Dispatcher died and all WP being occupied by RFCUSER
Hi Team,
Dispatcher went down and unable to start the SAP MMC.
I found that all work processes are being occupied by two porgrams
SAPLSOPX and SAPLIRFC by RFCUSER due to that none of the user's can't able to login into sap.
when i go to SM 37 and see below jobs are in active state and i have tried to delete the old spool jobs as the program SAPLSOPX called by RFC user seems to spool process.
QRFC:C0A8010411E049AC7BE502EE
QRFC:C0A8010411E049AC7C080321
QRFC:C0A8010411E049AC7C100333
Inspite of killing the work processes they are immediately occupied by these jobs. Can some please suggest some thing on priority since my CRM production server is down.
Pleae see the enclosed developer traces and much appriciated for any suggessions.

Hi Subhash,
Since all work processes are busy with report SAPLSOPX by RFC user and couldn't login into sap.
Is there any way that we can clear outstanding spool request at OS level ? and we could see even all ground processes are stopped with SAPLIRFC program.
Any idea what this program does SAPLSOPX and SAPLIRFC ?? do you think it would be better if we lock the user "RFCUSER" time being until we fix this issue?
Inspite of killing the work processes they are immediately occupied by these jobs...
Many Thanks,
Vinod

I performed a time machine backup without plugging my labtop into a power source. My computer died and all the settings were changed, ie the clock and date were changed back to 2001. So I tried to restore my computer using a previous time machine backup. (which I now know was wrong). However, when time machine tried to restore it said there was not enough room to do a backup. It seems that it did a half backup because some essential files such as system profiler are now missing. Can I undo this restore...? What can I do to fix this
You need to do a full system restore, per Time Machine - Frequently Asked Question #14.
If that sends a message, please note the exact wording. -

If you look at the DEV_w0 log you can see the work process are not comming you as they are not getting enough shared memory see this error message
" Can't find free space for Shared Memory (Size=720000 KB) "
Please review the parameter changes made by you in Instance profile before restart of instace. Check the values of these parameters and if you are not sure of the value changed by you undo the parameter changes made before the instace restart
Restart the instance again after these changes in instance profile. for now you can change the instace profile file from OS but don't forget to import this changed profile when instace is up
if you did not changed any Profile parameters, check the physical memory available. chance could you some hardware memory issue. get your os team to check.
Its a clear case of memory issue ..

How do I prevent all dialog processes in SM50 from being occupied?
Hi experts,
I have set rdisp/rfc_min_wait_dia_wp = 4 and I still saw all dialog processes got occupied.
(PS: This screenshot is captured after a few minutes). Anyway, how do I prevent all dialog processes in SM50 from being occupied?
Should I increase rdisp/rfc_min_wait_dia_wp ( = 4 now ) and rdisp/wp_no_dia ( = 18 now ) to a higher value?Hi Gaurav & Nick,
If I understand correctly, there are 4 dialog processes running and 14 RFC running at the same time.
If I want to resolve this problem, I need to reduce paralellism of RFCs and increase dialog work processes, right? Here is my new configuration. Any thoughts?
new parameters:
rdisp/wp_no_dia = 20
rdisp/rfc_min_wait_dia_wp = 10
rdisp/rfc_check = 3
old parameters in profile:
rdisp/wp_no_dia = 18
rdisp/wp_no_btc = 13
rdisp/wp_no_enq = 0
rdisp/wp_no_spo = 2
rdisp/wp_no_vb = 5
rdisp/wp_no_vb2 = 2
rdisp/rfc_min_wait_dia_wp = 4
rdisp/rfc_check = DEFAULT (DEFAULT is 2, ASYNC and SYNC RFC) -
probably asked and answered a million times but laptop died and my boyfriend and i are now sharing a computer when i went to back up my contacts i ended up with all of his? Is there a way to get them off without deleting each one? Also how do i prevent this from happening again? can someone direct me to some info on multiple phones on one itunes i am lost.
Hey there 79usma79!
I have a couple of articles for you that can help you troubleshoot the issues you are seeing with iTunes on Windows XP. The first is a general troubleshooting article, which can be found right here:
iTunes for Windows XP: Troubleshooting unexpected quits, freezes, or launch issues
http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1421
This article can help you find out if there are any conflicts between your copy of Windows XP and iTunes, and can tell you what to do if there are. Before going down the troubleshooting route though, you should take a look at this article, which can help you back up your entire iTunes library to an external hard drive, so if this issue is recurring, you will be able to restore from that backup and will not have to worry about losing your playlists or music again:
iTunes: Back up your iTunes library by copying to an external hard drive

How can I stop music and movies from being automatically deleted from my phone and saved on the cloud? I've just tried to watch a movie on my 2 hour commute, but yet AGAIN it has been removed. I do NOT want to spank all of my data allowance downloading it again, especially because (believe it or not) I added it to my phone because that's precisely where I wanted it!! Any help much appreciated
FYI I had to put this link into firefox to reply - because **** back safari just wouldn't register my clicks to any of the links on the post... Despite reloadeing and even restarting my computer. Totally annoying and a massive pain in the ***.
But in terms of my initial query; thanks for responding. But no, this is NOT the cause of the problem. I have auto sync and sync over wifi activated, but have also selected manually manage music and videos. Plus, all of my music and videos are on my macbook, absolutely all of it, so if it my phone was syncing with my macbook everything would still be on the phone. Life would be peachy if my phone jsut copied everything that was on my macbook, but unfortuantely it keeps deleting tracks for no apparent reason.
Any thoughts greatly welcomed, because at the moment i can only conclude that my iphone is crap. -
How do I change the phone number attached to my Icloud? All the codes and stuff are being sent to my old number.
Hello Babyygrl23,
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
It sounds like your iCloud Apple ID has a phone number associated with it that you would like to update. If this is the case, after signing in to the linked website below, you will see a section on the left side of the screen labeled Phone Numbers. You can edit the phone number associated with that account from there.

My first problem is that I have no apps on my iPod desktop. After using my computer to install something onto my iPod 5, it somehow disconnected. When i restarted the iPod, some apps (Safari, FaceTime, Game Center, App Store, iTunes Store, Camera, and some others disappeared. Apps like Flashlight and Jetpack Joyride which I had previousyl downloaded from the App Store were still there. I wanted to get the aforementioned apps back, so i decided to back-up my iPod to iTunes. The downloaded apps weren't able to be backed up ("authentication problems") but some apps like Tips, Video, iBooks, Reminders, Stocks, Settings, Voice Memos, were backed up. I then proceeded to factory reset the iPod, deleting everything and starting it as a new iPod. Once I finished this, I looked my desktop to see everything was gone, absolutely everything. I double-pressed the home button, showing Settings was open, but that's it. I opened settings and factory reset it again, this time choosing to restore from a backup. After doing this, I found the iPod looked the same as the last time i reset it - blank. If I scroll down the middle of the screen to bring up a search bar, I can find only the apps I backed up (Tips, Video, iBooks, Reminders, etc.) That is the first MAJOR problem. I was getting really frustrated, so I opened up iBooks and discovered I can download a could free books from the store, which was essentially the only thing I can use the iPod for. There were no videos in the Video app, and pressing the "Go to Store" button did absolutely nothing. No lag, it just ignored my touch. Once i found a few books, I decided to start reading. Eventually, i brought this iPod somewhere to read it, and didn't bring the charger with me. The battery died, and when i got home, tried charging it.
Which brings me to the second problem. A minute or so after I plugged in the charger into the dead iPod, the Apple logo came on. But the iPod never started up. The logo stayed there, getting dimmer after a minute, but no vanishing even after fully charging or pulling out the charging cord. It didn't leave even after hours, but by then the battery died again. If i press and hold the power button and the home button at the same time, the Apple logo disappears. But I can't get into recovery mode utilizing the volume buttons. If i hold the power button when the screen is blank, the Apple logo comes back. But the iPod cannot start up.
After everything was wiped, i was pretty angry. But I still had books to read, even if i couldn't do much else. Then the battery died, and it really wrecked me up. I feel so mad right now, although this actually happened about 4 days ago. The iPod being wiped happened about 3 days after the Christmas holidays began. This iPod also was not brand new, I bought it off a friend who had it for over a year, although it was in perfect condition (Obviously out of warranty.) I desperately need a solution to this HUGE problem. Due to personal reasons, I can't go to a Genius Bar or go to an Apple retailer in person, but communicating by E-mail is an option, as is instant messaging.Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
Apple Retail Store - Genius Bar
The missing apps could have been done by setting the Restrictions that can hid those apps. If the backup was made with those retrictions set the the Restrictions are also restored.
Thus, if you get it to work restore to factory settings/new iPod, not from backup

My itunes aacount was on my home computer that me and my brother both used. The computer died and we will need to buy a new one. We thought that if we just logged into our account from my laptop all the music would be there, it's not. Can anyone help us?
Go to the iTunes Store and select "Purchased" from the Quick Links side bar on the right. Go through all the tabs to download again for free
