Disk works fine on iBook, but appears as a new unwritten disk on a Mac Mini.
I have a DVD with several flash apps that when inserted in an iBook G4 works fine, but when inserted in a Mac Mini is shown as a new blank unwritten disk. What could be causing this? I would like to view the content on my newer 2007 Mini but currently can't.
Ok, I kinda goofed. This is auctally a CD-R as reported by disk utility, not a DVD. The problem still is still here though.

Airport Express works fine with iBook but isn't seen by Dell laptop
I have an Airport Express connected to the internet which is automatically recognized by my iBook & works fine. My roomate has a dell laptop running Windows XP and it doesn't recognize the network. In other words usually when the wireless card recognizes a network it pops up in the taskbar and it isn't with the airport. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Most modems tend to "remember" the last device connected to it, so it's important to do a complete power-down/power-up when switching devices. It's possible that your modem did this when you attempted to connect the PC directly. My purpose of having you connect the PC directly was to verify that it can access the Internet with a wired connection and that it's wireless setting needs to be troubleshot further.
The power recycle process should be something like the following:
- Power-off the modem & AX; If possible, leave the modem off overnight.
- Power-on the modem; Wait at least 30 minutes.
- Power-on the AX; Wait at least 5 minutes. -
I am trying to download and install itunes on windows 7. The download works fine and it appears that the install works fine as well but when it finishes itunes is nowhere to be found. I am in Mexico. Please help. Thanks

How do I get my Macbook Pro and iphone 5 to sync calendars in 2014? It worked fine in 2013, but the 2014 dates are blank on my Macbook. The all icloud is checked on my phone and the enable icloud account and push are selected on the Macbook.

If not, go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Calendar (in the Calendars section) and make sure you have selected an iCloud calendar as your default. If you haven't, make this change, then add a new event on your iPhone calendar and see if appears on icloud.com and your Mac now.

I’m having an intermittent problem with my midi controllers triggering Mainstage 3.
I’m using a PreSonus Firebox audio interface.
It’s been working fine for months, but now when I first turn on the computer in the morning , I’m not able to trigger MainStage from the keyboard. I tried different midi controllers, different keyboards, different midi cords, and check midi preferences. The audio interface is working fine and is recogonized, but the midi doesn’twork. I re-started the computer several times and then finally it miraculously starts working again.
I’ve been having to this every day now. Any help or ideas is very much appreciated.I Had the same problem with a FireStudio. Try unplugging the FireWire plug and the power plug. Wait for a few seconds, then plug both back in. The light on my FireStudio was flashing blue/red which means "not connecting." I did what I just described, and everything works again. Hope it works for you.

ITunes/Apple Mobile Device works fine w/iPod but not iPad
Hi. I'm getting stuck on this and would like some help to solving this problem. Basically I'm trying to sync my iPad; however, whenever I connect it, this meesage pops up: "this iPad cannot be used because the Apple Mobile Device is not started." The problem is that when I try to plug in an iPod using the same wire, it works fine, no problem, but the iPad just won't connect. I have since uninstall and reinstall all Apple components (iTunes, AMD, QuickTime, etc) and it's still the same thing...iTunes connects fine w/ the iPod, but not the iPad. What to do? Thnx in advance.

Btw, I've tried to connect the iPad while the iPod is connected, and the "Apple Mobile Device is not started" error message pops up too, which is weird, because the iPod is connected and syncing at that time...which means the Apple Mobile Device thing IS started. >.>The iOS devices use Apple Mobile Device Service, while older iPods use the iPod Service.

My ipad2 was working fine last night, but this morning when I woke it up... it no longer was connected to my network. While it can detect networks, it cannot connect to any (have tried at home and at work). I have tried: resetting router, resetting ipad, forgetting network, renewing lease on network, ensuring airplane mode is off, resetting network settings, turning wifi on/off. None of the typical solutions I can find online seem to work. HELP!

I am having a query which contains large number of When clauses inside a case statement.
The Same SQL is working fine in 9i, but not working in 10G.
If we try to remove one of the When clause in the query, its working fine else it is giving the error ORA-00939 Too many arguments for functions.
Can any one tell me the solution for this and what is the maximum number of when clauses allowed inside case statemen in oracle 10g.

Same Query (as used in cursor c1) works fine in toad but giving wrong result from forms... and the problem is xaq field i.e returns incorrect qty...
i guess union clause is not working in this situation...

Fixed div that floats right works fine in IE but floats left in other browsers
I have a div that I want to float right and have remain in that position as a user strolls down the screen. I set the position to fixed which works fine in IE8 but when I view it in other browsers (chrome, safari, firefox) the div does stay in position but it floats to the left.
I believe it's just a simple setting that I'm not familiar with.

(You must look manually because SpotLight does not find it.)
Double click the "iSight Updater" there to run the Firmware update manually.

iSight "Product Revision Level" in your Mac's System Profiler shows the installed firmware version for external (Firewire) iSight.
Firmware 1.0.3 Update offers only "Improved audio performance". It does NOT enable audio or any other function, so that is NOT your problem with Skype or YMM. Search or post in their dedicated help/discussions for best and quickest help with those specific, non-Apple apps.
Regardless of whether System Profiler utility shows Firewire iSight's Firmware (Product) level of 1.0.2 or 1.0.3, external iSight ought to work. You can test your external iSight using the suggestions on this linked page:

My HTML code works fine in IE8 but pages "jump" slightly to the right and left in Firefox

I have already restored my phone to the newest software and also completely uninstalled itunes and re downloaded it.Basic troubleshooting steps clearly outlined in the User Guide are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new device.
If you have gone through ALL the above steps and are still having problems, then you'll need to bring your phone into Apple for evaluation.
