Disconnecting every 10 mins

I have an imac intel based which is fully updated and is around 2 years old.
I have got some issues regarding connecting to the net. I have a 1TB Time Capsule plugged direct into the imac via ethernet. TC is then connected to my new Netgear ADSL+ Modem, (model, DM111p v2).
All the lights are green on both TC and Netgear and when the net is up and running it is all as it should be and runs great. BUT, about every 10 mins or so the internet green light on the Netgear goes red and I lose my connection. TC stays green throughout the whole process. When eventually the Netgear light goes green, I still have no connection until I reboot.
I have phoned Apple soooo many times and no joy.
If anyone can help with step by step instructions on the best configuration that would be great. I think I would also need to know what settings to make both the TC and Netgear including ip addresses, bridge mode stuff etc.

I seemed to have solved the problem.
I have taken the Netgear back and used my Belkin router/modem

Do you have any other Accounts set up in iChat ?
Bonjour might be easiest if you have another Mac to "Chat" with as we might be talking about Wifi Drops rather than a Server end issue.
Have you tried creating a Second Mac User Account for testing and trying it there ?

If you try by Ethernet you can verify if the issue is with your WiFi network or if your appletv is defect as most users do not suffer as you do

HH3 disconecting every 29 mins, firmware reboot!

Hi all,
There are three other thread i have found with the firmware causing a reboot every 29 mins on hh3, i wondered has anyone found a cure for this yet?
The exact same problem exists with my hh3, the open reach guy who came around says it's the first time he had ever seen a router power off by itself every 29 mins.
Basically through reading the hh3 logs, doing some research and long hard ruling everything else out this is basically this is what is happening.
Server URL: https://pbthdm.bt.motive.com; Connecting as user: ACS username sends a firmware version check down my line every 29 mins and then for some reason sends a request to reboot the hh3, almost as if it's installed a new firmware, causing me to lose my connection until the hh3 restarts?
(Booting firmware 4.7.5.1.83.8.57.1.3 (Type A))
I really can't work out why, and it looks like it is a wider spread problem albeit not an epidemic, BTW now on HH3 number 4 had new nt5 box fitted. The problem stays the same with everything disconnected wired or wireless windows pc or ipad or apple mac .I have tried every conceivable combinations of discounting device all to no avail.
The only slightly strange this is that the problem seems to occur predominantly when using hhtp traffic,(no matter what device used to surf the web) if i am not surfingthe web, say at night and i play the ps3 sometimes it wont disconnect at all, same with the apple TV.
The broadband doesn't actually drop it seems its just the actual reboot that makes me lose my connection.
Does anyone know why or moreover the cure.

Incomng and Outgoing calls are stop routing every five min

Dear Team,
Please find the attached running config and logs.Incoming and outgoing calls are landing on the gateway properly. But call stop working every five min.PRI is up and no error on controller E1.
Please advise how to identify the issue?

Hp touchpad tablet shut off automatically in every 5 min or so

I just got touchpad and it's just keep shutting off in every 5 min or so. If I m not even using it. Is there anything I can do to stop it.

Get your TouchPad ready to update
Hold the Power Button for several seconds until a menu appears.
Tap Shut Down to completely power down your device.
Running webOS Doctor
Double-click the file that was downloaded to run webOS Doctor.
Follow the on screen directions up until you are asked to connect your device.
Select the language you selected on your device, and click Next.
Confirm your language choice.
Click Accept to accept the terms of use.
Click Next. webOS Doctor checks your system. BE PATIENT! I've seen this part take a few minutes to complete.
After webOS Doctor finishes checking your system, you will be asked to connect your device.
Connecting your device and finishing the webOS Doctor update
Connect your device to your computer using the USB cable. You must connect your device directly to your computer, not through a USB hub or other intermediate device.
Now the tricky part. Hold the Volume Up button on the device and insert the USB cable. After the large USB symbol appears on screen, let go of the Volume Up button. If you see the HP logo instead of the large USB symbol, you may have let go of the Volume Up button prematurely. If this occurred , wait until your device boots up, shut down your device and then repeat step 2.
Windows will find your device and may offer to install two different drivers.
When asked to install drivers of OMAP, select No, not at this time.
When asked to install drivers for Palm Novacom (bootie), select Yes and let the drivers install. This may take a while. Once the drivers have been installed, the Next button will become available in webOS Doctor.
Click Next.
Do not disconnect your device from the computer during the update process.
When the Reset Complete screen appears, click Done.
Wait a few minutes for your device to reset.
You're done!

Try changing your security options on your router to WPA-PSK [TKIP] + WPA2-PSK [AES]. You will need to log into your wireless router to change this.
It worked for me. Before it was dropping frequently and after the change, it is still connected over a day later.

Firefox keeps continually not responding every 10 min or so. It happens when doing pretty much anything--videos, Flash games, or just viewing a web page. This has been going on for about a month now and is very annoying. I'm considering switching to Chrome. Please help!

I have a requirement where i need to schedule the job to run every 30 mins for 10 am to 10 pm. I ran into problems using odi schedular. Let me tell you what i did..
i have chosen the active mode between 10 am to 10 pm
selected on startup/simple.
and on the repetitions tab selected many times with 30 mins duration.
the problem was-----
a)it was not stopping at 10 pm but continues after 10 pm
b)randomly picking up more times than the 1/2 hour duration.
looking for---
a solution that runs my scenario every 30 mins from 10 am to 10 pm without using the schedular...which i cannot trust.

Here is an alternate solution that i can think of:
create a package with the following components:
Variable(Refresh) -> OK -> Execute StartScen(YourJob) in Asynchronous mode -> odiSleep(30 mins) -> Loop to Variable Refresh
Variable (Refresh) -> KO -> odiSleep(30 mins) {if the refresh of the variable fails to get any value then skip the Job execution}
The Refresh query should be
select 1 from dual where to_char(sysdate, 'hh24mi') between '1000' and '2200'

FF 9,0.1 hangs every 30 mins, Windows 7 64-bit -- fix?

Every 30 mins. while FF 9.0.1 is open, I get 3 events in Windows Event Viewer at the same exact time -- #4624(account successfully logged on), #4672(special privileges assigned to new logon), and #7036(Windows Error Reporting Service starts). Then computer hangs for 2 minutes, during which the light for disk drive activity is constantly on. At end of hang, there's another event #7036(Windows Error Reporting Service stops). No error messages appear. Any ideas for a fix?

My iPod touch keeps stopping every 45 min's when listening to the radio via an app. What to do?

I listen to the radio via an app on my iPod touch, but every 45 min's or so the whole program stops and I have to reactivate the app, which is difficult in the middle of the night! Wifi connections is ok, iPod also fully charged. Please can anyone help me to sort this out? thanks!
