Disk Installation CS6 Master

I cannot find the set-up files to install the entire collection on disks 1,2,3. Auto-run is set in Windows7. None of the disks (3) have an overall install routine for ALL programs. Also cannot find link to directly contact customer support chat. Seems as though Adobe dosen't value its customers after receiving payment!

Install your software
Install a Creative Suite 6 suite or standalone product from disc
Locate all installation media and serial numbers before you begin the installation process.
Before you begin, close all applications, including your web browser. Make sure you have administrative privileges or can validate as an administrator.
If you are installing as an upgrade, the installer will check your system to find the valid upgrade product. If it cannot find it, it will ask you to input the serial number of the product being upgraded. You can also install the software in trial, then input your new and previous serial numbers in the serialization screen shown during launch.
1. Insert the Adobe Creative Suite 6 suite or standalone product Application DVD into your DVD drive.
2. Double-click Set-up.exe (Windows) -- does not automatically launch --  or Install.app (Mac OS) to begin the installation
Note: Depending on your Autoplay settings in Windows, the Set-up.exe file may launch automatically.
3. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation.
4. When prompted to enter a serial number, enter your Adobe Creative Suite 6 suite or standalone product serial number and complete the installation.
5. You must accept the license agreement and warranty terms to use this product. See www.adobe.com/go/eulas for details. This product will not function without mandatory activation and registration via the Internet. See www.adobe.com/go/activation for details.
Adobe's single user license allows installation of a single product license on two machines (such as one work machine and one home machine) provided the software is used by the same individual and not concurrently on both machines.
Note: If you want to install the product on a third computer, you must first deactivate the software on one computer. To deactivate, choose Help > Deactivate.
Note: You may be asked to close conflicting processes in order to complete the installation. For more information on how to do this, go to http://www.adobe.com/go/learn_bgprocesses
If your product is on multiple discs, please wait for first disc to complete. Once completed, remove the first disc and insert the second disc in same DVD drive.

Note: In order to install additional components or reinstall your software after your original installation, you will need access to the original installer (disc or the download from the web). Repair is not an available option.
Just in case you're interested, the download link that you so helpfully provided takes about 2 hrs to download! I'm absolutely thrilled that I purchased a product that has no active support, provides no linke for this most basic question, and has no on-line support in the Western Hemisphere or anywhere for clients that paid for the priviledge of being actively ignored.

    first, rename OOBE Folder to OOBE.old.
    to find OOBE:
    64 bit win OS: Program Files x86\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE
    32 bit win OS: Program Files \Common Files\Adobe\OOBE
    mac os: HD>library>application support>adobe>caps
    mac os: USER>library>application support>adobe>OOB
    if that fails or isn't the exact error you see, uninstall, clean (http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html) and reinstall.
    if you're using a dvd to install:
    copy the disc contents to a desktop directory and install from that directory.
    if you're using a mac:
    1. Try to Create a new user account in Mac with Administrator Priviledges.
    2. Login to the New user, Navigate to Mac HD> Application> Utilities> Adobe Installer folder, Locate products like Adobe Reader, Adobe Flash, Adobe Air and un-install them
    3. Navigate to User Library> Application Support> Adobe and move Adobe to Trash.
    4. Navigate to Mac HD> Library> Application Support> Adobe and move Adobe to Trash.
    5. Start the installation again.

  • Urgent Support Request! - Adobe CS6 Master Collection - Please Insert Disk

    Our company has downloaded Adobe CS6 Master Collection for deployment on our master image this year.
    When attempting to install using the files that we downloaded and ran off the hard drive the set up says "Please Insert Disk", this shouldn't be necessary as I have all the required files to install on my computer already.
    I need a solution quickly to this as I have to get this master image completed and deployed within the next week or two and I have hundreds of machines to do it on.
    It is a clean install and therefore there are no compatibility issues with previous programs, I have tried looking for the installs of the individual programs themselves in the folders to no avail, I had a similar problem with Autodesk products which I solved by installing the trial version then upgrading it to the full version immediately after install. I have not tried that with this problem yet as I'm sure there is a more efficient way to solve the issue. At least I hope there is. Please get back to me as soon as possible with this because I'm required to get this sorted within a very tight deadline.

  • Problems with the CS6 Master Collection disk image (invalid checksum)

    I have problems downloading the trial for CS6 Master Collection for MacOS X.
    I've tried downloading using the Download Assistant, both as a privileged and an unprivileged user, and have also tried the direct download as both privileged and unprivileged. Each time I've waited until the download was complete before trying to install, but every time the disk image fails to open, complaining of an "invalid checksum".
    I've tried mounting the disk image without validating the checksum, but while I can then run the installer, the installation fails due to lack of privileges – again, this is regardsless of user privileges. I've also tried deleting the preferences and cache-files for Download Assistant, but to no avail.
    Can anyone confirm that the english version of the CS6 Master Collecion disk image is working and can be mounted without error on MacOS X 10.7? I have now downloaded and re-downloaded the disk image at least eight times, and while I have a fast Internet-connection, this is getting tedious.

    I just downloaded the DMG from Adobe.com using the trial and it mounts fine. I was able to start the installation.
    I did not get a checksum error or any other error.

  • Mac - Installer failed to initialize. (etc) HELP! I can't install the CS6 Master Collection Suite.

    When I begin the installation for the CS6 Master Collection, I get an effor saying, "We've encountered the following issues" and below it says, "Installer failed to initialize. Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem." I have already downloaded it, and it didn't help at all. I've tried repairing disk permissions and rebooting, but nothing yet. I have a Mac, and this is my first time installing ANY adobe products on it besides air and flash (of course).

  • CS6 Master Collection installer constant fail

    I purchased CS6 Master Collection and, to save download time, the reseller (iSoftware) burnt it to disk for me. All four folders are now in a single folder on my desktop. I've tried "setup.exe" multiple times (in part 1) and the installer always fails at the same point.
    Yesterday I replaced Vista Business 64-bit with Win7 64-bit - same problem every time. The PDApp log states:
    [FATAL] DWANative - Error in mdbGetProductIDList 12
    .102 [FATAL] DeploymentNativeApplet The start applet did not return the result xml. StartApplet returned <error>Failed to open session</error>
    .102 [FATAL] Deployment.FetchMediaInformation Error in starting deployment native applet
    In case the DVD was faulty and was corrupt or missing a file I have also downloaded a replacement copy of part 1 from iSoftware - same result.
    Computer: PC - HP xw6400 Workstation
    Processors: 2 x Intel Xenon CPU E5345 - quad core with 8GB RAM
    OS : Win 7 64-bit
    I've run out of ideas and places to research. Where do I go from here?  All help gratefully received.

    I recently purchased CS6 Master Suite and would like to make a backup of the downloaded installer, it is 8.37 GB, file is too large for DVD R and my server.  What other options are there for me to get multiple install disk for different departments at our school.  Thank you for your help.

    i would not recommend that.  there are ways to package any large file into several chunks, but that's just adding more potential for problems.
    harddrive space is so inexpensive even if purchased, it's not worthwhile.  plus, many people have spare harddrives in unused computers that are easy to connect to a main computer and use as auxiliary storage.

    It's been stuck on "(92%) about 5 minutes remaining" for a few hours.
    I hit 'cancel' but all that did is disable the button. At first I didn't want to open my browser up (to avoid interference with the installation), but after a while of waiting I decided to seek help on the web.
    The stage of the installation right now is titled "Installing Adobe Acrobat X Pro".
    I'm running OS X 10.8 and I currently have CS5 installed, but no applications open.
    I could kill the process (Adobe Application Manager), but I didn't want to do this at first so as not to leave a mess of a semi-complete installation.
    EDIT:
    So I force quit the installer and restarted my machine. I have part of CS6, but some applications are missing, like InDesign and Acrobat X.
    Would the best course of action be uninstalling and reinstalling, or just running the installer a second time?

    an update on this would be nice. Having the same problem installing the CS6 on 10.8. I'm now doing my second attempt on installing the collection without the acrobat X pro

    I had my entire CS6 Master Collection installed and activated with Adobe servers - but main drive died.
    Now I have a newly formatted drive with a fresh Win7 installation on it. I wish to re-install my entire CS6 collection again.
    As far as I recall, we have to DEACTIVATE all our installed softwares BEFORE activating any newer installations?
    If so, since I did not de-activate the softwares from my dead drive (which I cannot access now anyway) - how can I de-activate it now? I see no option to do so on my online account.
    Can anyone advise please.

    You are allowed to have two activated installations, so if you are waiting for the weekend to pass to get their attention, you can install and activate as long as you only had the one activation used so far.  When they reset the activations you can reactivate again afterwards (or deactivate the new one yourself ahead of chatting with them).

    Thanks for commenting. My fundamental problem was that I was saving the download to the wrong place. Unfortunately there was no default option as to where to save it to-but after some trial and error and after saving the download to the Users folder everything is working perfectly and I'm happily enjoying CS6 master suite. I'm sure this is a common user error but due to the fact that I wasn't prompted with a default choice for saving the download I had some initial difficulties.
