Discoverer 9i: Export data to PDF gives internal error

Hi there!
In discoverer 9.0.2.39.01 (desktop edition), EUL 5.0.0.0.0.0 the export data option
to PDF gives the following error:
Internal Error in generating report Export failed.
In MetaLink you can find bug 780474 for Discoverer 3! It seems to be the same bug?!
If there is a workaround please send a hint to the list.
Anybody out there who can give me a hint?

Here is the solution:
I have five Oracle Homes on my PC, because I am testing new releases of
Oracle software (e.g. Discoverer 9.0.2).
The database connect is well defined in the tnsnames.ora in the oracle home
for 9i tools but not defined in the oracle home for 6i Tools (a newbie error
- annoyingly, but there is no qualified error message from Discoverer ...).
So Reports (6i!) is not able to connect to the target database. But if you
wish to export to PDF you need reports 6i.

Help with exporting data from pdf form

I have about 100 pdf forms that I created in adobe forms central and distributed as a pdf form (rather than on the web). I am trying to export the data into a spreadsheet but when I export it, the fields are all jumbled in the csv file, as in they are not in the same order. I need to export the data all together so I'm going to the forms menu and selecting "manage form data" and then selecting "merge data files into spreadsheet". I tried exporting a single file but that gave me something really weird.
Please help, I have a deadline next week to analyze this data and can't make sense of it once it is exported to a spreadsheet.

Would you please share your form with me and send me one of your pdf forms and some of the csv files?
You can share your form by doing the following:
1. Click on the “Share” icon on the bottom left corner.
2. Click on “Add Collaborator” on the popup menu.
3. Enter [email protected] under “People to share with”.
4. Set subject to "Export data from pdf form"
5. Click the “Share” button on the bottom right of the dialog.

Export data on pdf-form to Excel

I would need help for exporting data from pdf-form to Execl spreadsheet
the basic idea is that a pdf-form would be the user interface to collect the data with text boxes / drop-downs (such as "Vendor", "Purchase order number", "Date", "Text" etc.) and after the data is filled on the pdf-form it would be easily exported (with button?) to one certain Excel -file.
The Excel-file should have similarly named colums and the data from pdf-form would be exported always to the next empty row.

The idea was that the user would fill-in the data on the pdf -form and from there this data would be exported to one named Excel-file ( = data exported always to same Excel - file / to the next empty row)
So this Excel -file would act as a summary file / database from where the collected data could be easily sorted etc.
Another issue is that I'm looking for easy solution for the exporting fuction (e.g. button + java script) so that also the "dummy users" could operate this

ADS: com.adobe.ProcessingException: Error exporting Data into PDF

Hi Experts,
when trying to upload a PDF file to my WD4A application and extract the data I am getting this ADS Error:
ADS: com.adobe.ProcessingException: Error exporting Data into PDF - PDF Exception: Invalid object for the XFA entry in the forms dictionary.(200201).
The error only appears when I`m trying to upload a PDF file that has been created after an Java Script Update of the Adobe Form Builder. My actual version is 710.20070621204053.403203.403203 - ContainerFoundation_JS.
All PDF files created before this update can be uploaded without problems. Am I missing something to be updated?!

Question: Export data in TSV format ? how
I am working in JDEV 10g, OA Framework 12.0.6.
I have a page which has a OA Table populated with data, I need to export this data in a TSV (*Tab Separated values*) format.
I know that we can add a “Export” button and then the data is exported in a CSV (comma Separated values) format.
The question is how to save in TSV format instead.
Reason for using TSV format: Our Data contains Unicode characters(Asian characters) which CSV files will not support. (FYI: Oracle Forms export in TSV format)

"Save As" or "Export" gives "Internal Error"

When I use the "save as" or "export" functions, I get an
error message that says "An internal error has occurred" on one
line and another "An internal error has occurred" on a second line
below. Clicking OK allows the save, but it makes the "save as"
window act funky, and some of the controls (like up one level icon
or back icon) disappear. Makes it tough to navigate to the proper
folder to save the file.
This began with my trial of Fireworks 8. Shortly thereafter,
I downloaded the trial for CS3, same error. Today I purchased
Fireworks CS3, uninstalled the trial and reinstalled the file
downloaded from Adobe. Same error. Never had this with MX2004.
Can't find this one anywhere on the web. Can anyone help?

IIRC the IDE for Java Developers does not include the PDE SDK (Plug-In
Development Environment); so, either you install it in your Eclipse, or
you download at least "Eclipse for Committers" or "Eclipse for RCP".

Emailing from LR4 gives internal error

Emailing from LR4 (export for email), gives the following error, "An internal error has occurred: There is something wrong in CryptUnprotectData." I am not trying to interface with Facebook, but use a gmail account for email. Does anyone know how to solve this error?

MFL.convertToXml() gives 'Internal Error' in custom adapter

Has anyone seen the MFL.convertToXml() fail with:
IllegalStateException: Internal Error, current node is null
dies at com.bea.nonxml.readers.NonXMLReaderVisitor.nextToken(NonXMLReaderVisitor.java:110)
Anyone got source to this?

Just worked around it by doing the MFL.convertToXml() inside the ejb container.
The way you get the binary data through the JCA to the container is by converting the binary data to a HexBinary XML type. (if you find another way please let me know)
Pull out the binary once you receive it ( I use a JPD ). Then perform the translation. I think its very inefficient since you have to do bin-hex-bin-xml XML crap, but it works.

Cannot Print PDF Large volume PDF. Internal Error: 8004, 6343724, 8484240, 0

We are having an issue with printing to PDF for large volume FM files. PDF appear to work for small/medium volume PDFs however.

FrameMaker 8.0.0 for Intel
Build: 8.0p273
I've checked the default printer and it is set to Adobe PDF. I've also tried to print to PDF to a different FM file just in case the current file might be corrupted and the same error appears. At this point this issue is affecting our work as we cannot save it to PDF. Does anyone have any ideas that I can try?

Thank you for your reply. Here are some further details on the question that you asked:
1. At that beginning, because the PDF file has 226 pages as total and consists of 19 fm files, which I mean the big volume, I thought this problem occurs. (FYI, the small/medium volume means the PDF file has 112 pages as total and consists of 16 fm files / only around 20 pages as total and consists of only 1 fm file.)
However, now, I know the problem occurs in the specific two very small fm files. These two fm files are only 3 pages / 15 pages as total and consists of only one fm file. – So, I do not think the volume relates to this problem.
2. I always use “save it to PDF” to create PDF files so far. I am using the PDF distiller that came with FrameMaker8.
3. All files including graphics are in my local drive (C drive).
So I'm wondering if the problem is possible due to the two specific fm files. If so, what are your recommendations to get around this?

OnDemand after Source Clocked give "internal error status -88700"

Hi,
I am using Analog Input and Counter Input simultaneously with a shared internal clock source on the NI PCIe-6363
I'm running on WinXP, with NIDAQmx Driver 9.1.1f0
I start off by doing some OnDemand acquisitions and it all works.
Then I configure the task for Sample Clocked acquisitions and everything works.
Then I try to configure the task back to OnDemand using DAQmxSetSampTimingType, but when I start the task I get "DAQmx Error: An internal error occurred. Status Code : -88700"
If I ignore the error and try to acquire samples, I get a blue screen of death and the PC reboots.

Task Name: MyTaskCI
Status Code: -88700
I tried unreserving the task, and setting the sampling timing type back to on demand, with input buffer size to 0 (also tried 1, and 1000, neither worked). I noticed that going to sample clocked mode changed various properties. I tried manually setting the data transfer mechanism back to programmed io, and disabling CI memory mapping but that did not help. Additionally I tried setting the sampling mode to finite, and number of samples per channel to 1 but that didn't help either. I also tried setting the sample clock source back to blank, but that didn't help. I am not sure if there's something else I am missing. I tried reading all the properties I thought might be getting changed by sample clocked mode, and re-applying them - but that didn't work either.
Please find attached a simplified peice of code (adapted from the NIDAQmx ANSI C Example program: ContAcq-IntClk-EveryNSamplesEvent.c) to reproduce the issue.

Change detection does two things:
Reads digital input channels when a change occurs on a set of digital input lines.
Optionally provides a (non-periodic) trigger or clock for another task, such as digital output, analog input, analog output, or counters.
This secondary functionality is only useful when you want to detect changes on multiple input lines and treat them as if they are the same, or if you want the input lines to be sensitive to both rising and falling edges. Since you only want your digital output task to look at rising edges on a single line, you can use a PFI line instead of using change detection. The cDAQ-9172 supports PFI lines in slots 5 and 6, so move the NI 9421 to slot 5 or 6.

Okay, that partially explains what you're trying to do. How many samples do you want to output when the button is pressed?
If you want each button press to output one sample, then run "Write Dig Chan-Ext Clk.vi" with "Physical Channels" set to "cDAQ1Mod1/port0/line0:7" and "Clock Source" set to "/cDAQ1Mod5/PFI0" (with the NI 9421 in slot 5). Every time you press the button, the output will change once, assuming that the button is debounced.
If you want each button press to output a waveform containing many samples, then ideally you would be able to run "Write Dig Chan-Int Clk-Dig Start.vi", but this uses DIO triggering functionality that isn't supported by the cDAQ-9172. To emulate this functionality on the cDAQ-9172, you would need a combination of "Gen Dig Pulse-Finite-Dig Start.vi" and "Write Dig Chan-Ext Clk.vi". Start the DO task first because it will wait for the sample clock.
If the button is not debounced, you may also want to enable digital filtering on PFI0 (or build a debounce circuit). I don't know of a good example showing how to do this. Maybe someone else has an example to recommend?

when i am taking an export of a particular table , i got following message. please help
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kcfrbd_1], [0], [400], [], [], [], [], []
Export terminated successfully with warnings.

with out a versioninfo it's not possible tomgive appropiate information. Anyway, an ORA-00600 is almost certainly a job for the oracle support.
And lastly, the right forum for this question would be a database forum, maybe the Database-General-forum.

Exporting data in Applicationmanager fails with Error 10054

Hi all,when I try to export data via Applicationmanager the Application terminates immediately with an error message "can't read data - Error 10054 - network error" "can't write data - Error 10054 - network error" and sometimes with the errormessage "unable to allocate memory - Error 10054".We have an IBM server 340 with 1 GByte Ram, Harddisk Space for Hyperion about 3 GByte in RAID 1.Essbase 6.1.Does anybody know that problem???Help to solve that issue would be great. A couple of tips:1. Try stoping and restarting the application then try to export2. If that doesn't work try stopping and restarting the applicationa and the server and reconnecting then doing th eecport.3. Check to see that you have a good connection to the server. When you run an export you must maintain a connection to the server, if you lose it the ecport stops.4. If all else fails open Application Manager on the server itself and run the export from there.Hope this helps,CB

Java 5 Update 11(JRE) Installation gives "Internal Error 2762"

Hi,
I try to install Java 5 update 11 fom java.sun.com. During finish of Installation I get --"Internal Error 2762" popup with an "OK" button.
Running on Windows XP Professional, has previous installed java 5 update 10 on my system. Internet Explorer browser is running at install time.
Is there any workaround for this.

This is a Windows installer generated error message. Most of the times, continuing with installation by clicking on "OK" button will install the software without any issues. You can verify the installation by running the testvm applet from:
www.java.com/en/download/help/testvm.xml
Note: ensure to start a fresh browser session after installation is complete
In case, you still find the older version listed, write back with the install log. Instructions can be found at:
Download Windows offline installer - jre-1_5_0_11-windows-i586-p.exe to c:\
Run the installation again with logging turned on:

Export data to pdf file in ALBPM ?

Can anyone tell me how to export all my data that are rendered in a jsp file to a PDF file in ALBPM
i.e I want all my data that are there in jsp page, onclick of a button all those data will be printed/posted on a pdf file with a specified file name.

I have used the iText java library to create PDF files in ALBPM 5.7 and OBPM 10gr3. There is a bit of cut and paste programming involved, but it worked out great for us.
