Display custom Subview in completed tasks

Hi,
Is it possible to display custom subview in "Completed  Tasks" in UWL?
I have a custom subview which is visible for items when "New and In Progress Tasks" dropdown option is selected.
Unfortunately this subview is not visible for items  when  "Completed Tasks" dropdown option is selected.
It seems that only the standard subviews (for example "Collaboration tasks") are visible when "Completed Tasks" option is selected?
Is this the standard behaviour?
Regards,
Ladislav

Hi
in my approver list when i choose completed tasks option it is giving the followng error "unable to perform the request try again if still persists contact your system admiistrator"
When i checked UWL config file there is no item type defined with <item type = "uwl.completed task instead it is having <item type ="uwl.task" can u please let me know how to get the completed tasks.
Thanks in advance

  • What is the best practice to display info of completed task in process flow

    Hi all,
I'm starting to study BPM modeling with CE7.1 EHP1. Thanks to the tutorial and example on SDN site and I can easily build my own process in NWDS and deploy to server, start it, finish it.
I like the new runtime which can show a BPMN diagram to the processors. However, I can't find a way to let the follow up processor to review the task result completed in previous step. I'm more familiar with Guided Procedure, and know there is "Display Callable Object" which can used to show some info of a completed task when the processor/owner/admin/overseer click on a completed task.  Where is the feature in BPM ? What is the best practice to show such task information in BPM environment.
For example, A multiple level approval process, the higher level approver need to know the comment written by the previous approver. Can he read this information from process flow ?
I think it is very important feature for a BPM platform. In Guided Procedure, such requirement can be done with Display Callable Object + View Permission, and you just need some coding for the UI. If BPM is superior to GP, I think there must be a way to achieve this, I just do not know how ?
Can anyone shed me some light on it ?

    Oliver,
    Thanks for your quick reply.
Yes, Notes and Attachment CAN BE USED for the purpose. But I'm still looking for a more elegant solution.
With the solution of using Notes/Attachment, the processor need to give input at two places : the task UI and Note/Attach , with similar or same data. It is really annoying.
Is there any SAP BPM real-world deployment ? None of customer has the requirement ?

  • Customizing Complete Task email notification

    Hello all
I have an orchestration that makes use of Complete Task email endpoint, so an actor is able to continue the process by submitting
data from a PDF form he got via email.
Everything works fine, save for the fact that the end-user wants to receive the notification ("Task successfully completed") in another
    format, maybe even translated.
Is there a way to customize this email template?
    I'm using LC ES update 1 (8.2)
    Thank you

    Hi,
Here is just a though:  Place the "EmailService" component from "Foundation" category in your process where you want to send the notification email, then go to its "Properties > Contents" to customize the email message.
Jasmin, can you confirm if it work this way.
    Thanks,
    Han Dao

  • Cannot Uncomplete Completed task exception

    Hi All,
When i approve a request and the provisioning workflow is triggered. Now due to an error in the provision flow task , the whole process is rolled back. But I am getting this error--
    DOBJ.SCHTM_INVALID_COMPLETED_CHANGE
    Cannot uncomplete a completed task.
Is their any restriction for Rollback on the completed tasks in the Approval and Provisioning workflow.
Any pointers to this issue will be helpful...
    TIA,
    Andy

I did some investgation and figured out that there is no standard way to invoke an already completed Task. Therefore for our requirement I have proposed a new solution.
I am storing the Workitem Id, when the task gets created, in a custom table along with all the data which is necessary for the I-View display.
To enable users to open the I-View of the task they already completed and take a print out of the I-View etc, I have designed another application. and in this application I am using the Workitem Id to read which completed task they want to view.
See if this works for you.

  • Completed Task cannot be launched again from the UWL.

    Here is the situation.
The identified agent clicked the task in the UWL.
Task was launched in a new window and opened an ABAP webdynpro application correctly.
Agent then approved the task using the approve button in the application. Task was thus completed.
Now the agent pulled the "Completed Tasks" from the Show dropdown on the Tasks tab in the UWL.
The task which the agent approved earlier showed up.
But when the agent clicked this link in the UWL. The application would not be launched again.
The task preview does appear but the agent wants to the same application form displayed again to confirm what they have approved.
Any ideas how this can be done. I remember we could do that in the PCR application on ISR framework.

  • WUI Specification - How to Define Custom Subview for General Data?

SAP System Component Ver.: EHP6 FOR SAP ERP 6.0
In relation to Customizing activity "Define Subviews for General Data" under Logistics - General > Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) > PLM Web User Interface > Recipe Development > Specification Management > Specification > Specification Master
General Data - Specification Management - SAP Library
If possible, what is the best approach to add a Custom Subview?
So far, I've done the ff.:
    1. Create Custom Subview ZWDC (Implemented interface = IF_FPM_UI_BUILDING_BLOCK) and its Z config
    2. Append a fixed value to standard SAP Domain /PLMB/SPC_TAB_HEAD (ex. ZSUBVIEW)
    3. Specify subview ZSUBVIEW to be displayed according to the specification type in the Customizing activity (above)
    4. Create enhancement implementation in standard SAP Component Configuration /PLMU/WDC_SPC_OIF_CFG (in /PLMU/WDA_SPC_OIF: /PLMU/WDA_SPC_OIF_CFG)
    5. Add Subview ZSUBVIEW under Main View General Data.
After saving the step 5 above, the system automatically renamed the Subview ID entered.
    Ex. ZSUBVIEW became ZSUBVIEW_0050568F00051EE480A96E03E55B9E5E
When I ran Display Specification in WUI for the Spec Type where subview ZSUBVIEW has been defined, the ZSUBVIEW does not appear.
My hunch is that it is caused by /PLMU/WDC_SPC_OIF_CFG Subview ID (i.e. system-generated ZSUBVIEW_0050568F00051EE480A96E03E55B9E5E) not matching the "Define Subviews for General Data" setting in Customizing (i.e. ZSUBVIEW).
As Alternative solution, I changed step 4 above by creating Z copies of the std app config /PLMU/WDA_SPC_OIF_CFG and comp config /PLMU/WDC_SPC_OIF_CFG, before doing step 5. In step 5, the system did not automatically rename the Subview ID entered. An additional step (6) is to change settings via transaction LPD_CUST, for app /PLMU/WDA_SPC_OIF config from /PLMU/WDA_SPC_OIF_CFG to the Z copy. With this, the ZSUBVIEW appears.
I would still prefer the enhancement implementation but I couldn't make it work and don't know what I'm missing. Any expert thoughts/inputs out there?
    Thanks in advance.

Yes its something on the similar lines but looks like this comparator needs to be at some specific place.
I tried to implement comparator interface in the custom domain data type class but it still throws the same exception.
Looks like RowComparator needs to be defined somewhere. any idea where?

  • Can Lightning pin a completed task to the day completed on the calendar so it always shows up if I click on the day?

This may be already doable, but I don't know how. It would be convenient to show completed tasks pinned to the calendar day completed. I know that if you switch to the task mode, the completed tasks and the date completed is displayed, but it would enhance the operation, if these completed tasks were displayed in the task panel whenever I highlighted the completion date on the calendar when in the calendar mode.

    Hi Big_T,
I am not sure, this is what I found about how to use Lightning [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/lightning-user-interface] and it sounds like you could add more to that article. If you would like please add to the article what you find, because I am sure others would love to know how to do this too!
    Actually you can do this!
    # Go to View
    # Go to Calender
    # then go to Current View
    # Tasks in View and select show completed Tasks
I knew it was there somewhere.

  • Unable to perform the request error while selecting completed tasks in UWL

    Hi,
When user is selecting the Completed Task in the UWL, the below error is displaying

While selecting completed tasks in the drop down, it is showing "Completed Tasks(30)". But after selecting "Completed Tasks(30)" from the drop down, the above error message is getting.
    How can we resolve this??
Note: We are using EP 7.0 SP 17. When I checked in sdn, I found that there is a problem with completed tasks earlier to sp14. But in SP14, this issue was fixed. But why we are facing this issue?

  • Complete Task with Payload Problem  -- no Human Task Drop Handler

I'm reading section 26.4.1 of Developer’s Guide for Oracle SOA Suite 11g Release 1 (11.1.1) E10224-01 where it refers to figure 26-5 Human Task Drop Handler for Creating the Task Display Form of section 26.4 Creating a Task Display Form.
I've generated taskDetails1.jspx. I highlight Task as in the figure and right click in askDetails1.jspx (design tab) but I don't get a Create JSF page dialog as in the figure.
I get a dialog with Insert Before Show Detail Spacer ... etc (no Create /Human Task/Complete Task with payload etc)
Do I need to position within a particular element ? or is this a bug ? wrongly documented?

Hi Diana, thanks for your reply.
You're probably right about 2 different error messages.
To the 1st one: I'm sure that status task is Assigned (to me). I received an email and I also reply on that email.
To error log: I found out that error log appears when I enable email endpoint on Complete Task service. But I managed to solve this problem. I set wrong user. Now I have here the same user as is written in login-config.xml so log seems to be ok.
So I created new task and tried to complete it via email. Now I receive email with another error:
LiveCycle ES has tried to process your request and encountered the following error:
    com.adobe.idp.dsc.provider.service.email.impl.EmailProviderException: Error getting user context
This response to your original email

    Body:Complete

And to the last point: email endpoint is set up with TestPOP3@mydomain and user receiving email has jpetrla@mydomain. I use Lotus Notes as email client, I tried another account with gmail, but the result was same.
Now I really don't know to do...

  • Complete task button Workspace

Hi, Im a newbie in Livecycle and I have an issue.
I designed a process with human tasks. For each, they have a PDF form file I designed in their workspace. But I don't know how to add a complete task button. I do not see it in their workspace, so they can't complete their task. Do I have to setup it in the process diagram or in the Form designer?
    Regards.

In Form Designer add the Process Fields object and the Form Bridge Object from the Custom palette of the Object library.

  • Request: Stop synching completed tasks

Completed Tasks are still stored in Outlook. Ovi Suite synchronizes maybe a couple of 100 completed tasks from ages ago and there's no way to tell it _not_ to synchronize completed tasks. My Nokia 6110 takes several seconds until it displays the tasks. FYI PC Suite had the option to not sync completed tasks.
Ovi Suite 2.2.0.245 (and all previous versions)

I just got my Nokia phone and have discovered the same problem. Even though ask it to only sync +/- 1 month I still get a massive list of completed tasks from over a year ago. Does Nokia have a fix for this???

  • ICI - How to display custom error messages in SAP CRM

    Hello,
we are working on a custom Contact Center which interfaces with SAP CRM Version 7 with Enhancement Package over ICI.
The basic call functions like accepting, hanging up, holding and retrieving are fully implemented and are working already.
Our goal is to display error messages in the CRM so that clients know there is something wrong, for example why he can't be log in successfully (e.g. the telephony server isn't reachable).
We already found the ICI Documentation file which provides us the CRM SOAP error codes and tried to send SOAP Fault messages, but never got
    them to screen.
Please find an attached example screenshot what we mean exactly, reproduced by trying to make a call with CRM user while BCM CDT isn't
    running in the background.
Regarding to this topic we've the following questions:
    - Is it possible to display custom error messages on the CRM or is this functionality limited to SAP?
    - Could you provide us some further information on how to use this feature exactly (implementation details?) and how the SOAP XML should look like to get it work?
    Thank you in advance!

I need to create an entity adapter and attach an error handler with the adapter? or can i handle that in the event handler itself. I coulnt find any api for handling errorsYou can do it both ways but since we are talking about event handler now, then in 9.x you need to extend com.thortech.xl.client.events.tcBaseEvent class for creating a event handler. In tcBaseEvent class there are various flavors of handleError method. So use that as per my note earlier and you should be good.

    Hi all,
Is there someone here who've encountered having the need to display custom error message in an enhancement spot? Could you help me please.. I can't find any reference from the net.

    Regards,

    Hi,
The error message can be only displayed in enhancement spots based on thr program flow.
You have to determine where its getting called for ex: in PBO or PAI etc.....
You have to find the right place to display the error messages . for ex: using a memory id ......
