Discrepancies 5800XM / Navigation Edition & TV Out...

I ( like others on here ) recently bought a Nokia 5800XM only to find it was missing the TV Out cable, case, spare stylus etc. I bought online and the website specs stated TV Out and cable supplied.
My phone came with some bizarre white earphones, but the manual has Navigation Edition printed on the front and is dated 2010.
However
On checking Nokias website, there is indeed a naviagation edition, but that comes with extras such as cradles for the phone.( which I didnt get either ).
Then checking further on Nokia's website, I find they sell the standard 5800 Xpress music with all the accessories that no longer are supposed to come with the phone ( details below )
So my questions are :
1) IF I buy a AV cable, will I be able to enable TV out ofrdoes my non-TV out phone have a special firmware ?
2) Are all 5800XM ( regardless of music or navigation ) being shipped with Navigation Edition user manuals ?
3) What do I have ?

Simple really you buy a product with whatever is listed by the retailer you buy from .
If the site you bought from not Nokai advertised TV out then you have been sold the goods that did not match the description .
Your specs are exactly the same as i bought except manual is 5800xm   and i have TV out but no comes with music . no spare stylus no carry case no stand .
But i got what was on the package contents   .
If the advert you bought from does not match what you bought then you want your money back .
If you bought something as described but you wanted /expected more thats the buyers fault not the sellers.

The link below shows all Comes With Music compatible phones. This does not mean that the phones automatically include a Comes With Music subscription. You have to check the box if there is a sticker that indicates the phone contains the subscription.

My 6070 navigation display blanks out after 5 seconds. Not enough for a 'silver surfer' I am not able to find the adjustment, and it is not in the handbook. Can anyone help. Many thanks

A reply from service would indicate this a feature of the 6070, back light being turned off. The time out cannot be altered. This feature is unsatisfactory as it times out too soon for slow fingers!

Moving the Digital Editions folder out of Documents

Hi Everyone,
I'm running Mac OS X 10.6.8 (snow leopard). Is there a way for me to move the Digital Editions folder out of my Documents folder without screwing up the software? (I'd like to put it in a separate folder where I keep all of my ebooks.)
It would be a big help if you have any suggestions.

You got the basic idea. I would:
Make sure you quit ADE
Copy your current Digital Editions folder to where you want it to be (important make it a copy) and maybe rename it if you don't want it to be called Digital Editions.
Rename the Digital Editions folder in your Documents folder to something like "Old Digital Editions"
Open up Terminal window and type ln -s (and add a space at the end)
Drag the folder that you created in step 2 onto the terminal window - this will add the full path onto the command line (ie the /Volumes/SecondDrive/ebooks/de above)
Type in a space and then "~/Documents/Digital\ Editions" without the double quotes into the terminal.
In a finder window make sure it worked by making sure there is now a "Digital Editions" folder that opens up to the folder you created in step 2.
Launch ADE and make sure it still works.

Editing In / Out Points in Audition Mac

I just downloaded Audition beta for the Mac today.
I do not want to use it for music. I want to edit a bunch of dialogue which is currently out of sequence, much the same way that I would assemble video sequences in Premiere.
Is this possible, and if so, is there a tutorial available on editing in & out points, and bringing the clips into the timeline?

You're probably better off posting in the dedicated Mac Audition forum at http://forums.adobe.com/community/labs/audition since those of us here are PC users and therefore not involved in the beta test. We can't guess how the new version of Audition differs from the one we use.
I'd be surprised if there were formal tutorials available yet though.

Problems with filling out/going back and editing filled out information and signing forms

Users cannot fully fill out, edit and save forms--
the forms were set up in InDesign CS6, then edited in Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 for all the form info and after that was set up the forms were saved as extended pdfs to allow adobe reader users to fill them out and sign.
The users are having all kinds of issues with the forms and its been difficult to pin point the exact cause.
Here are 2 errors:
This document enabled extended features in Adobe reader. This document has been changed since it was created and use of extended features is no longer available. Please contact the author for the original version of this document.
The security settings on this document prevent adding text and/or placing a signature on it from Adobe Reader. To fill out and sign this document you need to print it out.
---I've checked the security on the form and there is no security not allowing them to fill it out and I believe that originally they were able to but the form was saved and then they went back and were unable to edit it. I need to know if its something I need to do on my end or an instruction I need to give to them--steps to filling out and saving programs vesions to use etc..

Your user should go to Extended pane in Reader to apply a digital signature to the Reader extended PDF.
The user is probably trying to use the Sign pane in Reader which has some options disabled according to the document permissions. The new Sign pane in Reader is an integration with Adobe EchoSign service in the sense that it enables an end user to fill-up documents, electronically sign and then send a PDF document, without having the need to print them. The Sign pane provides two options to the user:
1 - Fill and Sign: Here the user can place text using 'Add Text'. Users can add arbitrary text to a PDF, eg. in documents where Reader cannot interact with the document even though the document looks like a form, in forms where user cannot save the filled-up form. In such cases the only option a user has is to print the form, fill it and then fax or fedex the filled up document to the author or scan it and send it electronically. Using the Sign pane in Reader, a user can add text and also electronically sign the document (this is not the same as digital signature) using an image of their signature. He can create a 'signature' from a scanned paper which has user's handwritten signature and place it on the PDF.
2 - Send for Signature: Here the user is sent to EchoSign for collecting signatures from others.

You will get that first message when the document has been changed in a way that invalidates the internal digital signature that's applied when a document is Reader-enabled. Certain changes are allowed (e.g., filling fields, commenting, signing) and will not invalidate the signature, but others are not. The exact cause of the change is often hard to track down, but it can be due to font problems, some type of file corruption, or something that Acrobat/Reader attempts to correct when the file is opened/saved. You will also get the message if the users system time is not correct and is currently set to some time before the document was Reader-enabled. It seems best to use the most recent version of Acrobat to enabled the documents and recent versions of Reader to work with them.
It problem is probably not related to the user using anything in the Sign pane.

While Navigating back Recieved out of Memory Exception: WHY?

i used JHEADSTART to built my Application. Major portion of the Application is Built now. when navigating back to the previous pages i have recieved this exception

when i again clicked on the link to open the same page it gave same exception i.e. JAVA HEAP SPACE with out f memory.........

Seems like your OC4J instance is running out of memory space.
Try starting it with more memory allocated to it.
(or if you only run into this after running your application inside JDeveloper several times - try to stop and restart the embedded OC4J).

IBolt dock w/ music and navigation enabled - Line out speaker glitch

This has happened 4 times since the JB update when in the car dock mode while cradled in the iBolt.
connection:
- cradled in iBolt dock
- connect line out to vehicle input jack
- enables car dock mode
steps:
- play a music app
- start navigation app
- proceed to destination
trigger:
- line out connection glitches when voice navigation speaks
symptoms:
- sound starts to come out of phone speakers and line out stops
- sound comes out of both phone speaker and line out simultaneously

I believe this problem is partially due to an improper reload I was just notified of. I have reset the timeouts to 70, and although I am still unsure as to why two of the phones reset to 10 (most likely causing this issue), the issue seems to be solved for the moment, hovwever I will keep this thread open to any suggestions in case this solution in fact does not solve the issue. The real test will be the business day tommorow .

How to edit people out using fillters?

I have video that I need to edit for a project how do I edit someones face and or body using the fillters in Final Cut Pro? I seen this technique used all the time on tv. I need to know how to do this because this is an very imoportant project and I do not want to edit out too much video because of a few people that do not want to be in the video.
I do not know what term is used, but the perosns face is blurd so you do not know who they are. Hope this helps explain what I want to do better.

You've got some experimenting to do!
Try copying the clip in question and pasting the copy to V2 above the original. Now add a Blur filter to V2. Adjust the amount of blur till it's the way you want it then crop track 2 till only the part of the video you want blurred is blurred.
That's the basics. Now you'll want to experiment with masks to get the shape you want and you may have to start playing with Motion Keyframes if your video is moving so that you can follow the guy you want to blur.
It's not really that hard but the only way you're really going to figure this out is to get out the manual and play till you get what you want.

can anyone help us out we editing html file on dreamweaver, but some file can not be edited due to be grey or locked ... not to unlock it please help really appreciated

If your page is mostly grayed out, it is most likely a child page created from a Template. You can only edit content within Editable Regions. Everything else is controlled by the main template.dwt file. For more info, hit F1 help and read about Dreamweaver Templates.

HI I have been using a very old product for years called Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.2, however it has locked me out of my old photos of my children. Does anyone know how to get in to access old photos as it is saying it is past registration timeframe.

Adobe 5.7 keeps crashing when editing/zooming out on a photo.

It freezes, and a "bezel" window opens up. I can't do anything, at this point, except shut down LR entirely and reopen. Thoughts?

Odd issue editing/checking out sites.

Hey everyone, I just created a couple sites in Sharepoint 2013 online and half have a weird issue were there title and description show up below where expected, and smaller. So, I tried to edit them and there's no option to check out the ones that
are weird.
I've been digging around for a while and I think there's something weird going on with the Site Pages thing. I'm not sure what the difference is but it looks like the ones that work have a Site Pages page the ones that are messed up don't.
I have some pictures but apparently can't upload so...
Any help would be much appreciated, I've run out of ideas and places to look for ideas!
