Display a new message type VL02N/03N

Hi masters, i have tried to create a new message type ZPL2 to display in the tx vl02n, but the message type is not visible in the "Issue Delivery Output", i create the message type in the transaction V/34, NACE i have configured this message type in the transaction vv22, but i dont get the form to use my new message type. can anyone help me with this? i have seen almost all the forums about this but i have not found an answer, in the attach images you can see my problem

Thanks Noel, this was the solution that i was looking for, i already can add the message type for an specific customer in the transaction VL02N->EXTRAS -> DELIVERY OTPUT ->HEADER, but i have to do this solution for an especific customer, there are any form that show the message type ZLP2 for all the Outbound Delivery with the Delivery Type ZLF1, or i have to do this always for each customer.

Need help for new message type for PO archiving

Hello All
I have configured new message type ZARR for PO archiving process. After configuring all the steps this condition is not getting picked to by itself. And after maintaing it manually it is giving red flag without any error message. Here I am listing all the step that I have followed for config. Please help me am I missing something or any parameter is wrong.
Steps for new Message Type for PO Archiving
1.     Defined new Table 513 Purch.Org./Plant.
2.     Defined new access sequence Z513 Access Sequence for Archiving.
Following are parameters to the Access Sequence

the problem is the Exclusive = Yes indicator in the access sequence.
Your other message has this exclusive indicator as well.
so if the first message is found, then no other message wil be determined
to allow several messages in one PO, you must not set this exlusive indicator

Hi Vijay,
As far as I understand, you can suppress, change it to warning message or error message, but you can not create new message with TX OMT4.

New Message type for Sales orders

Hi,
We have the message type is ORDSRP(ORDERS05) and Function module IDOC_OUTPUT_ORDRSP for the sales orders.
We have lot of custom fields to be added to the IDoc.
Can any one suggst if it is better extending the current message of create a new one.

Hi Rohita,
Instead of changing the standard domain, You have to make the changes in the User Exit.
Say Qualifier 001,002,003 were already there in the domain.
001--Purchase Date
002--Delivery Date
003--Ordered Date
In the user exit u have to just add the segment and the qualifier without making any changes to the Standard Domain.
These Qualifiers are just like other variables and u can add whatever values to them that u want..
You can add Qualifier 004 for Trnasportation Date or Goods issue date and have to communicate the MiddleWare informing that date with this Qualifier will be Transportation Date and they will do the mapping to the corresponding field in other syste.
You can have as many message types as u want for the same IDoc type. There is no harm in having multiple message type. And u dont need to change the standard domain. It can be done without changing the domain.
If u analyse the FM closely u will realise that they have done coding for those values in the domain.
So instead of adding it to domain u just have to do the coding for this new qualifier.

New Message Type from HRMD_A

Hi Pals,
      I have created a new Custom Z message type and included some custom segments (Custom infotypes).
      i have to write a BADI Implementations if you have any sample coding pls do send me.
      I do have done all configurations like bd64, we20, we30, we81, we82, we57, we59.
      do i need to populate custom segments of custom messagetype in BADI or its automatically populated ?
      pls reply me with helpfull solutions.

Does Mail display # of new messages in the dock icon even when app is off?

I'm not sure if it does or not. I like how the new iCal icon in the dock displays the date even when the app isn't open.
I'd love if Mail would display the # of new messages in the dock icon without having to leave the application open all the time.
Otherwise, I just have to stick with Gmail Notifier.

Adding a new message type to Report RHALEINI to send HR Master Data

I have extended Basic IDoc type HRMD_A07 with custom segments, and I want to send this vis report RHALEINI. PRoblem is I cannot see it in the Receiving System Message Type frop down list. IS it so that I must set up a Master Data Distribution Model with that message type before the report will show it in the list?

How can I display the IDOC message type descriptions

I've been asked to provide a listing of all the IDOC message types and it's associated description.
Does anyone know what table holds this information or a t-code that will allow me to create a file listing the message tpyes and descriptions?

The correct table to get this information is from SAP table EDIMSGT. You can view/download the contents of this table via transaction SE16.

Changed Mac time affect display of new message

hi, all,
I encountered a question about changed my Mac time. I changed my Mac's time to future time and then changed back to current time. After that, when i received the new message from others, the newest message can't appear on top, but appears before the messages which were received during my Mac changed time.

How can I view attachments I have included when composing a new mail message? I can do so in OS X mac mail and would prefer to use Thunderbird if I can solve this difference. Display attachments inline is checked but only works for incoming mail.

The answer you got was that one of the admins has moved your request to Thundebird... I assume it was posted as a firefox issue initially.
but I really don't know what your issue here is.
I just created a mail, added an attachment and double clicked on it and it opened. Have you installed any add-ons that might make Thunderbird behave differently?

Adding Standard Segment in New Message Type

In the standard Idoc type of delivery DELVRY05 , I am not getting pricing condition segments, These pricing condition segments are available in INVOIC02.
Could you please tell me the step by step approach for creating a customize idocs say ZDELVRY05, in which I can add segment E1EDK05 from INVOIC02.
While adding trying to add segment E1EDK05 in WE30 I am able to add the segment but fields are not appearing . Is it the right method of doing it ?

Display of new messages in inbox list gets trimmed on GNU/Linux

Thanks to everyone who works on Mozilla Thunderbird. I am running TB 31.1.0 from the Mozilla Build on Debian GNU/Linux 7. I find that when new mail arrives, my inbox list does not scroll to show the messages. I have it sorted by increasing date, so the newest messages arrive at the bottom. The scrollbar changes and I can scroll it manually. I'd really like to see that new mail subject at a quick glance, however. I know I have a message because I get a few pixels of the first new one showing. I used to use TB on Windows all the time and I thought it featured a behavior that would autoscroll to show at least a few of the newest messages. My window is sized so about 14 rows are showing at one time and I have about 175 messages in my inbox. When I have read all mail, I usually leave the list scrolled so the last message is at the bottom. I'll attach a screenshot (I think I can do that in a reply). So my questions are: am I missing some way to enable the behavior I desire? If not, should I get involved as a developer and try to fix the code to behave the way I would like? Does TB behave on Windows the way I describe?

When I mouse over the mail toolbar item "Get Messages" a tooltip is displayed "Get new messages for nobody". Hm.

Have I neglected to specify some username value someplace? I don't think so...

I don't want to say "No, this was not helpful" because it is actually interesting, and my prefs.js file has a similar Username entry, plus a bunch of pathnames that are like "mailbox://nobody@Local%20Folders/...". However I believe the naive user has no way to change this "nobody" to some more reasonable value, short of editing the prefs.js file which they really should not do.
I think it's just a (cosmetic) bug, that "nobody" shows up in the tooltip. It should probably say "All Accounts" or something like that.

Prevent new PO message type from being applied when changing an existing PO

I have created a new PO message type for EDI (ZED) which is working as required on new PO instances. Applied conditions are Doc Type, POrg and Vendor, with master data set accordingly.
My problem is when I enter an existing PO in ME22N, which has already been output under an NEU message, the system is applying my new ZED message type and I do not what it to do this.
Also note in Fine Tuned Message Control, I have not set ZED to reprint on changes.
Can anyone help please?

This is resolved I didn't need a new message type and deleted ZED. All message outputs now controlled under message type NEU, with required access sequences to suit EDI and other communication types i.e. Print/E-Mail
