Discount Coupons - Core B1

Dear Experts,
Does anyone have any experience using discount coupons in core B1?
We have the need to apply a sales discount if the cutomer presents a coupon which is valid for a certain period.
Ideally, the coupon would be entered along with the sales order, and if the coupon is valid, they would be granted a certain discount.
Please let us know how you set your system up?

If the discount coupon covers the total value of the sales order, it would be easy just by set up a payment term to include whatever discount you need. However, if it is just partial payment, I couldn't find any options to automate it instead of manual calculation.

Buy Z10 with Discount Coupon Code? Code?

Hi, does anyone knows if there is a valid Discount COUPON CODE that is working now on BlackBerry Shop USA?
2 months ago there was one that discounted $100, so the Z10 could be bought for $200. Right now that same Code is not working. Is invalid.
I have a friend that wants to buy one today or tomorrow.

One time Discount Coupon to be used during the Sales Order Creation

I need help to configure a one time coupon to be used during a Sales Order creation. During 2009 our customers that have purchased more than certain amount we are going to give them a discount Coupon with a code that they can use just one time during his next purchase. I need help to configure this request.

Go VK11.
After maintaining the material & price, please go to -->Additional data.
You will be displayed with Validity, Assignments, Assignments for retail promotion, Limits for Pricing, Payments.
In the 'Limits for Pricing' you have three options - Max. condition value, Max number of orders & Max condition base value.
In the Max number of Orders - enter 1 to avail this special price only for first order.
Importent Note: to activate the ' Limit of Pricing' -- you need to tick 'Condition update' for the particular contion type, in condition type customising.
FOr eg. condition type - ZR00 - you need to have special price for this condition type & want to limit only for first order order.
In the customising for ZR00 - 'condition update' need to be ticked, then only you can get the above option.

A little over a week ago I purchased a new copy from an Amazon partner for $140 including shipping. That's about as low as I have seen it since I started keeping track a month or so ago... It was brand new in a shrink-wrapped box and it arrived in less than five days. So be sure to check the new/used listings at Amazon before ordering from the Amazon.
I haven't found any decent deals on eBay; the going prices when I was checking seemed to be as much as or more than at Amazon. I wouldn't hesitate to look on Craigslist for a used copy.
I always try Googling for discount coupons/codes prior to making an online purchase; sometimes I get lucky and find one...

Combining Mover's Discount Coupon and Student Discount Coupon on Macbook Pro with Retina Display

To whom it may concern,
I've recently saved up enough to buy a Macbook Pro with Retina Display 13.3" with 8GB Memory ($1235) and I read on a few forums that you could combine the Mover's Coupon and College Student Coupon on the Macbook. However, with that discount, many customers had trouble because the sales associate/manager said it wasn't applicable to apply the Mover's Coupon and neither was it applicable to combine both coupons.
As a result, I called my local Best Buy in Brooklyn, NY (Bay Parkway, Store #599) in advance to double check if it was possible so that I wouldn't be wasting my time trying to argue with the store manager, etc. The sales associate said generally, I couldn't combine two coupons regardless of what type they were.
I was wondering if combining the Mover's Coupon and College Student Coupon still applied to the Macbook Pro.
If it did, would it be possible for someone to directly contact my local Best Buy store manager or sales associate that would be ringing me up and explain how to do it and that it is possible to combine the two coupons. I also have a $100 Best Buy gift card that I intend to use with my purchase so I was wondering if that was applicable on top of the Best Buy coupons.

Express checkout and discount coupon

We only want people who express checkout to be able to use a Coupon code that they have got from TV. (We have Zed 7.0.2)
The problem is that people who view the cart try to apply the Coupon code without being in the Express Checkout process and are given the message 'You are not authorized to use this coupon code'
Further, if the checkout, and then do express login, they are diverted into the SHIPPING page per web flow. In other words, they are not allowed to apply the COUPON in any of the subsequent steps.
What I would ideally like is to custom code a special screen where they enter their email address, coupon code and after pressing checkout:
a. Express log in is automatically done
b. Coupon discount is auto applied
c. The particular product that we are promoting will already be in the cart and they are essentially viewing the cart or thrown into the shipping screen.
So the above is the ideal scenario.
The other method could be to not show the ADD COUPON area in the checkout screen until they are logged in or in Express checkout. But the problem them becomes is how to control the web flow to somehow bring them back after login (exprss checkout) to apply the coupon.
Any thoughts or an outline of the necessary classes I could use to speed up the process.
Currently I am thinking of using a custom screen to present fields to allow input of coupon code, email address:
a. Validate the coupon code using an api I will dig up
b. Account/Use object to create an express checkout,
c. And then create an order using the order object with the particular product we have in mind
So from a user perspective, they will then be thrown into the CART screen from which they can checkout.

Issue Closed:
Basically I used the expresscheckout as the basis and added a couponcode textbox, did validation etc. and passed if off to a subsequent custom process to create the cart/product/discount and redirected it to cart view.

Not Receiving Student Discount Coupons

I signed up for the student discount and received an initial set of coupons that were only good for one day. I signed up again several days ago (more than 72 hours) and have not received any coupons. I received the confirmation email to confirm enrollment and nothing else. I am getting incredibly frustrated as I would like to purchase a computer through best buy but also want to receive the best price as things are tight being a college student. Can anyone help me?!

We generally issue new student coupons each month. The most recent ones expired on 11/1, and new ones have not yet been issued. When the next set of coupons are available, you will receive them in your email as it sounds like you have already signed up and completed the confirmation process. Keep an eye out in the coming week or two.

Welcome to the Best Buy forum!
When you entered your EDU email address online, did you receive the confirmation email? It can take up to 24 hours to receive that email. Once your email address has been confirmed, you should receive an email with the current coupon codes almost immediately. On occasion though, it may take up to 72 hours to receive the coupons if there have been a lot of signups. You can signup and view the current College Student Deals here.

Movers coupon and Student discount coupon on MacBook Air

Hi
I had been to your store to purchase MacBook Air 13.3 available on discount price of $799. I was denied the usage of both the 10% movers coupon and 50$ students discount on this deal at the same. Store# 310 in Aurora, IL.
I had read other posts on your forum and it was clearly mentioned I could use both the coupons. I absolutely feel ridiculed by this inconsistency of what is mentioned on your forums vs what is told in Your store

It would be utterly frustrating to visit a store with intentions of getting a great deal on a MacBook Air only to have your Movers and College Student Deals coupons turned down in conjunction with each other. I'm sorry to hear that the Aurora, IL store may not have been aware of the ability to combine these coupons.
As it is our understanding that devices that qualify under both coupons should be able to have both coupons applied, please know that I am reaching out to the aforementioned store to pass along your experience. While I understand that the sale has ended and that this was not the desired outcome, you should of course feel welcome to return to the store and request assistance from leadership to make your purchase utilizing both coupons.

Our College Student Deals program is a great way to save money at a time when it’s most needed. I’m sorry to hear there’s an issue with your account though, as I know I’d be bummed if I couldn’t take advantage of all the amazing deals we have to offer.
I understand you’ve tried multiple times to receive these coupons, but as you mentioned you signed up over a month ago, I’m unsure what may have caused this issue. If you wouldn’t mind, please go ahead and enter your email address into our system one more time. Once you validate the confirmation email you should receive, please know that it can take up to 72 hours for the coupons to arrive to your email.
Please make sure your spam/junk mail folders, along with making sure that your individual email account isn’t blocking these emails and that your school’s IT department doesn’t block them as well.
Once you have checked on those and you find yourself still needing help, please let me know and I will see what other assistance we can provide.

Refused the Student discount coupon for iPad mini retina

Today i visited the local bestbuy store to grab the iPad mini retina. It was a good deal and all over the internet people are talking about getting the same for $299 + tax after using $50 student edu coupon. To my surprise the local bestbuy refused to honor their own coupon.
Coupon clearly says its valid instore or online, but still no luck. Requested to talk to a store manager and same answer. Sorry sir, we cannot let you use this.
One Geek squad person asked me if i can show him the coupon works and i did. To my surprise, after seeing that too, he said, I don't know, but we will not let you use it in store. I showed him again, see the coupon says instore, same answer.
I did told the manager that i can sit in the store, order one online and pickup here itself, I don't see any difference. She simply said, you can do that, but we will not honor the coupon in store, like she don't know or want to know what a customer is trying to explain.
Finally i said i want to file a compaint against her and she smiled and said, please go ahead and call 1-800 number and tell them my name is Michel.
Wow, I just simply said Wow.. never had such an experience. Just sharing my story and wondering what you could have done if you happen to be at my place.
Note: I know there is no difference and i could have make it easy for every one by ordering iPad online and pickup from store, but that was not the point. The point was the attitude of the BB manager for their customers and even once they did not try to understand and try to resolve the issue or at least have exaplined on what ground the coupon cannot be used in store.

Getting an extra $50 off an iPad Mini with Retina display would be a great deal, but only if you get to benefit from it! I am truly sorry to hear that despite these coupons showing that they are good in the store, you were denied its use.
Based on the information you’ve provided, I’m not really sure why the store would have denied the use of that coupon. You are correct in that these coupons can be used either in-store or online and that is called out here on BestBuy.com.

Ive been trying to receive the promo code for the $150 off the surfacepro 3 as well. I have verified my email address and even received a coupon email thing but it was only for a laptop and 2 in 1. Also, when I try to get to it from the "college student deals" thing under the deals tab on the website and click on the "$150 off surface pro 3" icon it just takes me right to the page where you can compare and add to cart.
How can I get the promo code for the particular item I want?

Getting an extra $150 off a Surface Pro 3 is nothing to sneeze at, so I can understand your desire to make sure that you received that coupon as well. It’s definitely not normal that you received the other two coupons with getting that third one.
