Dislay problem G4

Hi
I have normal Apple display in my G4 after I open it and add new Memory Ram, display change from normal to old look, i check in option and there is nothing about change it back. How to fix it, I know there is CD that replace display form older display to modern new

Open the Mac and pull out the RAM you just installed. If the screen goes back to the way it was before, then you probably have the wrong RAM installed or deffective RAM installed.
The act of installing more RAM in a Mac should not have any affect whatsoever like you describe. The only affect you should see from installing more memory is that it should run faster under certain conditions and also when you do "About This Mac" under the Apple menu you should see a greater amount of RAM is installed. Other than that, there should not be any other change to the computer.

IOS 6 bug - countdown timer

I just upgraded my iPhone 4 to iOS 6 and found a strange bug: when setting the system time format to 12-hour time, then open Clock - Timer, if I set the timer's countdown duration longer then 1 hour, after starting, the timer displays the countdown time in a very strange style (see the attached screenshot). But after setting the system time format back to 24-hour time, this timer's dislay problem disappeared. Really weird bug.

I too have this on my iPhone 4S, I am in the UK, and I like to have the 12 hour setting for my time, but when this is the case I get the same strange problem as QQ as shown, ALSO... I believe if I run the Stopwatch and it goes over an hour then the display goes strange in the same way. Apple feel free to contact me, so I can help you resolve this for iOS 6.0.x.

Problem dislaying an Informix LVARCHAR field in Crystal Reports

I am creating a report using Crystal Reports XI from a BOXI Universe. The Universe is connecting to an Informix Dynamic Server 9.21 database. The Informix database contains a field which is a LVARCHAR data type. A LVARCHAR data type is one which allows the storing of more than 255 characters (up to 2KB).
When I attempt to place the LVARCHAR data type field onto my report, Crystal Reports displays no data in my report for most of the other fields, and all the formulas return invalid results. If I go into the Informix database and change the LVARCHAR field to CHAR (255) field, the Crystal Report will run with no problems.
Does anyone know if Crystal Reports can support the displaying of fields from the database, which are greater than 255 characters?
Also, I have created a Crystal Report which uses the same Informix data source using an ODBC connection and the LVARCHAR field caused the entire report not to display. By changing the field from LVARCHAR to CHAR (255) the report runs fine.

I don't remember where I read it, but the field limit is 255 characters. Unless that has changed in CR 2008

Problem in Pricing Formula

Hi,
For specifyic condition types, i need the condition values to be displayed always in 'INR', i have created a formula routine for this and assigned to my pricing procedure .
structures i am changing are XKOMV and KOMK.
using 'CONVERT_TO_LOCAL_CURRENCY' i am converting the amount
( xkomv-kwert ) into indian currency value and for currency key
i have passed 'INR' to komk-waerk field
here i am facing 2 problems, after coming out of my include xkomv-kwert is getting overridden by old value in some other include, hence i am getting the same old value on the screen and currecny key is getting dislayed as 'INR' for all the records not just only for my condition type.
Can you pls correct me if what is done by me is wrong

An amount in local currency is calculated from a specified foreign currency amount. For this, you may either specify the translation rate manually (Parameter RATE) or have the system determine it from table TCURR on the basis of the rate type, date and currency key. Because the ratios for the units of the currencies involved in the translation are significant for this translation, table TCURF is always read by the program, and there must be a valid entry there for the data specified. IF exchange rate fixing is defined for the exchange rate type TYPE_OF_RATE or an alternative exchange rate is defined for the currency pair, this information is transferred to the calling program.
When table TCURR is read, the foreign currency key is always taken as the first part of the key and the local currency as the second part.
or you can also do the manual conversion by taking the exchange rate from table TCURR for the particular date and multiply this exchage rate to foreign amount then to get the amount in local currency.

I have a problem with ALV Grid User Command?

Hi Experts,
I have a problem with ALV GRID User Command.
I am calling TCODE IW33 (Order Display) from the ALV output at first time by selecting an order. But, User command is calling IW33 Initial screen with blank value of order. Even I checked in debugging the value what I selected is passing properly, but once that screen (IW33 Initial) displays, value doesn't appear. Then, Manually, I created another session and gone to TCODE IW33 and displayed an order. After that I came out from that order. Then again run my ALV program and selected another order, now order is displaying, but not what I selected current order instead of displaying previous order what I just displayed manually. If I selected any other order, system will display the same order what I dislayed manually.
Here is my code.

Problem in placing the EJB queries

I am working on the migration of an application from J2EE to SAP WAS.
The original application contains some EJB queries present in the file sun-j2ee-ri.xml.
Entery for one of the query is given below:

    can u create one more finderMethod in ur EJB?.
then that will be dislayed in the persistent.xml files.
u can select that findermethod from Query subtab , and write ur own queries there..
                  not sure , u can overwrite the standard finderMethod..

Display resolution problem when login

My screen dislay suddenly has resloution issue. l checked System Preference -> Display
and the resolution is set at 1280x800, which should be the correct settings. But the display still shows on lower resolution.
I reboot/shutdown, still the display is not display as 1280X800.
Then I logon with a different username, it works as normal.
Only time the display has issue is when I am using my username.
It is a MacBook Pro running OS X 10.7
Anyone running into similar problem? Please help.

Problem in leave workflow working in ESS

Dear All ,
I ahve modified standard workflow for leave WS12300111 . I have 2 levels of approval . The step which goes to approver is standard task TS12300097 which is calling DUMMY method of CL_PT_REQ_WF_ATTRIBS class .
Now my problem is suppose 100 people have applied for the leave after managers approval it workitem will go to HR . So in HR's UWL he/she will have 100 workitem . Now supose HR clicks on first workitem in by logging in to ESS . when HR clicks on pop-up comes on the top it has one table sort of thing , here all the 100 leave request r getting diplayed .
I want Table to dislay only the Leave request of an employee belonging to That workitem . Please help in this regard . This is very high priority issue .

Sorting problem PLZ Hellp Me

i had a problem to be solved but i am unable to get any idea on it
my problem is
i had some directiories with names as MONYEAR
i.e JAN2004,SEP2004,AUG2004 ,JUL2004 etc.............
these dirs are created programetically for storing that perticular months files in that dir only
now my problem is
i wan to dislay these DIRs in a sorted order according to MONYEAR order ie JAN2004,JUL2004,AUG2004,SEP2004 like that
i had no idea how to do it in a simple way
i was new to java
anybody could PLZ help me how to do it
if so plz provide me some sample code

Problem in CS03

hi to all,
In CS03 t-code,
I m providing Material no., Plant, Bom Usage and Alternative Bom,
then pressing enter ,
another screen is displayed, in which all the bom component are dislayed.
Now my problem is that all this component are coming from STPO table as per my knowledge.
But for some material when i m matching o/p of cs03 against table it is not matching.
Plz help me to find out that from where this componets are coming.
Or can anyone is able to give me the tables Related to the BOM.

Hi Dharmishta,
In such cases, you can "trace" the source of information by one of these two methods:
1. To check which all DB tables are being queried to get the pop up - and also analyze the query on the DB tables, you can start a SQL trace (ST05) on your user ID + transaction before you press enter in the CS03 screen. Once the pop up appears, stop the trace and display it. It will show you all the DB tables which have been accessed and you can also "explain" the queries. The where clauses might give you an idea of how the tables are being filtered, or which other tables are being queried there.
2. Switch on debug mode (/h in command box) and then press enter and place a break point on statement CALL FUNCTION. Normally, SAP would have encapsulated the code within a function module OR method for retrieving the popup details. Hence if this is the case, here then you can get the same and use it in your program.

UME and LDAP problems

Hi all!
I'm trying to configure my UME to a MS Active Dir Server...
I managed to display the users and groups - stored in the LDAP - in the useradmin GUI of the UME http://<server>:50000/useradmin.
The problem I have is the following:
the groups in the LDAP Directory Server have users as members. But in the GUI - when choosing a group and click maintain users - are not displayed.
In order to get the groups dislayed in the GUI I had to edit the configuration XML file. I guess there is a way to edit the XML config file to be able to see users as kind of childs of a group.
Any hint on this issue?

Post the LDAP path to your groups and users. Even though in LDAP the groups have members attached that doesn't mean you will see it that way in the UME gui. Are these the real user entries in LDAP or is this simply an attribute of the group?
Deep hierarchy implies groups are trees with the real user underneath and that no user will appear in multiple groups. Is that the way your LDAP is implemented?

Importing HDV QT movie problem

I am using Adobe Image Ready to convert a stream of still images into HDV 1080i 50 quicktime movies lasting only a few seconds each. I then want to combine a whole sequence of these into iMovie HD to ceate a longer movie. The problem is that when I import the Quicktime movie the width is compressed giving a black band down the left side of the screen and a distorted image.
The original still images are 1920 x 1080 pixels. It looks correct in Image Ready, and the exported movie looks ok when viewed in Quicktime Pro which gives the movie size as 1920 x 1080. The project size in iMovie is set to HDV1080i. I can even import the original stills into iMovie and they are dislayed correctly. I know I could create the whole thing in iMovie but Image Ready gives me other tools I would prefer to have access to.
Any thoughts anyone?

Tony... I know they are trying to help you here... give you a fish or give you a fishing pole...
But based on the other post you had here and the amount of 'splainin' we (I) had to do...
It would be helpful to us if you read the manual and did the tutorials.
That said. I just drag the clip from my FINDER to the NODE window in shake. But that just answers your question and doesn't address the issues you will still have by not knowing what question to even ask.

Video display problem

On my PC with Windows XP Pro, Flash Player 9, at least half
of the videos I'm viewing (mostly on CNN) are dislaying as blotches
of bright moving colors. I can't see enough definition to tell what
I'm watching. How can I correct this? Thanks for any help!
