Discount from Vendor back to the WBS

hi Experts,
Need a quick advise on a issue please :
We have a vendor payment terms 2%/10 day's on 30 day's net, the issue is my client wants is to assign the cost benefit to the project where the Po was orgionally initiated from,
we can assign the cash discount account but want this number posted to this gl go back to the WBS,
please advise if this is possible in Vanilla without an enhancement, can some one please share there experience on this front.

Additionally you may want to check the Application help for F.50. It mentions profit center allocation is possible. (am not sure how your Profit centers are alloted for WBS, if it is one to one ( in extreme cases, some may!), then this could be achieved)
Also check what happens if the cash discount is created as a cost element.

Preventing the User from going back to the main page after logging out.

Hi all,
In my project I want to prevent the User from going back to the Main page, by clicking the back button of the browser, after the user has loggged out.I had invalidated the session so the user will not be able to do any operations, but he can vew the infos. I want to redirect to the login page if the user tries to go back using the back button after he has logged out.
I tried the same in this forum after loging out. Surprisingly it is the same. I can browse through all the operations i did even after logging out from here.
Is it not possible to do that in Servlets?Could somebody help?

You can use a servlet filter to do this , as it can interceptany request to your application you can decide to allow user access or not to any page/servlet.

Yes you can. There are few ways to do this, assuming that itunes with your library doesn't work anymore.
You can try with a freeware software for Windows named
iPhone PC Suite
Another way is to install on your iPhone an app that shares your music. I have one, it's called SongExporter.

I can't stop my song from looping back to the beginning

I have created some backing tracks for a swing band that has lost its rhythm section and have to date played them back (via a big speaker) using Logic pro X on a macbook air.
I want to use my ipad instead as it's smaller and handier when you have to juggle with ipad, an instrument, sheet music and mutes etc..
I've succeeded in copying tracks exported from Logic into GarageBand iOS version using the "Export All Tracks as Audio Files" option. I imported them as individual tracks into GB and they play back just fine. However...
I can't stop them from looping back and starting again, which in a rehearsal environment I DO NOT need! I assume this is because I had to import them using the loop-loading tool - set to "audio" - in GB iOS. Can anyone help me get round this please. Or is there an iOS DAW that would do this job instead of GB?

Looks like playback for GB on iOS always loops the current section or the whole song. Export the songs to iTunes and you can play them as you want, probably putting each in its own playlist so it is easier to play once then stop, or by adding long silences between tracks that you can then skip when you are ready.

How can I restore deleted file attachments from further back than the history tool will let me go?

I have a open form that collects registration information from customers, including documents and images that they can upload using file attachment fields. Back on 2/24 I inadvertently deleted the several hundree responses that the form had collected up until that point. Using the history tool, I accessed older, intact versions of the form, selected the deleted rows, and copy/pasted them back into the latest verskon of the document. It seemed to work fine, but I didn't look closely enough to see that the attachments had been lost. The file referenvces were still there, but they had little red exclamation marks next to them and couldn't be opened.
A couple week later, I discovered this and tried to go back into the form's hsitory again until before that accident on 2/24. However, I can no longer go back in time that far. The system only seems to let me go back around 10 days.
We need to recover the lost file attachmentrs. Is there a self-service way for me to restore my form back to 2/24, including file attachments? If not, could an Adobe supprrt technician hele me to do that?

lol, nevermind. I came across an article that made it easy. For anyone else with this problem it's real simple.
Open itunes
File>Add Folder to Library
select 'itunes' and it will add your music to your library
Although it went through all my apps asking if I want to replace or don't replace with newer, when it finished all my music appeared in itunes just like I left it before reinstalling Win 7. Easy Peasy. I've seen others with same problem but nobody seemed to have this easy solution.
Now I can finally plug in my iphone and sync without losing all my music from my iphone.

How to return string from Applet back to the broser textbox

Hi everybody , i m new to java applet .
I have an applet running on the browser along with a text box. the applet connects to the database and in the end a string should be copied back to the textbox on the browser. I have no idea how do i do it
if anybody can help me.
my applet is working well. its just integration with the browser giving me hard time.

With "text box", do you mean a text field on a HTML page? If yes, you could use the JSObject class from netscape to issue a Javascript call to the page similar to window.document.form[0].textfieldname and provide the string. The Applet tag must contain the MAYSCRIPT=true argument to allow the Applet to issue Javascript commands.

How can I stopMail messages on my iPad 3 from scrolling back to the top on their own?

When replying to an email message if I scroll down to read a previous message in the thread the screen keeps scrolling back to the top of my reply. I don't recall setting it up to do this. Is there some way to stop it?

It should not do that unless you tap the top of the screen for the quick scroll to the top feature.
You can try quitting the mail app completely and then restart the iPad to see if that helps.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
If that doesn help - try a reset.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

Back up discounts from Vendors in consignment purchase

A retailer purchases stock on consignment from a vendor before the start of the season
During the season , for slow moving stock the retailer enters into a markdown arrangement with the vendor where for specific SKU the retailer marks down the price by certain percentage which is shared with the vendor.
For example: If for sports sweat shirt for the XXL sizes the retailer wants to offer a 50 % discount on the product . Of this discount 25% will be shared by the vendor/manufacturer.
During the settlement of the vendor's liability this additional discount needs to be reduced from the vendor payables.
How can this be managed .

There is this vendor we have invoiced, say 1000USD and due to some issue we wanted to return some goods. But the vendor suggested us without returning goods; he gave a us a discount to the invoice amount. We have already recorded the invoice and we want to make a credit entry against the invoice posted. We can not use a credit memo because there is no change in units of goods, only this is we want to deduct from the invoice amount. How can we record this

It is slightly a process related queary...
Eventhough the vendor does not want to take back his goods, it is of no use for your company. It should be returned to the vendor in SAP if not physically and this material should be removed from our books of accounts.
Still if you do not want to do that, you can change the payment terms (FB02) in the vendor line item where you will get the discount if you pay before certain period. Use the payment terms if it is avaiable already if not create one with payment discount with period which is with in the number of days from the invoicing.

Atlast I'm done with my problem. I am able to write my image to the host.
I have converted the Image(buffered image) into a byte stream
ImageIO.write(bimg,imgType,bos);
converted the stream to byte array:
byte[] b=bos.toByteArray();
and used HttpURLConnection to write the byte array to the host.

How do I go from Drafts back to the inbox? I have tried all the icons in the draft screen and nothing alows me to move from the drafts screen to receive new em?

When the computer was turned off-I had just finished and sent a draft. This morning I cannot get out of the "drafts screen" . I have tried all the icons,have closed the Thunderbird Monzilla,have turned the computer off and back on-but the drafts screen remains!!!

How do i stop my ipod touch from reverting back to the default music player everytime i get back in my car?

The only place I use my Ipod Touch is in my car that has an iPod connection and the steering wheel controls, but I mostly listen to audio books with the audible app. Everytime I get in my car instead of the iPod just picking up where it left off with the audible app it picks up playing whatever was last listened to with the default music player. How can I stop this? Although sometimes it will pick up with the audible app where it stopped when I last used the car (the time I spend with it not playing in the car doesn't seem to make a difference.). Just a little side question is there anyway to get rid of the newstand app, safari, messaging, facetime, gamecenter and all those other app that apple forces upon it's users?

There is nothing yo can do to return to the app you want.
You can't delete the apps that came with the iPod. Except for NewsbStand, you can put the apps you do not want into one folder and move it to the last screen
