Display for: timer sets itself, no matter what
I was prompted to download an update to Captivate today. So,
I did. Now I am having problems overriding the "Display for:"
timer. It keeps setting itself, I need to override it to something
less than what it thinks it needs. Is there a way to turn this off.
I was not having this problem until I downloaded the update...so,
I'm frustrated.
What am I doing: I want to create a slide, and the user can
click/not click on the correct area. If not a failure message pops
up for 0.2 secs. Then, I advance to the next slide and I display a
text box with the same error message and add some animation.
However, I am having a hard time gettng the Display for: timer set
to 0.2, it keeps setting itself to 4 or 5 seconds. Is anyone else
having this issue? Are you able to get around it. Otherwise, I'll
have to try to remove the update.

I don't know if that was the issue or not. (I wound up
restoring my system because I wasn't able to be productive).
However, here is what I know, I NEVER unchecked that option to
begin with. What was happening was that I would go to the Options
page and manually type my change in the Display For: field. Then,
I'd hit Apply, and it would change the time to what it calculated
and not keep my manual changes. I would expect that no matter what,
if I made a manual change, then it should keep it. Unless the new
version enforced that option differently. But, why would they do
that...

Just open System Preferences>Users & Groups and unlock the preference pane with your root password.
Set the New Account to be an Administrator and fill in the rest of the data and then click "Create User".
I would suggest using this user to be YOU with admin capabilities. I wouldn't use the root user - too much damage could occur if you're not sure what you're doing. If you have files, etc., that you want to move to this account, simply but them in the Shared folder - or if you 'rescued' some old files and the like from your 'trashed' MBP, you can put them in your NEW admin account folders.

Does an external hard drive ALWAYS need to be connected to my mbp (OS 10.10.1) with retina display for Time Machine? Or can it be connected once a week or whenever I want? I used to have an external drive always connected to my previous mbp, but it made moving my mbp around a bit of a hassle with it connected...
When the backup drive is not connected, some of the free space on the internal drive will be used to make local snapshots, which are backup copies of recently deleted files. Local snapshots will protect you from unintended file deletions, but not from a drive failure. You should only go as long between backups as you're willing to lose data. If losing a week's worth of work is acceptable to you, then that backup frequency is OK. Otherwise, it isn't.

Splitting DefineFont into the various DefineFont 1, 2, 3, etc SWF tag formats but retaining a common base DefineFont class so that embedded fonts are still retained as symbols for the SWF dictionary no matter what version of the SWF tag is used.
Also improving [Embed] so that it can recognize .TTC files as assets (previously these were only recognized through CSS @font-face rules).
QE: Yes, please add a test case for using [Embed] to embed fonts from a TTC file in addition to our tests for @font-face. Note that the AFEFontManager must be configured for this scenario.

I just took in my macbook to the apple store to clean the fan because it was starting make a little noise but instead of making it stop it sounds like an airplane about to take off all the time, it doesn't matter what i'm doing. I dont know what to do now? any ideas on how to make it stop?
take it back asap. If it wasn't doing it before they cleaned the fans, they may have accidentally done something that is causing this behavior.

This is probably occuring because your Mac is attempting to wirelessly sync with a device. Try unchecking the checkbox that reads "Open iTunes when device is connected" (this option can be found under the general page of iTunes when you have a device connected).

Hopefully it can help you:
1. Try remove all SELECT statement within LOOP, replace with select all data before LOOP using For ALL ENTRIES.
2. Try use READ TABLE using BINARY SEARCH. Don't forget to SORT the table according your Search Key.

Column Header Text not displaying for multi-set column block
Hello,
I have assigned a key figure set to a column block in a report writer report in ECC 6 using table FAGLFLEXT with both additional text functionality use and without use of additional text.
I can't get the column headings text for these key figure sets in the column block to appear on a report writer report.

I plotted 3 series in the first region, including one series with no data for one period.
I plotted the fourth series in the second region, which has no data for 2 months. When I try to plot this in the first chart, nothing is displayed.

Internet failing after random period of time on 4S, no matter what I do.
iPhone 4S on EE shows full signal and 3G connection yet internet stops working after 5-30 minutes, works again with restarts or if I turn airplane mode on/off.
Phoned EE help multiple times:
Tried resetting network settings, worked to begin with then dropped out again (3G signal never drops though)
They changed some things their end, same results

Tried a full restore from backup, same result
