Dismantle date in future
CAN i Have the dismantle date in future?is it possible for me to allow dismantling date to be in future .
There was a similar post some time back
Someone suggested a batch program to update the structure for a future date.
I guess it could work something like this:
1. Enter the data in a customer-specific table
2. Run customer-specific batch program each day
3. Program looks into the "Z" table to see if there is anything to dismantle today
4. If a records is found, then the structure is updated accordingly

Dear Gurus,
Please tell me why the system is giving the material confirmation date in future though the matl is available in stock.
System creating two schedule lines one for 15/10 (15 oct) and the second one with the confirmation of quantity on 22/11 (22 Nov) as I have enough stock than the required for this order. In MRP1 view of same matl Master of same material delivery planning time is 28 days. and in MRP3 view the Replenishment lead time is 20 days. please tell me what date system considering to shift the confirmation date in future. the factory calender has Sat-sunday off.
please tell me the possible reasons for confirmation date change.

Please check the value at MM03-> Sales: General plant Tab ->Availability Check is '02'.
u201802u2019 will consider all the u2018Individual Requirementsu2019 done before and during the creation of Sales order for the combination of respective Material & Plant.
Even though Material stock will be visible for you at MMBe for respective plant double click on the Quantity, it will show you multiple Row with one of it will be " On Order Stock" these are the other orders for which Quantity is already confirmed but respective PGI is not yet done.
The next schedule line date always generated based on the Factory calendar (based on Holidays/Weekly Offs if any).
AT MD04 Tcode, based on the selection made at Material master for Availability Check you could see all the requirements related to Goods Issue Sales Orders , STO & Production Orders for Goods receipts.

Function module to calculate date in future
Hi,
I am looking for a function module in SAP CRM 2007 that calculates and returns date 'n' days in future of the entered date. This is like the DATE_IN_FUTURE function modules present in SAP.

The issue has been resolved.
We can directly add the number of days in future to be calculated in the current date. In SAP, it directly converts number to date type and calculated date in future. -

I want to send a message to a queue with a delivery date in future.
A message driven bean shall consume this message, when this delivery date is reached.

there is no requirement to make this server specific by using this kind of feature(i.e. some kind of timer service) even if it exist. you can rather put the logic in MDB.
if the MDB is not in your hand(i.e. some prewritten code which you can't to modify), then you can have another MDB which accepts the message(on some other destination), waits till the future time and then resends the message to the destination on which your original MDB is listening to.

Usage lines got expired even end date is future date
Hi ,
We have Service Contract which Usage Line has been expired(status is in EXPIRED) even its end date is future date.
Other Usage lines and Service Lines are in Active status.
When I checked the lines through backend,we identified that it was updated by program
Contract Status Change by Range..
But as per program logic,it should not update the status of Usage line which end date is future date.
Is there any way to update the end date of the Usage line to date which is less than sysdate then make it expire and then update it back to original end date of usage line(future date)
Could anyone let me know if there is any provision or possibility.

Satya340YOu can not create data that does not exist.
You will need to add in a table which has all dates and make that you first table with all other data joined with a left out from this date table.

File Modifications Date as Future date

I am creating Installer from PackageMaker for java Application. Windows Installer is done. "LOCALES.jar " file holding future date in 2040 .You can see it from the screen shot. But same file when i transfer to mac it doesnt stay that date. is there any way assign the future date for perticuler file. I tried to change the computer date and do the modifications . But seems like it does not correct way. in windows the developer changed the computer date and it holding the that date in future "2040".

Dismantling date for Equipments
Hi Experts,
How to capture dismantling date for an Equipment under a given functional location.I want to get the history of equipment for a given functional location ie when the equipment is assigned to that functional location.

Valid from date & Valid to date will get changed once you change your installation location.
For example, equipment 1 has been created on 16.02.2003.
So Valid from date would be 16.02.2003 & Valid to Date would be 31.12.9999.
it has been installed in FL1 on 23.05.2005.
So Valid from date would be 23.05.2005 & Valid to Date would be 31.12.9999.
Then Equipment 1 has been dismantled from FL 1 & installed in FL 2 on 12.08.2008, then Valid from date will get changed to 12.08.2008 & valid to date will be same (31.12.9999).
If you see in Usage list, you can see 3 rows.
First row: FL 2 with 12.08.2008 & 31.12.9999
2nd Row: FL 1 with 23.05.2005 & 12.08.2008
3rd Row: Empty FL with 16.02.2003 & 23.05.2005.
Valid from date will not be same if you change your installation location. Only start up date can be same till the equipment is getting scrapped.

Delivery schedules delivery date in future-GR
Hi all,
For the Me38 Maintain delivery schedules, we will maintain delivery date and schedule details.
We can make GR for the current and past date through MIGO. But when we try for future delivery date, it will show no selectable items in MIGO with reference to the scheduling agreement. I guess this is std behavior. So they have the option for changing the schedule to the current date and then post MIGO again. The user feels it to be time consuming. So want to have a message just a warning while Migo and then proceed GR.
Is it possible to meet?
Rgdsit is the nature of a delivery schedule to have accurate timing.
However for all that do not like that .........you can achieve what you want with an user exit.

i have implemented the same with one of these two BAdi but sorry not remember which one i have used. but sure with one of these two can solve your issue both in MFBF and MF42N.

When MRP is run for MIN MAX Items the Release date in the PR shows the future date
suppose if PR is created thru MRP today its release date is shown in future some 2-3 days in future.
the release date shub be same when PR is created for Min Max items when MRP is run.

Release date is the date on which procurement should have started acting on the PR i.e by this date PR should be released (approved) and handed over to purchasing dept for necessary action. It is based on the lead times of the material and delivery date.
The F1 help for this field is very good. Pl go through it once.
Example:
Date required: 01.Oct.96
GR processing time: 2 days (working days)
Planned delivery time: 10 days (calendar days)
Purchasing dept processing time: 2 days (working days)
For the material to be available on the date it is needed, the purchase requisition must be released on 11.Sept.96 (requirement date less GR processing time, planned delivery time, and purchasing department processing time).

Preventive Maintenance Planning - change call date of future calls
Hello,
we are using time based maintenance plans to schedule our maintenance obligations towards customers. After creating the plan and scheduling (IP10) we get the scheduled calls proposed by the system.
Now we want to use IP10 or IP19 to move those planned call dates that are in the future without releasing the predecssor calls but it gives us an error: "Maintenance plan 16.04.2009: Predecessor to still on hold".
Does anyone know if there is a way around this?

As per your query... you cannot move the call dates which are in the future. First you have to skip the cal which are before the future cal date. then only you can do...
