Discounts in APP

Hello,
We have an issue in APP. Discounts have to be removed manually on credits and also the discount here is calculated on the local currency rather than on the document currency but upon drilling down, the discount appears to be correct on the detail. Request help on this.

Apple does not offer educational discounts on the iPhone. I don't know what you mean by "app for Apple".

Cash Discount in APP

Hi All,
I am trying to run F110 but encounter the following error message:
Account xxxxxxxxx requires an assignment to a CO Object.
Actually this is Cash Discount taken account which is appearing during APP run and of P& L Account .
I have already set an automatic account assignment (e.g cost center default) in txn OKB9 to avoid posting error , when the payment program posts the cash discount line .
Please advise what could I do to avoid posting error and throw some light on Cash Discount procedure.

You may also want to check whether there is a tolerance day specified in FBZP, on the same screen where you would check Max cash discount or tolerance group in master data, where grace days are allowed for discounts.

Cash discount in APP F110

Hi,
When I am processing vendor payment through Automatic payment transaction (F110), system is calculating vendor payment net of cash discount though the payment is overdue. For e.g., due date is 10th July 09, but I am processing payment 15th July, even in this case cash discount is being deducted out of payment made to vendor.
In FBZP we have not checked maximum cash discount. Even then why system is calculating cash discount for overdue payment.

As a cs6 user can I get a first year discount on a 'single app' plan?

I have the cs6 design standard package and have just bought a retina macbook pro, I have just discovered that there is retina support for photoshop and illustrator cs6 but not indesign. I am aware as a cs6 user I can get a first year discount on the full cc plan but I only need indesign cc for the retina support and not the full plan. I was wondering if I could get a 12 month discounted single app plan for just indesign cs6 or if I would have to pay the full £17.58?

There is no discounted Single App offer.
Only the full Cloud and only for the first 12 months.

Cash Discount Strategy
Use

·        Make payments according to a strategy which is somewhere between these two extremes.
If the highest possible cash discount is desired, flag the field Max. Cash Discount:
If you have specified a minimum percentage rate the payment program settles items only if the discount percentage rate entered can be reached in the current payment run. If not, payment is made when the amount is due net. If you wish to make payment as late as possible, enter 99 percent as the minimum percentage rate (during payment program configuration). This determines that payments are always made net.
You can also use the minimum percentage rate to define strategies that lie between the two extremes (maximum discount or due net).

I am experiencing the same issue with free and discounted apps. I have successfully purchased a few non-discounted, paid apps since this problem started. As tgroman mentioned, I am experiencing this issue across all of my devices (iPad, iPad 2, iTouch), so it is almost certainly an account related issue.
There is one other thing that I will mention that may or may not be related. Around the same time as I started noticing this issue, I had attempted to re-download a "previously purchased" free app (Ccmixter), but the download failed for some reason. Since then, most of the time when I update apps, I will get a message like "CCMixter could not be downloaded." Despite getting the message, the apps do update successfully.
The last time I got the message, it said something like "CCMixter and 7 other apps could not be downloaded." At that point, I had been able to download CCMixter, and it was actually installed when I got the message.

Dear,
This problem is often cause due to changing payment term in the document. Use transaction FB03 enter the invoice document got Environment>Document changes. If you see the payment term has been changed then restore the old payment term into the document.

But, as far as I know, it breaks copyright law. I want to be 100% legal.
But it is impossible for me to efford that much money to buy them. So, does Apply give any discount for the students?

Again, it depends on where you get it and how Apple continues to sell it. If you buy from the Mac App Store, then as long as Apple doesn't make some future version a new, separate app, then you would be able to get all future upgrades. But Apple could decide to release some future version of Motion as a new app in which case, as deggie said, you will have to buy it again. There's no way to know, and Apple can't/won't tell you so there's no point in contacting Apple Support on the issue.

Discounted apps aren't available unless bought in bulk for educational facilities or businesses. Perhaps it might be available through the educational facility if it's specifically necessary for the course. Hope it helps
