Display an Monthly Calendar

Hi,
    I want to display an Monthly Calendar in Portal which should show the current date as highlighted.(Like how Windows OS displays). How to do that? Can anybody help me in this?

  • Month name displayed in month calendar view for previous month

    In iPad IOS 7.04 iCal month view the month name displayed at the top of the window is incorrect. The previous month name show when viewing a calendar month. Test by selecting year view and the any month from the year. The month view will be for the selected month, but the month name will be for the preceding month. The incorrect month name in month vie is also displayed if the month view is scrolled to new months.
    I observe this on my iPad II.
    Ha s anyone seen this error? Does anyone know if Apple has seen this and has a plan to correct it?

    Imhave the same exact problem on my iPad2.  It was not fixed in the recent iOS 7.1 release, even though modifications were made to the calendar app.  Very frustrating, since this is such an easily observable problem.

  • How do I display more than one month calendar in the day-view?

    iCal has always had a nice feature that allowed me to display little, what I call, mini-month calendars while in the day-view.  This allowed me to quickly jump to a day two or three (or more) months ahead (or behind) to check appointments on that day or set an appointment, without switching out of the day-view.
    The mini-month was a small clickable calendar that looked something like this:

    15 16 17 18 19 20 21
    22 23 24 25 26 27 28
    There was also a forward and backward arrow box [ < ][ > ] that allowed me to quickly scroll to the mini-month to find the day I wanted to click into.  And, if I wanted to give it more room by adjusting the frame, I could display up to three months at a time within my day view.
    Since upgrading iCal to 5.0 with the Lion upgrade, I can no longer display more than the current mini-month calendar on the day view.
    This is REALLY inconvenient.  Now, there is no way (that I know of) for me to stay in the day view and be able to jump ahead to a specific day two or three months out, or even to a day in the NEXT month without either going to the year view (a big waste of time) or click on the last day of the current month and then clicking the ">" day arrow to get to the next day which then shows that month's mini-calendar.
    How do I display more than the current month's mini-month calendar in the day view on Lion?

    Unfortunately you can't do what you want. Many people have complained to Apple about this. I suggest you provide Apple feedback directly at http://www.apple.com/feedback/macosx.html. They will not provide a direct response but hopefully if enough people provide feedback Apple will fix this.

    Is there a way to default the monthly calendar display
    so that the current day always shows on top? ie, I want to always be able to see what's in the future 3-4 weeks, not what's in the past 3-4 weeks. The default monthly display is archaic--only allows you to see through the last day of the month. Suddenly today
    is Oct. 30th, and I have a ton of projects lined up in November, but because I haven't been scrolling down every day, I haven't been aware of them every day. I realize there are other tools in Microsoft to help me stay on task, such as reminders and such,
    but it would be helpful if I could always have the current day display on top of the monthly view so I can quickly scan what's coming up in the next few weeks.

    Right, I already have it in Month view. My question is a little more specific--I'd like for the current day to always display at the top. For example, today is Oct. 31st, so the current day is at the bottom of the calendar since it is the last day of the month.
    I can view everything in October that I've already completed. What I can't see are the future weeks because we haven't hit November yet. I'd like for the current day to always display at the top of my calendar so I can always see what's coming in the following
    three - four weeks (whether they're a part of that month or not). I've been to other forums trying to find the answer, and have come across the same exact question from frustrated users--but there seemed to be no solution. So I'm posing the question myself
    in this forum. Do you know if this is possible? What I found from other forums is that Outlook defaults to a physical 'desk' type calendar format--so just as I'd use a paper calendar at my desk, I wouldn't be able to see the following weeks unless I either
    flip the page to that month or I come to the first day of the next month, thereby tearing the the old month off and now only able to see the current month. That format is just so...paper...and archaic! Essentially I want the calendars to loop so it doesn't
    even really matter what month it is--I just always want to see what lies ahead without having to scroll down. With our being in the Technology Age, I'd assume this is a logical expectation, but we may be stuck with the replica version of the paper-desk-calendar
    format until Outlook programmers add this Technology Age feature in newer versions.  
    See, this month kind of messed me up because I have so many projects for November that start tomorrow and next week, but I haven't seen them until this week. I would have been better quipped--at least expecting them--had I been able to see all of those projects
    since last week or the week prior.  
    If there is no solution to this answer, would you know how I can contact Outlook to provide feedback? I'm guessing a newer version is on its way...

    Go to Settings>General>International>Calendar and set it to Gregorian.  Or is this happening on your Mac?  If so, go to System Preferences>Language & Region and choose Gregorian from the Calendar drop-down list.

  • Display Current Month's calendar

    Hello,
    I have a calendar that will display several months worth of data. I would like the calendar to display the current month's data initially and allow the user to scroll back to previous months. Obviously, when you set the start_date and end_date you can only view the curretn month.
    Is there a way to control the month that is initially displayed on the calendar?

    This workaround does work quite well and I've implemented it successfully, but I do have a question:
    I need to place this calendar into a page as a portlet. When I click the 'next,previous,current' buttons, it does take me to appropriate month, but opens up in a new page and I need it to stay as a portlet within the page. Have any ideas on how to implement this? I'm using Portal Release 2. Thanks for the help in advance.

  • Can't change the day, week, month display in Google Calendar

    For the past week I haven't been able to change the display of Google Calendar. My default display is a month and that loads just fine. The buttons to change it to the next month, or to one day or one week don't work. Everything else works fine. I can add and edit events. I just upgraded to Firefox 17, but it was happening with Firefox 16.0.2 also. My Google calendar works fine in ME.

    Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
    "Clear the Cache":
    *Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
    "Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
    *Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
    Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
    *Do not click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.

  • Workaround to display current month in calendar

    Hello,
    This is regarding Mr. Krishnamurthy's workaround to display current month in calendar. He asked us to run the URL with some name value pairs attached to get rid of the default "Next" button that the portal will create. But if i add this as a portlet how will i let portal know to run the portlet with these parameter values.
    one way that i'm guessing is to add these parameters to the page and pass the values in the customization page. But can we do without doing this customization and everything. And also how do i display the next month of the calendar in the portal itself(i.e inline rendering). Presently if i click the next month link it takes me out of the portal. Eagerly waiting for suggestions/solutions. Thanks and regards,

    I can get iCal to display a five day week onscreen easily enough, but I would also like to print a monthly calendar showing only the traditional five-day work week. I havent' been able to do that yet. Is there a way to do it?

    All I know is that sometimes the paths don't work right--especially if you're using a swc and you use the "+" button to add a path to it instead of the button that looks like a swc icon. It stands to reason that if you change the path, you could fix the problem, especially if moving the project meant you had to set that up again.

  • MOSS 2007 Monthly Calendar view wont accept a single digit month

    If any of my users try to change the Month of the Monthly Calendar view, by clicking the arrows to the left of the current display month, they get a blank page.
    The url they are sent to is as follows:

    If they insert a zero in front of the month digit SharePoint displays the page perfectly fine. ie:
    https://~/Lists/Calendar/calendar.aspx?CalendarDate=06%2F16%2F2014
    Here is where it gets strange, my staging environment will display the first URL and the second URL as expected, my production and dev environments choke on a single digit month.  All environments display Oct, Nov, and Dec just fine because they are
    2 digit months.  All servers are Windows Server 2008R2 SP1 and Sharepoint build 12.0.0.6679
    Anyone seen this before?  I have checked, and changed, the regional settings for date format.  They are all set to M/dd/yyyy and changing it had no effect.

    Did this happen to all site collections and web applications?
    Where did you set the date format as M/dd/yyyy?
    Have you checked if there is any error on the page with different browsers(or with F12 developer tool)?

  • Apps report cannot display 12 month column

    I have done report using Matrix with Groups. When i ran it in oracle reports it displays 12 month period. After i put in apps and run it the report will show up to 7th column(7th month). I am using Landscape 13 and 9 in reports. In the concurrent program i chose Landwide.
    Pls help to suggest what i did wrong. How can i display all the 12 columns.

    Thanks for the replies. I reviewed them shortly after they were submitted but I'm also working on other projects at the same time (hence the delayed reply).
    Building a time table and doing a cross join to my original resultset gave me the desired resultset of the months assigned between dates. What I can't figure out now is how to filter months I don't want. 
    Doing a cross  join between my original resultset that had two dates:
    08/27/2010
    10/24/2011
    and a calendar table that has 24 rows (each month for a two year period)
    my new resultset looks like this:
    I need to filter the rows in yellow as the months assigned for stage 3 that started on 8/27/2010 should stop when the patient was assigned to stage 4 on 10/24/2011.
    You'll notice that Jan - Sept 2011 isn't listed for Stage 4 assigned on 10/24/2011 as I included a filter in the WHERE clause that states
    the Months Assigned value must be greater than or equal to the date assigned value.
    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Are there features in any version of Crystal Reports that allow this? (We currently have version 8)  Has anybody done this before?  I'd expect doing it manually with lines and calculating dates of each box for a given month would be rather challenging.
