Z10 now its giving me problem with the icons and display...the whole screen becomes so large.whn someone calls or im in the middle of the conversation i cnt even drop the call...pls advice wht to do...

Display and icons shrunken after connexion to tv

After connecting my Macbook Pro to my TV (hdmi + adapter), the display and the icons would shrink on my Macbook, but as soon as I would disconnect it, it would return to my original settings (original size). Now, since the last time I connected my Macbook to my TV, it stays shrunken and does not return to its original size. I fixed the icons' size already by going in the "View Options", but I still can't fix the size of the lettering in my Macbook (e.g.: menu, taskbar, webpage, etc.). How do I fix this? THANK YOU!!!!

Disconnect the adapter. Open the Displays preference pane and set the resolution to Default for display.

Suddenly all display and icons changed color

I turned on my MacBook Pro this morning and the display color turned to an egg-yolk yellow. How do I get it back to the way it originally was. I did not install anything new or change any defaults since I purchase it in May of this year. Did something break or what?? Everything is gray or black now. I need major help!!!

You can go into System Preferences, Display, Color, and see if any of the profiles bring it back. If not, I suspect the video card might have issues.

Photoshop CS6 Menus and Icons too small on Windows 8.1 with 4K UHD display

So I have seen that I am not the first one to ask this question, but I have yet to find any true resolutions. I recently bought anew laptop, a Lenovo with a 4K UHD display which I already love for so many things. But, like a few other programs, the high resolution means the icons and menu text of PS CS6 are incredibly small, which may be alright on a TV, but on a laptop screen, it make it incredibly difficult to work. I have tried all sorts of different approaches in Windows, such as changing the OS font sizes and icon sizes, which do indeed change everything else on the computer, but PS is still the same tiny size. I have also increased the text size under the interface preferences to large, but with little real change. I understand why this is happening, but I am hoping that there is some sort of workaround, beyond just bumping down my screen resolution, which defeats the whole purpose of using UHD to edit photos. I have heard rumors of being able to code in some UI changes manually, but have found no concrete examples of how to actually do that.
I am sure that it would not take Adobe too much time and effort to create an update to help with scaling, but they are very set on pushing forward with Creative Clound, leaving the rest of us loyal customers to the dust until we pay up. If anyone has found any resolutions or workarounds, I'd really appreciate it. Thank you.

Well other than that, I can't offer anything else as a forum volunteer. I have no idea if anything, what Adobe plans to do for CS6.
I do know that Photoshop CC 2014 has a 200% ui feature for Windows and you might like the Photography Plan which for $10 monthly includes Photoshop CC 2014 and Lightroom for $10/month.
You can trial CC 2014 to see if it does solve your situation

In the link you posted it states that the Nikon 810 requires ACR 8.6 or newer.
Version of ACR are specific to versions of Photoshop. You cannot use 8.6 nor even 7.0.in CS5.
I believe that ACR 6.7 is the latest that will work with CS5, so make sure you have this installed and get rid of ACR 7.
Having 2 versions of ACR will cause problems.
You have already downloaded DNG Converter 8.7.1.
Have you double clicked the DMG file to allow you to install DNG Converter on your computer?
Be aware that DNG converter is a stand-along application and not a plug-in.
You need to open DNG converter at select the FOLDER that contain your .NEF files.
Don't open the folder and try to select individual files, it doesn't work that way.
After converting your D810 files to DNGs you can then open the DNGs in CS5
The problem is your camera didn't exist when CS5 & its version of ACR was developed.
i don't use Lightroom, but the list mentions Lightroom 5.6 as needed to open D819 so your 3.6 version of LR won't cut it.

Dng and CR2 files display as icons in CS5

Now I have installed CS5 on three machines - a new installation on WIN7, and here everything is alright - no problem!
Two machines running XP wth a previous CS4 installation uninstalled show up in Bridge with this problem:
dng and CR2 files display as icons!!
Everything is updated, ACR plugin placed as should be, and Camera RAW is working fine when OPENING the file. It is only a display problem, but this is serious enough - you cannot go through your downloaded pictures.
I have tried to follow a solution close to the one given for CS4:

but I am out of luck.
Is it an XP problem, or has it something to do with the previous installation of CS4?
Any suggestions will be great! I have searced, read, tried, searched, tried.... some share this problem, but I haven't seen any soloution.

Disclaimer: The following applies to WINDOWS EXPLORER. I don't use Bridge so I don't know if it's applicable at all to Bridge.
Adobe does not provide a codec for viewing Canon raw files as thumbnails. Canon has one for free but it only works on a 32 bit Windows system.
Early this year I found a free download for displaying raw file thumbnails that works on an x64 Windows system. Since that time the author realized there's a real demand for this software and has started charging for it. In any case, I find it works very well.

Safari not displaying certain icons and background music while viewing

I'm new to Mac OS.
I tried to view a website I used to visit but the 27" iMac wouldn't display certain icons and the background music when Windows 7 could.
I recalled when I was in the Windows 7, the internet Explore brought down a small yellow bar from the top page asking me whether I'd like to install the ActiveX so that the site can play back the backgound music, java script and so on.
I downloaded and tried the Google's Crome and the Firefox browsers but they were the same as the Safari.
Is there a remedy for it?

If you could post a link to the site it would help.
From the Safari Menu Bar click Safari / Preferences and select the Security tab.
Where you see: Web content: Make sure the top 3 buttons are checked. Relaunch Safari and try that site.

My iPod no longer recognized in itunes or my computer and functions no longer work. I tried to reset it, Apple appears to leave room for a few seconds later the same icon with an electrical outlet and impossible to put it into disk mode. Help me please I don't know what to do. Your iPhone is in recovery mode-- you need to connect it to your computer and, most likely, iTunes will ask you to restore it. If you recently backed up this shouldn't be too much of a problem.

Try a reset a few more times.
Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 second until you see the Apple logo.

Launchpad displaying unknown files and icons. how can i get rid of this?

Launchpad on my 3 week old 13inch macbook pro with OS Lion, is displaying all sorts of strange files and icons, some of which include: disk image mounter, dock, how can I get rid of this? ods agent, 50onPaletteServer, spotlight.service, SCIM, TCIM, makePDF, PressAndHold, MassStorageCamera- to name but a few! Theres over 100 of these icons and I have no idea what they are and where they came from? whilst using googlechrome yesterday my macbook suddenly slowed down and all running programmes froze. i eventually got all programmes closed and restarted twice and was still running slow. Today it is up to normal speed but I noticed how Launchpad is totally messed up and I dont know how to get rid or move any of these icons, that is if they are even meant to be there. Im not sure if it is relevant but I shall also add that the Hard Disk Icon was randomly being displayed on my desktop as well.
Any help on whats happening to my launchpad and what these icons are would be greatly appriciated.

Messed up color display and resolution because of mini-DVI to video adapter

Once I connected the mini-DVI to video adapter to the tv and got weird colors on my screen for a while but then it worked out, then after a while I disconnected the cable and turned my computer off. After that, everytime I turned my macbook on, the color is fine for two seconds and then it turns into a weird offset color, really bright colors, kinda sketchy and just a few colors, and a weird resolution and display obviously, but then I just connect my Mini-DVI to video adapter and disconnect it again (quickly) and the color returns to normal. How can I make the normal colors stay and not have to connect the mini-DVI to video adapater everytime I want to see the normal color display and resolution??

Open the Universal Access pane of System Preferences, click on Seeing, turn off the White on Black, VoiceOver, and Zoom options, and drag the Contrast slider all the way to the left. If the issue persists, create a new folder on the desktop, drag half of the items from the Library/Preferences/ folder of the item in the Finder's sidebar with the house icon into it, and narrow down the files until you've isolated the one responsible.

All of a sudden my yahoo email wont display correctly (shows some links for inbox etc but they arnt clickable and no emails are displayed) and the links on facebook (notifications, home etc) dont display but facebook content does.

Yahoo home page and yahoo email is not displaying correctly. It had been working fine until Saturday 9/10. When i load yahoo home page it will display content but some is not clickable and is not displayed correctly. In my email it will show the content on the left side (inbox, drafts etc and along the top (contacts, inbox etc) nothing can be clicked and no emails load or are shown. Facebook will load news feed content but will not display the icons at the left top (notifications, messages etc) they are clickable and work but the images just aren't there. Also not able to play games in facebook. The game loads up to 100% but never finishes. I dont go to many other website but i did check a few and they seem to be fine. May this be a website issue or firefox issue? i am able to use internet explorer to correctly see my email and facebook so assuming its a firefox thing.

How can I display an icon, instead of text string, as a validation prompt?

would work in JSF, so I won't be able to talk others into using JSF, unless I can get the validation to display an
icon instead of text.

OK, I noticed a bug in my validate method. This is updated to fix the bug, and to include the recomendation about background-image:
