Discounts in Retail

I am working in retail sector.
Here the client is using 7.0 BI and they dont have POSDM in the scope. So now i need to use older vesion of cube like 0RT_C02, 0RT_C05, ORT_C06 and C07. But on this cubes i dont find any discount reports. Can anyone let me know which cubes gives data regarding the discounts?

I am trying to find out if I am able to purchase an iPod from an Apple Retail Store in the UK (Regent Street) at the Student/Education price, by going in person and showing my Student ID card and NUS card?

Pre-order discrepancies...

Bear with me on this...
I was told initially, as many here were, that youcould only pre-order from Verizon. Then others spoke to Apple reps who claimed that yes, you could also pre-order from Apple.
Then I was told by VW cs reps that if you pre-order on the 3rd, the phone will ship within 24hrs and you should receive it on or around the 7th. (I know others have been told other things, but this is the only answer I have heard from the three reps I spoke with.)
I just got off the phone with an apple supervisor who said that yes you could pre-order with them, but the phone will not ship until the 10th.
So... by this information, you can order from apple, but you will get your phone first from Verizon.
I have apple gift cards, so I am going through apple.

Yes, they did. I called 3 retail locations near me Monday and spoke to the Store Managers and I called the Apple online store and held on to speak with a Supervisor. All 4 Apple supervisors told me explicitely that you can order on the 3rd AS LONG as you are an existing customer. Discount, full retail, ugrade eligible/uneligible does not matter. The ONLY qualification is that you must have an existing account and line with VZW.
They also said you can make the order over the phone by calling Apple store online, if you have any issues online or if the online ordering system was not working. I think they told me that last part because they probably get some type of incentive if you order on the phone with a person.
I also spoke with a Verizon supervisor Monday. She also told me the same thing basically. Any existing VZW customer can pre-order. When I asked her she thought I was crazy for even asking such a stupid question. "of course you can order at full retail- you're an EXISTING CUSTOMER SIR! The only people who cannot pre-order are non VZW customers" . Were her words.
That lead me to another question that I haven't heard asked and it might just bein the FAQ. But, if I recall correctly, the FAQ states pre-orders to VZW on or around the 3rd. Does that mean on the 4-10th existing customers can still pre-order? Seems like everyone is assuming it's either or. I may have missed it in the FAQ but, never thought about it until now. Does the FAQ say you HAVE to pre-order on the 3rd otherwise you have to wait until the 10th?
As of the last time I checked (which was like two hours ago) it doesn't state anything about it. Now, as we've all been told the FAQ is CONSTANTLY changing (with what? I don't know. Don't notice much of a change even now). I asked my friend who used to work for Verizon and she said that she imagines that it will be able to be pre-sold until their inventory runs out. But that they may have a set amount that they can go through for pre-orders so that there are still some in stores and on VZW.com the day of launch.
ONLY HER GUESS. She doesn't know for sure. But that was her guess. But, it matters if they run out on the 3rd at midnight I guess.

IPhone 3G purchases with IRU discount at AT&T Retail only (KB article)

Having stood in one of the long lines on Friday for the iPhone 3G at an Apple Retail Store, this KB document which was just posted yesterday could have saved us lots of time on launch day.

Most of us had to walk in the store, find out that we couldn't purchase an iPhone 3G because of an IRU discount on our accounts, call AT&T multiple times (each call wait time around 10-15 minutes) to find someone who would take the IRU discount off our accounts, purchase the iPhone 3G, activate it later in the afternoon (because of the iTunes meltdown), call AT&T back to put the IRU discount back onto our accounts.
I was around the 40th in line at the Glendale Galleria store in CA and multiple waiters in line in front of me had to do the exact same thing, causing us these unnecessary long wait times.
If this KB article was posted before launch day, we could have called AT&T ahead of time and made sure our accounts were IRU discount free on Friday.
Of course, this is all after the fact. Sorry if this sounds like a rant. I think I can speak for everyone who waited in line with IRU discounts.

I wonder if this represents a policy change? I was told by AT&T before buying my iPhone 3G (which I did on launch day) that I needed to go to an AT&T Store to have the discount applied, or I could apply it later online. So, I bought my iPhone at an Apple Store, then activated the discount online the next day. On 7/25, I exchanged my iPhone for a new one, after I had the discount on the plan. The Apple employee simply called AT&T and had the discount removed (took about 2 minutes, with a quick verbal confirmation from me), and then activated my replacement phone. I then re-applied the discount online.

IS Retail, Promo Discounts, KA02, WGRU1

I am trying to set up a promotional discount at Merchandise Category 1 (WGRU1) level. The promotion discount condition (KA02) requires a table containing the field WGRU1 in order to hold the % discount. Even though this field is in the field catalogue, it isn't available when creating the condition table. I tried creating a copy of this field (ZZWGRU1) but there isn't an appropriate user exit to populate this field from the standard one through WAK1. I also looked at the promotion BADI but had the same problem.
Does anyone know how best to resolve this?

If i go to an apple retail store can i still get a discount from the student discount just like how i get it from the apple store.

I have a feeling that the answer would be no, so you're better off ordering your iPod through the Apple Store for Education and getting it that way. It's free shipping, too, so it's not like you would be paying any more for it than normal.

Discounts in SAP Retail Store

Hi gurus,
Do you know if it is possible to have discounts (like price conditions in standard SAP) in SRS functionality for local vendors in a specific store only?
My scenario is that I have a store that negociate directly with a vendor and store has discount with that vendor if it buys a certain quantity of articles. If I can not do this in SRS I can not have this information in the system and invoices could be posted without this info.

Hey i'm looking at buying a MB that looks a pretty good price and I had a code to get £23 off a £235 spend but it is 2 days out.

You may not be able to get a discount simply because of the fact that it is two days out. I suggest try to get another one on your next purchase.

Will a BestBuy retail store match the education discount of another local retailer?

Good afternoon.
My wife is looking to get a Microsoft Surface Pro 3. The local Microsoft store offers a 10% education discount (she'd faculty) on the system and the keyboard cover. Would a local BestBuy store match this discount on these items?
As a secondary question, would the online store match as well? I am just now seeing that my local store is out of stock on the specific model she is looking at.

Free goods in Retail

These are scenario for Beverage business- mostly they have complicated promotion on free gifts which I think SAP ERP SD cannot cover it. I also check Promotion in retail and found out, if it's discount - it can handled but for free goods - there is similar to ERP Sales. If anyone can take a look at the below case and share with me whether IS-Retail can handle it or any idea how to handle it as now I can only think of custom development.
This is pretty much general scenario in Thailand, not only beverage but wholesales & distribution but I don't think SAP ERP can handle it smoothly.
1. Buy soda water size 10 oz regardless of soda taste (coke, orange, grape) for 1 pack (1 pack consist of 24 bottles) then get 1 bottle free.
2. Buy soda water size 10 oz regardless of soda taste for 1 pack, then get 1 bottle free - maximum at 2 sets.
3. Buy soda water either size 10 oz or 15 oz for 1 pack, get 1 bottle of 10 oz free
4. Buy soda water regardless of soda taste as set i.e. for every 36 packs of combine size 10 oz, 15 oz and 1 lt - get free items of 10 oz/15 oz for 2 bottles per pack and free item of 1lt for 1 bottle per pack
5. Similar to 4 with additional condition that 1 soda taste must be more than 50% - for example, it must be coke at least 50%
6. Sales quota - Buy 1 pack, get 1 bottle free - maximum 100 bottles for each customer

1. Use txn VBK1 to create a bonus buy condition
2. In SAP Retail, we can create % Off Conditions, Absolute Off Conditions as standard promotion conditions, Special Price Conditions.
3. You can also can create Bonus Buy: Price, Bonus Buy: % Discount, Bonus Buy: Absolute Discount and Bonus Buy: Free Goods conditions.
For Example: Buy 4 Get 1 Free Article is a Bonus Buy condition. for this try In VBK1, use Discount Type BB04 to configure bonus buy.

Whats the difference between a discount upgrade and a full upgrade

I currently have a windows lumina smart phone. Its up for a discounted upgrade now. I want to upgrade to an Iphone 6 plus but what is the difference if I get the upgrade now with the discount VS waiting till it's totally due for an upgrade? Would I pay nothing if I wait or would I still end up paying?

I'm not sure what you mean by "it's totally due for an upgrade". You can upgrade at any time by paying full retail price for a phone or buying a gently used phone from somewhere like swappa (or borrowing a phone from someone). If you're eligible for a subsidized/discounted upgrade, you'd pay the two-year contract price listed on the VzW web site. You can check your subsidized/discounted upgrade date by dialing #UPG from your cell phone.

What are the benefits of buying from Apple as opposed to other retail stores?

You can buy from an Apple store, which has a 14 day return policy.
You can buy on-line from Apple and get a new or refurb model (less $), and get engraving if you want it.
Some retail stores have a more generous return (30 days?) policy.
You can buy from an on-line Apple Authorized Reseller. I bought (with free shipping) mine from MacMall because I didn't have to pay sales tax. I paid with my American Express CC to get, for free, an additional 1 year warranty.
Regardless of where you buy you still get the 30 day Apple Care and 1 year warranty. You can extend, for $, the Apple Care for 2 years. Or you can buy, for $, Apple Care +, which provides accidential damage repair insurance. There's also some 3rd party sources to buy the accidential insurance.
Some retail stores and on-line stores offer a small discount or add a bonus item.
It's your choice. Find the best deal.
