Photoshop Elements 13 ... also is not easy enough to use progress in program cannot be saved and program acts in a way to ruin your progress if any in organizing files ... also the file size at like 34,000 files and plus is just too hard for my computer and I cannot delete these files even trying to do so slowly ... the programs does not feel like it has all the necessary file information and there is no associated file information to help me ... Lynda wants you to join but has no clue points to help me to find my way around ... where in heavens name could I begin??
If Lynda cannot do the job can you recommend some other resource which may help?

You started with Dreamweaver and you also went on to say about Photoshop (I believe you are talking about Photoshop Elements) so it is difficult to know what exactly are you talking about.
Assuming you are talking about Photoshop elements then your best bet is to start with a good book and work through it page by page to get a hang of the PSE.
The only way to master anything is to read about it and perform the necessary steps in a live environment using the trial version of the product or even buying the product outright.
Adobe Website has lots of videos free of charge to get started and perhaps you can start with them.

What settings do I change so that Dreamweaver does not force me to use version control?

I don't know what setting I have changed - I have worked in my site and ftp'd to my server for the past week. Something changed today.
There is a red X next to Version Control in the Site Setup for X Site dialog box.
In Files view, in the Remote Repository pane, there's a link to define version control settings.
I don't have subversion, nor do I have a need. I just want to see my files on the remote server. Get/Push work. However, there is no server tree view. Tips?

Hi AcronymCity, Same happened to me, around the time you posted in Dec (DW vs 5.5)
I got my server files back by
1- In preferences (cmd-U) - > site -> Dependant files -> UNchecking "prompt on get / check out"
2- In preferences (cmd-U) - > site -> Dependant files -> UNchecking "prompt on put / check in"
3- Further down same dialogue - > check save files before putting
4- Then to "files" window. -> I then manipulated the "repositories" button, which was resisiting being unpressed before, to unpressed (toolbar on "files" window)
This got rid of the "repository files" request and I booked the sites in with the server in the usual way via the Manage sites/Edit dialogue. All previous ftp server data re-inputted.
Now, whether this is what did it or whether it was something else, I dunno, (I used the blessed CyberDuck in the meantime). Hope this works for you if you haven't solved it some other way ... nosada1592

Selection area not big enough when using UITableViewCellAccessoryDetailDisc

Am setting accessoryType property to UITableViewCellAccessoryDetailDisclosureButton on my UITableCell which is working fine except the clickable area is tiny and can only be selected if you sharpen your finger to a fine point. Any idea how to make it bigger ?

I have a new PC and I am getting the message "The iTunes Library File cannot be saved. You do not have enough access privileges for this operation." I am the only one using this PC and I have Windows 7 Pro and have an administrator account. Help

I have administrator account and transferred files from old PC. I downloaded new iTunes program on new PC. I synced my iPhone to new PC, no problem. I deleted old account after indicating shared files to new admin account. Can anyone help?

A belated reply, as the problems itunes has have discouraged me from using it much. If you uncheck the "read only" box, it doesn't stay that way! Next time you use it, the box comes up checked.
I'm still having that problem, even when I open iTunes as administrator.

QuickBooks for Mac has been available again since at least 2004 (Intuit before that had done nothing with it for years). The current version is QB for Mac 2014. It's pretty much the same price no matter where you look.
The Mac version data is not directly compatible with the Windows version. Sending your data out to your business tax accountant and getting it back in is not at all easy. It's such a pain, our accountant comes here to finalize the books at year end.
There is still also a lot of Windows features for QB Pro which have never been added to the Mac version. They're all on the higher end side that larger businesses would need. I've never run into anything with the Mac version I couldn't do.
If your accountant wants ease of data transfer, then you'd be better off purchasing Snow Leopard Server and run that in Parallels. Then run the Windows version of QB in that.

My guess would be it has created an entirely new backup of your drive when you upgraded to Mavericks.

There is no free version of CS2. There is only a special version of CS2 available for people who purchased it and need to reinstall it.

I upgraded to 20gb iCloud but it isn't enough to back up. I get constant error messages saying there is no backup space and I've not been able to use the upgrade. Apple promised to refund then didn't. Please help is there anyway I can use this space?

If you were told they would refund the price for the iCloud storage - Contact AppleCare and ask to speak with a senior advisor. Have the case number for the promised refund available.
If you are trying to update your device, but you don't have sufficient space to download and install the update, you need to delete content from your device. Buying storage in iCloud does not add space to the device which is what you need.
You can always update using a computer with iTunes installed - this method is faster, and will allow you to make a backup on the local computer (Local backups restore faster than iCloud backups).

iCloud backups only give you 5GB free if your backup is larger then 5GB then you need to purchased more storage.

At face value it would suggest the content of your library is too obscure, however it might mean your library is too small for the feature to be active, or that it hasn't catalogued your content yet.

Unfortunately yes, but Snow Leopard is still a great OS in the meantime so don't rush in too quick if you really don't need to.
