Disk space and app store error

Tried to download apps from app store on iPod touch 4, but no disk space, so I deleted some apps and videos, then checked 'about' section in my settings, memory still at 0 bytes. Rebooted ipod, now can't even download apps cos I click on 'free' button in app store then it turns to 'install' button, then click it to install and the button goes back to 'free'. Tried updating some not updated apps but app store did not respond. Disk space still at 0 bytes. What do I do?

- I do not know what rebooting is. It is not defined in the manual. Have you reset the iPod:
Reset iPod touch: Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Next try syncing with the computer
- Follow that by restoring from backup if still problem.
- Last, retore the iPOd to factoery defaults.
If you look at how capacity is distributed for the iPod storage, that might help. To find the distribution, go to the Summaray pane for the iPod in iTunes. If the "other" caetgory is high, a restore is requird to bring it down. Sometimes a restore to factoery defaults/new iPod is required.

I recently had my computer serviced. I re-downloaded Thunderbird (getting a newer version), and retrieved my saved email. Now, Thunderbird keeps asking me to compact, but when I do, I get this error message:

Obviously, since I'm getting mail all the time, I have write privileges, and disk space. The question is whether there's a setting I need to specify, or whether Thunderbird is writing to a special partition that may have gotten write-protected when my computer was in the hospital - or whether this is related to a known bug.

The only know bug I can see is probably your anti virus is trying to scan the file when the new inbox is created leaving Thunderbird to think the file was not created.
As an experimental / diagnostic process. Restart the machine in safe mode with networking using Microsoft instructions for [http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/start-computer-safe-mode#start-computer-safe-mode=windows-7 Windows 7] then try the compact. If it works I was most likely right. If it does not, another idea must surface.

I am not sure what you mean by "Flash Player for steam"; the only Flash Player installers I know is the ActiveX (for Internet Explorer) and the plugin (for other browsers); you can find both at http://helpx.adobe.com/content/help/en/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player- windows.html#main-pars_header

Creative Suite 5.5 Production Premium Disk space and Permission Errors

Win7 clean install, Dual Core 3.0, 4gigs ram, Audigy Sound Card, nvidia 8800 GT video card, 600 gig HD space, no anti virus, no firewall, no other programs installed.
Download manager and alteritive method both result in extration error " A problem occured while extracting some files. Check avaibile diskm space on your computer and write priveleges on destination folder ". A whole week of trying to sort this out but no joy. Adobe tech says D/L file directly to C: trying that now but has anyone else had this problem? Thanks

D/L from another location and onto different computer, extracted the
file with Winrar from the root drive not from a user account and Bingo
not corrupt files.Then moved then to the host machine and installation
work perfectly. That took a week and a bit to figure and I hope
others can benefit from my experience. ( In Adobe Ninerva now ! )

LR 5.5 upgrade. I only get the the 32 bit set up and an error when the 64 bit set up should be created. It says not enough disk space and no access to write. The disk space is ok and the 32 bit file was indeed created.

Hi Rob, Thanks for your input. The temp location is on the C drive with 228 GB free space. My other drives have 123 GB and 204 GB of free space. I can see how the 32 bit set up is perfectly extracted when it stops when coming to the 64 bit set up. I have done the exercise several times and also made new downloads. I am using Norton 360 and Malwarebytes anti-malware but the dowload from Adobe should be trusted.

I cannot conect to APP Store. I upgraded to IOS 8.3 and APP Store has not worked since. I am being asked to tipe my user name /password and nothing happens afterwards. No error messages either.

APP Store error 100

This is quite annoying and seems like I am not alone.
Am waiting on a Support call. I upgraded to Lion through App Store and iWork '09 and PhotoShop Elements stopped working. Then I used App store to purchased Pages. I was happy as a clam that all was going smoothly and I would not need to worry about install disks again.
Then tried to purchase Aperture. That's when problem started. I made sure all info in my Apple Store and Apple Account and Apple ID was correct. I logged in and out, started and restarted my iMac. Deleted and tried another credit card, tried Pay Pal. Tried going into Pay Pal to confirm iTunes authorization.Tried reentering original credit card. Tried updating my Account in iTunes. Tried deleting all library caches. Tried all again on another Mac computer that had SL. Tried waiting 24 hours to see if App Store would accept. Tried using the same credit card at another site (Amazon) to confirm the credit card wasn't locked by my bank.
So now I have Lion, can't do Christmas projects w/o photo editing software on my desktop and can't update through Apple online. This has turned into a bummer. Spending HOURS in my Apple Acount and App Store and researching Apple Help and Forums and trying everything and getting nowhere. Thankfully I have a MBA that is struggling earnestly to do video and photo editing- something it was not made to do.
I may reinstall SL in my IMac when I get done with my Christmas Projects today. And get back the use of all the applications that no longer work under Lion. That means that Apple will lose sales since I will not be updating the applications that I would gladly have purchased if the App Store had worked as it should. But my contribution to potential sales is a mere pittance, not something that Appple takes very seriously or they would have fixed this problem long ago.
Will see what Support can offer...

i found this from the site:
Exchange 2007 has active sync policies. One of the options is to disallow the camera.
To resolve the problem do the following.
1) Open Exchange Management Console
2) Click "Organization Configuration"
3) Click "Client Access"
4) On the right you should see your active sync policies. Right click the policy and chose "Properties"
5) Click the "Device" tab
6) Check "Allow camera"

Low Res Safari and App Store Dock Icons

After upgrading Safari to v5.1.4 earlier today I've noticed that the Safari and App Store icons on the dock are pixelated, i.e., low resolution. Has anyone else seen this problem? The Disk Utility icon also shows the same behavior.

Might be corrupted preferences...
Go to ~/Library/Preferences
Move the com.apple.dock.plist file from the Preferences folder to the Trash.
Restart your Mac.
~ (Tilde) character represents the Home folder.
For Lion: To find the Home folder in OS X Lion, open the Finder, hold the Option key, and choose Go > Library

Internet on all apps except Safari and App Store?

I got a question. I just bought an iPhone yesterday (before this I had Blackberry, but it broke for the second time already). All things work, got my apps installed and stuff like that. Now the problem is:
Whenever i am NOT on Wi-Fi but i'm on the mobile network there is a problem. I can not connect to the App Store, Safari or YouTube. In YouTube and App Store I get an error message that it can not connect. But in Safari it loads for two seconds, finishes loading but the page stays white (it doesn't matter which site I try to open).
Is anyone familiair with this problem? A lot of people say that it is the network settings. But may i add: i STILL can acces Twitter, FaceBook and stuff like that. Also WhatsApp works normally. Only Safari/App Store/YouTube won't under 3G/GSM network.

Oh BTW. I bought an iPhone 4, 16 GB. It is new and running OS 5.0.1 (I updated).
Some of the solutions I tried:
- resetting network settings
- resetting all settings
- resetting the whole phone (to the point as I bought it just two seconds ago)
- resetting (the home button, lock button method)
- putting in the network settings manually

I did try that one. But for some reason it still does not help. The strange thing stays that I can acces Twitter and other Apps. But still nos Safari/App Store. Only when I am on Wi-Fi.

It started when tryung to update Twitter. Now the problem is with every app I try to update or download.

I have this issue as well. The App Store icon indicates there are updates available but when I open the app a popup says it can't connect to the store and the screen remains white. I have tried a hard reset (power & home button) and several other suggestions I have found throughout the forums here without success.
