when you go to default browser of this phone (nokia c5-00 3.2 mega pixel version) i.e. Options>>Settings>>Page

there comes a tab saying 'default encoding'. Can any change to this setting help faster loading of web page. And let us discuss other settings to increase browser speed. Because i like default browser more than other third party products.

And also tell how to open new tab in this default browser. It only opens while any site open link in new tab. But tell me how to do this manually?

it should be so, that the Flash Player (up to the latest
release) that for the RTMPT mode the player should use the http
methods of the browser.
Using the http methods of the browser means, that it should
honour also the Proxy Server Settings of the Browser (it doesn't
matter if that is firefox or internet explorer).
We tested that with our own application, but it looks like,
that flash player in rtmtp net connection mode doesn't honour the
browser settings or using the http browser methods.
It looks more like that, that it creates a self made tcp
socket connection to the fms server, which is correct when you are
not using rtmpt, but according to your documentation, it's not.
Please advice me, how to reach a FMS via a simple (i.e.
Squid) Proxy on port (i.e.) 8080 which is being set in the browsers
settings.
And I don't think the Flash Player is just for private
customers who are using the internet without any proxies.

Make sure Private Browsing is off.
Tap "Private" on Safari Screen to disable Private Browsing. When top of screen is white, Private Browsing is off.

WRT54G v8: Unable to change some settings via the browser interface

I have a WRT54G V8 router which I'm trying to set up as a wireless access point.
I purchased it some time ago and flashed the firmware to version 8.00.2. I see there
is a newer firmware version available, and I'm going to try flashing that to see if it
helps, but wanted to ask here first.
The problem is that when I connect to the router using a web browser, I can see
the administration pages, and even change most settings, but some settings
just snap back to their previous values.
For example, I go to Setup -> Advanced Routing, and change Operating Mode
from Gateway to Router. When I do, I see it changes to Router, then I see it
talking to the HTTP server, and then it changes back to Gateway.
This also happens in other areas, like trying to enable MAC address filtering -
it won't let me enable it, and the Security Mode setting (under Wireless -> Wireless
Security) - It won't let me select WPA2 Personal, among others.
Note that I've had this router for a while, but decided to change how it was configured
today, so I started by pressing and holding the reset button for >5sec to reset it to
factory defaults and went from there.
I'm assuming there must be some settings which are preventing these from taking,
but I can't imagine any setting which should prevent me from enabling the MAC
address filtering.
Just in case this matters, I have the router connected to my in-home network using
one of the 4 Ethernet ports, and don't have anything plugged into the Internet port.
Also, I have turned off the DHCP server, and assigned a static IP address to the
router. This is the IP I'm using to connect to the router's administrative pages via
a browser running on one of the other PCs on my in-home network.
The wireless access point is working, in that I can connect to my in-home network
with my wireless client (laptop).
Can anyone help me understand what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks, Yes, I did reset the router. Just to clarify:
- I was having the problem where making changes to some settings would cause the settings to revert back to the original settings. In fact, the settings would switch back before I would have a chance to click on the Save Settings button. Clicking on the button after the settings changed back, of course, saved the original setting. For example, I would click on a drop-down control to change a setting, see the browser communicate with the HTTP server, then the drop-down would just snap back to the original value. It wouldn't allow me to change it to a different value.
- I reset the router, including holding the reset button for >5 seconds to force a full-reset. This didn't help.
- I attempted to update the firmware with the latest version for my router (yes, I double-checked that I had the correct version for my router/version). This failed with a strange message and required that I do another reset of the router.
It was after this failed attempt at the update that the problem went away. Now, I am able to change these particular settings and the changes stick.
At this point, I updated the firmware to the latest version and it worked. After this, I am still able to make all the necessary setting changes and the router is performing as I need.

How do you gain access to the adobe Flash player settings? For example to select Display or Privacy or Microphone or Camera.
On desktop it's done with a right click on the flash object on the page and select Settings...

Right click + settings crashes every browser

Recently I've noticed that when I right click on any flash
player thing and try to go to my settings to adjust allowed memory
or something like that, the browser always crashes. I've tried this
in Safari, Firefox, Opera- the same result every time. The same
thing happens if I try to go to the flash player security page.
It's infuriating because I can't adjust my security to allow some
important things to work for me. Does anyone have a solution?
I'm running an intel mac, btw.

Looks to me like it is choking on an old Contextual Menu item. If you did an upgrade install you probably have some old Contextual Menu items lying around that aren't working in Leopard. Try removing all the items in
"/Users/yourname/Library/Contextual Menu Items"
See if that fixes the problem. If it does, go the sites where you got the originals and see if the site has a version that is listed as Leopard compatible and download and install that version. If there is no Leopard version don't use the Contextual Menu item.
If you are still having problems, there are other locations for CMs:
"/Library/Contextual Menu Items"
"/System/Library/Contextual Menu Items"
I don't have any in the /Library/CM folder, and have three from Apple in the /System/Library/CM folder.

Discussion settings KM/COLL P5 HF4

Hello,
I'm currently using EP6 SP2 with the P5 HF4 version of Collaboration and KM. I was experimenting a bit with the commands and UI settings for the discussion, and have somehow managed to end up getting an exception when I try to view the posts in a discussion...
Could someone please copy/paste default (or working) settings for the UI Command Groups for the Discussion on patch 5?
You can get these by going to System Administration -> System configuration -> Knowledge Management -> Configuration -> Content Management -> User Interface -> Commands
You can then filter on 'Disc' (note the capital D, the filter is case-sensitive). This filter results in about 2 pages of command groups. It would be really helpful if someone could copy the contents of these 2 pages (so the table listing 'Alias Bundle File Command Icon Path Description Key for Label Key for Tooltip Commands List Parameters Java Class').

For settings, under private browsing, what is the difference between enbling and disabling cookies, aren't they going to be deleted anyway?

under private browsing, browsing history, cookies and etc will be deleted after private browsing is over.
however, for settings of privacy we can set private browsing as default. there are still some options below that we can choose to accept cookies from sites. does it make any sense? cookies are going to be deleted anyway after private browsing is over.

Cookies in Private Browsing work just like in normal mode, so you can still set allow and block exceptions for domains and disable third-party cookies.<br />
Only cookies aren't saved to disk in cookies.sqlite and they expire if you end the Private Browsing session, so all cookies are effectively session cookies.

I have Windows 7 with classic desktop display settings. My browser window is displaying in the system scheme, even though I have "Use system colors" unchecked and "Allow pages to choose their own colors..." checked.

This is interfering with my browsing, as some text, images and links are obscured by the solid background. I could, of course, use the modern "Aero" theme but it would be much better to be able to use the display settings that I prefer.

That's a painful example. I don't have access to Windows 8/8.1 myself, but I suspect this is by design, as I have seen other screenshots from users using high contrast dark themes that did not have background colors and images.

The testing (and a comment in the patch) refers to solving a problem on Windows 7, but apparently Windows 8 also was affected.
I don't know whether there is a workaround to tweak what is and isn't displayed in the page with a high contrast theme.

Additional Details:
When I go to: Tools --> Options.. --> Content --> Default Font.
Then the list doesn't contain the wanted fonts.
