Dispaly a character(sayY) whencondition is met else display another(sayN)

Hi,
My query has to meet a certain requirement, where if a Condition is met the Keyfigure Column in the report should display a specific character else, if it doesn't meet the condition it should display another character.
Please note that i donot wish for colour identification using Exceptions but require a seperate column with the characters(Y/N).

Firstly, Its Shalabh and not shabana
Secondly, you can create a formula variable using boolean expression "is equal to" for the desired value of your key figure. This will return 1 wherever the value appears for that key figure and 1 elsewhere.
Or else you can include a new characteristic and create a code in the transformation for that characteristic to dispay the desired text for your key figure.

Feature Request: Better dimensional meta data displayed

Aside from every other problem with how Bridge lets the user display, sort and interact with meta data (aside from the actual metadata palette), it would be way more useful to have the Dimension meta data displayed under an image shown in 'real world' dimensions.
For example: I'm looking at my 'final images' that have been converted to CMYK, and sized for delivery. At this point Pixel Dimensions are pretty useless. What I really want to do is quickly scan my images, seeing Inches (or CM) with a PPI. My clients never ask for pixel dimensions (unless we are talking about the web, which we aren't) - they ask for 8.76" x 5.34" at 266ppi. It would just be nice to use bridge to double check the image sizes before delivery.

Thanks for you feedback. You wish has been granted (dimensions can now be displayed in pixels, inches or centimeters. Go to Preferences > Thumbnails to select which dimension to display below the thumbnail, or Preferences > Metadata to customize the metadata pane). You could mirror the teachers ipad to a mac or pc then share the mac or pc screen.

Progess meter/volume display gone from "Now playing" screen. (30gb video)

I don't know how I did it, but about a week ago, I must have hit an unfortunate conbination of buttons on my Ipod 30g Video. Now instead of my progess meter/volume display all I see is five little circles in a horizontal line. I can't seem to fix it. Anyone have any ideas?

How can I stop the last character of my password from being displayed?

Sorry, I'm sure this would have been asked before, but I couldn't locate it..
When unlocking my iPad, how can I stop it from displaying the last character of my password to everyone in the vicinity? This has got to be the fastest way to find out someone's password (just look at the screen as they type their 'secure' password!?). Having the iPad display your password letter by letter is really not acceptable when working in a non-secure environment.
Is there a setting somewhere, or will this be addressed in a new iOS, or just ignored as a 'that's the way it is'?

iOS on a phone (it used to be argued) doesn't need to be very secure as it is almost entirely phone numbers and email addresses that are being stored. However in recent years when the applications got better, and tablets came out, security became a much bigger issue as more and more people started using the functions of 'smart' phones to store more 'sensitive' data.

Are you suggesting that someone looking over your shoulder can't see the keys that you're tapping with your fingers? In the interest of security, i would never, under any circumstances, enter a password when others are around.

How to put iTunes content on one drive, everything else on another

I have had an original Pro since '06. It doesn't run Mav, so I popped for the new one. Oddly enough, the price was exactly the same once inflation was considered. Thank you Canadian Petrodollars!
Anyway... on my old machine I had an SSD called Fast with the OS and apps on it. I had moved my user folder to Big, a 1 TB spinny. The VAST majority of the space on Big was in my Movies, Pictures and Music folders.
On the new machine, Big is a USB portable drive. Theoretically, it might be nice to be able to plug it into another machine and work on those files. But I think that means my new MP is dead at that point because there's no User directory for my login.... is that actually correct?
If it is, is there a better way to do this?
- Should I move my Movies, Pictures and Music folders to the new drive and put everything else on the SSD?
- Or is it cool to put my User folder on the USB and work like I used to?

DigitalColor Meter not displaying HEX code

In Snow Leopard I was using DigitalColor Meter 3.7.2 which had support for RGB as a Hex Value, 8-bit hex colour as (See Image)
I recently purchased a iMac and although I thought i was going to have Snow Leopard installed it came with Lion. So I though I would try it out for myself.
I when to open my DigitalColor Meter 4.0 on Lion and I am not even given the option. (See Image)
As a web developer I have used this tool every day for years! I was able to cut and paste the hex code to any colour I saw on my screen not matter where it was or what program I was using. The changes made to this tool have basically made it useless to me.
I really don't know why you would take away functionality on a operating system that is used by so many creative people and in a field that is just growing more in popularity.
I really hope I can find a way to get this back or it is just hidden with some terminal command.

You could try using the SL version in Lion. I've not tried that. BTW, if you want to report this issue to Apple's engineering, send a bug report or an enhancement request via its Bug Reporter system. To do this, register as an Apple Developer—it's free and available for all Mac users and gets you a look at some development software. Since you already have an Apple username/ID, use that. Once a member, go to Apple BugReporter and file your bug report or enhancement request. You'll get a response and a follow-up number; thus, starting a dialog with engineering.

Cannot print character u00FC and it displays another funny character

I am working on a form A which will display the address. In smartforms the address field is created via CREATE-->ADDRESS.
When I checked in the ADRC the address can display the characters or fonts 'ü'. Unfortunately, when the form is printed out, the 'ü' become another funny symbol.
I have another sample form B which could print out 'ü'. I have also copied the smartstyles from form B to form A via Output Option-->Style, which could not print 'ü'. To my surprise, it is still unable to get print the correct character.
Could someone tells me why?

Check the paragraph format given in the form B in address node. Give the same paragraph format in the Form A also.
You can give the paragraph format at "Output Starts with Paragraph".

Meta information displaying after generating output

Hello there,
My project files have many, many lines of meta data between
<head> and </head>. Certain documents are displaying
meta code ONLY after generating output and when viewed in Explorer.
I don't see the meta data showing when I view the doc files in
Design View or Preview mode.
The stray meta text that shows on both docs is the following:

I believe it is one of these lines of meta data:

For Future Reference:
There were some errors in my meta data. The problem-causing
meta text had html code for quotes instead of the symbol, ". This
seemed to have a snowball effect causing other lines of meta data
to become visible in a browser.
EXAMPLE OF INCORRECT META DATA:

CORRECTED:

When I corrected it, and put the quote symbol in place of the
the quote tag, the meta data no longer shows in a browser.

IPhone 4 wifi signal strength meter not displaying

Please forgive me if there is already a post on this but I've been searching around and haven't found anything exactly like my problem. I'm connected to wifi with my iPhone 4. I know this because in the settings it says I am, as well as I have wifi speeds and the YouTube on my iPhone isn't compressed. However, the wifi signal strength isn't showing up and I just have the 3G icon. If I put the phone into airplane mode and then turn on the wifi it then shows up, but goes away when I turn the airplane mode off. It appears to be a software issue, anyone else having this problem?

Yes, I am having this problem as well.
I have tried the airplane mode 'fix' you tried as well and have the same issue.
I have also noticed that by going into Settings > General > Network and turning off 'Cellular Data' my wifi turns on, I'm at work and I can access the itunes account on our music server (which is usually only available via wifi - to que up tracks in itunes dj etc) however i cannot browse via Safari as it tells me i'm not connected to the internet.
If I turn 3G on and off as well the bars will appear, however it's the same symptoms, and after a minute or so the wifi drops again.
In my wifi settings it shows the wifi as ticked and in use.
I can browse the internet via Safari fine without wifi.
I'm not sure what's going on to be honest, my 3G on iOS4 worked fine yesterday at work....today I'm on my new iphone 4 and have encountered this problem.

Using the "People" meta-field for another purpose?

Is there anything that would keep me from using the "People" meta-field to enter the names of the people in a clip? The default usage (close-up, wide, etc.) doesn't buy me anything. If not, I'll just use keywords or Notes. I'm not at my Mac right now; otherwise, I'd bang on it myself. Is "People" a multi-valued field like keywords and roles? Is it configurable? Who is in the shot is much more important to me than how many and how close they are to the camera.

I've since discovered that the proper terms are "face detection" versus "face recognition". You can't do the recognition until a detection phase has narrowed the search domain. At 24, 30, or 60 fps, this might be prohibitive, although I can see opportunities for optimization, especially for interviews or other scenes where the number of people in the shot is small and they aren't moving around a whole lot. I wouldn't be surprised if such a feature is eventually implemented.

I copy text, paragraph styles, character styles & images from 1 document to another only text copies

I have a few documents that have text and images that is frequently repeated through many chapters of an In Design book. (Printing, exporting etc.) I used to select all in the source document, Command + C to copy it, change to the target document, Command + V to paste it. It worked well for six months.
About two weeks ago it stopped working (shortly after an update to In Design). I have text, paragraph styles, chacter styles and images in each document. Only the plain text copies over. This is the same for any document.
I haven't changed Preferences in six months.
I'm on a Mac 10.8.2, In Design CS6 version 8.0.1.
It's driving me crazy! It's a lot of work to reformat each 2 to 10 pages after copying it in.
