Display attachments in body of e-mail.

Is there a way to do this either by sender or receiver of e-mail from Apple Mail or other e-mail programs? Want to send newsletter.

After copy-and-paste, then hit the return key, it should spit out my email address. (I prefer to use this method to disclose email address - it doesn't leave my address out there wide open for spambots to troll.) Then copy that email address to an email and try to send me a picture.
And you saw my "don't include the ⏎" that I put in there but shouldn't have in my next message following that, right?

Apple Mail in 10.6.8 not displaying attachments

I am unable to get consistent results on displaying attachments from Apple Mail on 10.6.8 with Exchange Server 2007 SP3 RU4. Attachments sent from an Outlook 2007 client on the same exchange server are not displayed in Apple Mail. The message shows no sign of an attachment. The problem with this issue, is it is not consistant. If I forward the e-mail message from my iPhone to myself, I get the attachment in Mail. It shows up in my iPhone correctly. I am connected to Exchange in Mail via the standard EWS (Exchange Web Services). The original message doesn't show any attachment in Mail. But after 20 or so minutes, the attachement show in the message body, but not in the header up top. Just driving me crazy. Is there anyone that can point me in a direction on who to contact on this issue to find out how it can be fixed?

I'm having the same problem and it is driving me crazy. My main email account at work is on an Exchange 2007 server. When I send emails with attachments (using Mail 4.5), I get people replying telling me that I haven't included the attachments. However, I know I have as the attachments appear in the Sent Items and I have also tested it by sending blind copies to a Gmail account and they turn up there even when the recipient is telling me that they cannot see the attachment. Even worse, people send me emails with attachments and the attachments either just do not appear at all or they appear intermittently. Whatever the problem, this really isn't good enough - how can I work with such unreliability. If anyone has any suggestions or ideas for how to fix or work around this I'd be very grateful!

Mail doesn't display the full body of messages

An example: my bank sends me an email that I have a new bill from whoever. The email contents display as you would expect until just after the due date for the bill, and then it's just blank. I've tried this with Load Remote Images both off and on, with the sole difference being whether the bank logo displays or not. The same email displays in its entirety (except for the logo) on my Mac Pro and MacBook Pro, with LRI set off (which I prefer for security reasons). This happens a LOT with all sorts of emails, not just from the bank. It's a total pain because I have to schlep my laptop instead of my iPad Air on trips just to get non-mangled email (and a non-crashing browser, but that's another story). This isn't new, BTW, it's been happening on previous releases of iOS.

Another quirk I've just noticed. Sometimes the mail WILL display completely at first and then after I look at another mail, it changes to displaying with the body missing. This is weird.

Mail stopped displaying attachments, shows generic full-screen icon

I have been an iPhone user since 2008, and until recently, never had a problem with mail attachments. I know how they work: I need to tap to download them first, sometimes I even need to download the entire message, etc. I have successfully viewed thousands of attachments over the years.
However, a few months ago it just stopped working. JPG, Word, Excel, PDF, etc., attachment are shown at the end of the message with their appropriate icons, and I can tap on them, as before. Tapping will get me to the attachment view screen, as before. However, what's different is that the "attachment view screen" is just a light grey gradient with a generic document icon, a file name, and a description of the file type (see below).
This can happen in all of my mail accounts, so it shouldn't be a server setting. But there are differences:
On Gmail, images usually display correctly, but not Office files
On Exchange, nothing displays correctly
When I forward the mail to myself in order to fix the issue, the following may happen:
Forwarding an affected message from my iPhone will just kill the attachment. It will be replaced by a content-free HTML file
Forwarding the affected message from my at work PC to my Gmail account will solve the problem, I will be able to open the message on my iPhone, even if it's a Microsoft Office file
Forwarding an affected message from my PC to my Exchange account doesn't solve the problem.
This looks like a bug. Any idea why it suddenly appeared recently? Anyone with a similar experience? Any solutions?

SOLVED!
The culprit was "Spaces" -- I had my work apps in one Space and my others in a second Space.
When Spaces got in the way, I disabled it. That's when the windows disappeared!
Note to Apple: When "Spaces" is disables, allow all windows to open in the "null" window!

Before: attachments not in body of letter. Now: attachments in body of letter - not wanted so. How do I fix?

A few days ago when I used Thunderbird in sending e-mail messages as I would place an attachment it would just stay as an attachment and there was not change to what I had entered in the body of the message.
Now when I make an attachment to an e-mail message, the attachment holds with the message, but also becomes part of the body of the message. i.e. form or picture now showing in full in body of e-mail message.
I want to know how to change Thunderbird back so the attachments just stay attachments only.

Cannot Read Body of my Mail on MacBook Pro

I am using Mail with the latest Mavericks on my MacBook Pro....and it is all updated to the latest software updates. For the past 5 or 6 days, I cannot read the body of my mail. The headers etc. are visible but in the preview pane below, nothing shows. I think this started because I had left the computer for a few hours and it went to sleep. When I tried to get back on, nothing happened. I pressed the enter and other keys but it still kept 'sleeping'. I finally resorted to turning the power switch off and was presented with this problem. I have searched these forums and though there are a few instances of this, they either seemed to be with older OS systems or on the initial installation of Mavericks....I have had Mavericks since it first came out with no issues. Also, the majority of these type issues seemed to be with the iPhone or iPad...and I still have not been able to get to the bottom of this.
I have tried to Rebuild the mailbox several times but to no avail. Sometimes the Mail also quits unexpectedly and I am given an error statement. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

In the Mail > Preferences I have it set to display in Classic view.
Side bar or Accounts in-boxes and other folders
Then a top window of Messages left or new in the In-boxes and the messages being "read" below that.
There are occasions when deleting a messages in the top window does not automatically select another.
This can mean nothing displays in the bottom box (I just can't re-create it right now ).
If I change to the regular/default view I see the Side Bar still, then the Summary column followed by the Messages column.
The Summary I have chosen has three Messages related to it.
In the Messages column I have scrolled the first to reveal the contents but also show the Header of the next. (I chose to show Full Headers so there is a lot of info here or not only the Sender but the Server(s) it came through to get to me).
I take you do mean the actual Header to the actual message (the lower right item in the pic) rather than calling one of the columns "Headers" ?

i struggled quite a while if i should write a reply or not.
The fact that one of my posts got rejected by suggesting FM SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1 finally made me do so. (maybe the rejection was ok for the context i wrote my post for but reading through the forum i feel like some people going to panic if they read the FM-name).
I totally agree with u using CL_BC-Classes instead of old fashioned-FMs for new development.
But that should not lead us in handling the name SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1 like they did with the name Lord Voldemort in Harry Potter.
Wanting to display a PDF in email body instead of adding it as attchment, aint nescessary worth a complete redesign of the existing programm - as Cem Unal already posted his code and told us he just want to change it.
As long as there are programms out that use this FM, there will be questions on how to handle this FM no matter if its obsolete or not. And where should they ask, when they wont be able to ask in the scn-forum?
Reading the FMs documentation, there is nothing mentioning this FM is obsolete.
So the strategie of suggesting to use newer technics because of personal preference should (in my opinion) not lead into deleting posts regarding the old technic on the other hand.

Is there any way to schedule the webi report as body of the mail

I have a bit different requirement. I need to schedule the webi reports to BlackBerry Mobile .
The report should be displayed not as an attachment or URL but should be the body of the mail.
Is there any Trick or Tip to do that.

You could schedule the reports to run as an Excel or PDF document and the destination as a folder on a server. Then after the reports are sent to the destination, you could use the Program Job Server to run a script which parses the files line-by-line and creates an email. It's not the most elegant solution but in theory it should work.

Send an smartform as body of a mail

I would like know if there is another way of doing this: "Send an smartform as body of a mail". Now it is sending attached as pdf but the user prefers to view the smartform on the body of the message.
This is a CS formulary and I think that (perhaps) at the options of "output_options     TYPE ssfcompop," should be another of this.

Mail attachments - Attachments are being renamed to "Mail Attachment"

I have MacBook Air and am using the Apple Mail client to connect via IMAP to our company Exchange 2003 server. When I receive an email with an attachment(PDF, DOC, XLS, JPG) every attachment gets renamed to Mail Attachment (With no extension at the end). When I try to open the attachment the MAC OS doesn't understant how to open, even when I download the attachment it appears as Mail Attachment -##.
I'm running Version 10.8.4
Please help!

Background Job result output should be displayed in Email body

Hi Friends,
One of our user is scheduling background job, He need the output to his external Email ID.
user required that Job result output should be displayed in Email body, Not in attachment.
We have tried but job result received in email as HTML (or) PDF file attachment, But he wants output in Email body itself.
Please help.

Displaying report output in email body is not available as a standard feature. Also doing a custom development would be very cumbersome .

How to display Attachments on OAF page for different entities

Hi,
I have a requirement where I have to create an attachment page to display the attachments dynamically at run time depending upon the values passed such as Entity Name, Primary Key values, Category Id values.
I have a query to give me the attachments related data from the tables like fnd_documents_vl, fnd_attached_documents, fnd_document_entities, fnd_document_categories_tl.
Now, as I read on the forum, I can make use of Oracle's seeded functionality on attachments and display attachments but in my requirement I don't have one specific entity. I have below query which gives data directly with respect to all entities from fnd tables. The name of entity and primary keys will come at run time. So, how can I make use of below query and display attachments in such a case?
I am very new to OAf and any help will be really appreciated.

Thanks a lot for your guidance. I tried implementing the code in PR but I am stuck at one error. I am not able to programmatically add a new Entity ID and its attributes at run time. To make it more clear: In Jdev I created an Entity and its mappings at design time. Now, I am able to use getEntitymappings() and setEntityMappings() to modify the attributes of exiting Enity but I am not able to add/append new Entity ID to the existing one. It throws - java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 1 error.
Please any one review the below code snippet and let me know whether I am missing something to make it work.

Since the update to 7.0.1 I am unable to open download updates to IE 8. Nor can I download a fresh version of AOL 9.0vr or download attachments from web beased e-mails. Is there a problem with Firefox, please?

I have several problems.
1. I cannot download attachments from web based e-mail accounts (AOL & Tesco.Net) without Firefox crashing and having to be restarted.
2. I can no longer start Internet Explorer 8
3. I can't download a new version of IE 8 or AOL 9.0VR. The .exe files download and run but the remainder of the download and installation process does not happen.

Display attachments through WebDynpro Abap

Hi all,
I am currently working on the Generic Object Services and I manage to create attachment and retrieve them. however I can't find how to display attachments into a WebDynpro interface.
The context:
I have two applications which communicate with RFC:
- The first application is the business application. It contains some RFC functions to handle data, business objects and attachments. This application is under SAP R/3 4.6.C environment and attachments are stored via GOS linked to standard transactions (VA03 / CV03 / IW53).
- The other application is a WDA interface for the final users which calls, via RFC, the functions implemented in the first application. This application is under SAP R/3 ECC6.0 environment.
The goal:
I would like to implement the possibility to display some documents (PDF, DOC, XLS) stored with GOS in the first application (SAP R/3 4.6.C) via the web application (SAP R/3 ECC6.0). To do this, I will use RFC functions but I don't know the functions/methods I have to call to perform this process.
Does someone know the information that I need? Please do not hesitate to ask me should you need further information.

For Displaying PDF use interactive form UI and bind data source to context attribute. Now set the downloaded data from RFC to the context attribute. It will display the PDF.,

Services for Objects will not display attachments

Hi Gurus, we are currently set up to display attached documents using IXOS Live Viewer, but only a select number of users have this viewer due to licensing, etc.
The problem is, we have requirements for other users to display attachments in FI documents who do not have IXOS Live Viewer and therefore they are not able to display the attachments because of this. Since we will not pay for more live viewer licences, there must be a way to tell SAP to use the standard windows viewers installed on the machine, if the first choice (Live viewer) isn't installed? I have looked through the customizing for this answer, and I think I've found where it's configured to use live viewer, but I dont' know how to config it to use something else, if live viewer isn't available. Your help would be much appreciated.

It is my understanding that the IXOS licensing is based on users retrieving of documents not necessarily the viewer so the licensing implications of having non-IXOS viewers accessing documents using the generic archivelink viewer is still likely to result in licensing implications if an audit is conducted at any stage.
The transaction for specifying the viewer is the OAA3 and OAG4.
