Disc failed when backing up

Question

I was attempting to back up my library to DVD but on disc 7 something went wrong and I got an "unrecognized error -50"
iTunes won't recgonize the disc now. It gives the same error when I insert it. Now iTunes did start the back up process from where it left off but after what would of been disc 7. Since that disc failed I can't access anything on it through the back up system. Is there a way to just burn that disc or am I sol and going to have to start from the begining to get that disc?

Hi,
According to my search result, the issue could be caused if there is a different VSS provider exists and it is not working. Please first run this command line:
vssadmin list providers
This command generates the following output:
Provider name: 'Microsoft Software Shadow Copy provider 1.0' 
Provider type: System 
Provider Id: {b5946137-7b9f-4925-af80-51abd60b20d5} 
Version: 1.0.0.7
Note: This is the default output only if the in-box Volume Shadow Copy Service system provider is installed.
If it returns additional provider, please check if there is any related application installed and if it is working fine.
Also you can perform following steps to change back to use system provider:
Click Start, click Run, type regedit , and then click OK.
Locate the following registry subkey, and then right-click it:
HKey_Local_Machine\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\BackupRestore
Point to New, and then click DWORD Value.
Type UseMicrosoftProvider as the name for the new DWORD value, and then press ENTER.
Double-click UseMicrosoftProvider. To enable the new feature, type 1 in the Value box. To disable the new feature, type 0 in the Value box.
Press ENTER, and then exit Registry Editor.
Restart the server.
See if issue still exists.
