Display Language- Russian

I just got a new Blackberry Style and I need to change the display language to Russian. I know you can add languages using the desktop manager but Russian does not appear as an option. I have tried to update and install the latest versions of BlackBerry 6OS but still no Russian support. Does anyone know if this is even possible? And if so where can I download the language pack? Thanks in advance to anyone who knows the answer!

Hi there,
You might need to see if you can find a version of the OS that has multilanguage support. Now then, a quick check of the Sprint BlackBerry download site shows that the Sprint OSes are multilanguage, so try downloading the most up to date OS to your computer, install it, then see if you can add the language files using the BlackBerry Desktop Software after:

I hope that helps!

    Can I find that dictonary?
Or Can I create the dictonary by myself and how can I do that?
There are no such instructions in the phone guide.

i also got mine from the same link so maybe these are just the available languages for the device...maybe you can ask your linksys contact if it can be included as a feature request...

    Hi Treenr3,
Sounds like you have been on the right track with regard to troubleshooting this issue. It may be worth going over the font troubleshooting in the following article, just to double check (it refers to a previous version of iTunes, but the troubleshooting steps should be similar).
iTunes 9: Font text is incoherent or appears in a different language

It may also be worth trying some isolation troubleshooting in new test user account with just a couple of the tracks that are having issues to see if it persists.

  • I can't change the display language on my HP Color LaserJet CP1518ni

I have a HP Color LaserJet CP1518ni printer that I inherited from an employee who is no longer at the company. The display screen on the printer is not showing in English, it's in some language I do not recognize (and neither does anyone else). I want to change the display language to English but the manual only shows you how to do that on the display, which I cannot read because it's not in English, hence my dilemma. Does anyone know of a way to change the display language through the computer?
    Thanks

    InventoryLady,
Yes that is what I did.  I do not know the language that it is currently set at, so the recommendations were from using the front panel menu. The OK button is the OK button on the front panel, that would not be in another language, it is the button in between the left and right arrow- See image below #6:
Once you have hit the OK button, you can complete the steps in my earlier recommendation. Again because I do not know which language it is currently set at, I am guiding you the best I can. As for selecting the English language, I suggest using Google Translate to find out which language it is currently set at and see what their word for English is.
If you have any more questions, please let me know.

  • Script to automate the display language on windows server

    Hi,
I'm looking for a script which should change the windows display language from non-english to english (vizversa).
    Here is the scenario:
On windows server 2008 R2 I have two language installed - Japanese and English with the help of MUI packs available on microsoft site. The native language of windows server 2008 R2 is Japanese. Consider there are 10 sys admins only knows
Japanese but not english. Similarly there are 10 sys admins knowing only English. I  being english administrator, i should each time go to regional setting in the control panel and click on change display language to english. After
I finish my task I need to set back the language to japanese(native).
I'm looking for script which can auotmate this process.
    Objective:
The script should automatical change the language to Japanese when I logoff from the system.
Here is the steps to reach "Change Display language" on windows server 2008
Go to control Panel > Category view (on right side top ) > System and Security > Clock ,Language and Region > Under “Regional Language” > Change display
language > Go to Tab “Keyboards and Languages” > Look for the dropdown menu “Choose a display language” and choose the appropriate language you prefer from the dropdown list
Kindly note this menu/option is available for Vista,Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008. This option is also available on Windows XP/Server 2000/2003 provided the LIP/MUI is installed.
    Thanks

    Guys,
Forgive me, but I think you are making this far too complicated. Using a script to achieve this is, in my view the wrong tool, and a little dangerous. If your logoff script fails to run for any reason, 11 Japanese sysadmins will be waving Samurai swords
    at you :-).
There is a single Group Policy setting that will do exactly what you want on Vista, W7, W2K8 & R2.
Create a new Group Policy object ("English_interface", for example.
    Edit the new policy object
Drill down to "User Configuration, Policies, Administrative Templates, Control Panel, Regional and Language Options"
Pick the setting "Restricts the UI languages Windows should use for the selected user" and Enable it.
Drop down the "Restrict users to the following language" and pick "English"
    Click "OK"
Link your new GPO somewhere in the OU hierarchy that contains the English user
If other (Japanese?) users are also in the same container, you can filter application of the GPO by security group so that the policy can only be read and applied by the English group.
That's all you need to do!
As a point of principle. I ALWAYS install my OS in US English then add languages, and set the locals to use their own language. This is because service packs and hotfixes invariably arrive for US English first, and some hot fixes are NEVER translated.
I'm just doing this for a single W7 build in English, to be deployed in 6 countries, with 7 different languages and 9 different keyboard layouts. Fun...

  • Server 2012 R2 Display Language?

    Hi,
I have a problem to change display language back to default en-US on one of our Windows 2012 R2 servers. It is actually a Domain Controller. During setup the display languages was set to sv-SE.
The server is patched up to date.
When I now try to change to en-US as display language, it says that it is availeble for download, fine. I click download and install, and it installs with no errors.
I go back to language settings, it still says availeble for download.
I have also tried with lpksetup and manually install the lp, but with no success:
    And Powershell:
    Set-WinUILanguageOverride en-US
Funny thing it says display language en-US:
But as you can see, it is not...
    Something I missed here?

    Hi affeee,
To provide a full UI, a partially localized language pack includes a base language to localize those parts of the interface that are not localized by a partially localized language
    pack.
LIPs are partially localized language packs for emerging or minority language markets where a fully localized version of Windows is not available
Language packs contain the text for the dialog boxes, menu items, and helpfiles that you see in Windows.
For some regions, language interface packs (LIPs) can provide additional translations for the most widely-used dialog boxes, menu items, and helpfile content. LIPs rely on a
parent language pack to provide the remainder of the content. Please refer the following KB to install the language pack and LIP.

  • Removing English IME while keeping Windows Displaying Language as English?

Until Windows 7, Windows Displaying Language (WDL) and IMEs were independent. It was possible to set the WDL to English and use only Japanese IME. From Windows 8, they seem to be combined. If I set WDL to English, I cannot find a way to remove English
    IME.
Many foreign IMEs contain "English" mode. For example, the Japanese IME has direct input mode, and the Korean IME has English mode. So, English IME is not necessary, if you are using those IMEs. Having English IME is annoying because it adds another
complexity when you switch the IME using Shift+Alt or Windows + Space.
Is there any hack to remove the English IME while keeping WDL as English?

    Hi,
Yes, this is by design on Windows 8.1. Unless you add another input method for this language package, it cannot be removed. It would keep one input method for this language package at least.
So far there is no any other method to remove IME and keep display language.

  • Change display language according to the user programmatically

How to change the site displaying language according to the user ? Let say I've drop-down to select language in a web page according to that whole site display language change and also user's language in user profile need to change. How to do that in using
    server object model programmatically.

    Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to display language according to the user.
First, we can find out the current culture of the logged in user based on
    LCID.
    System.Threading.Thread.CurrentThread.CurrentUICulture.LCID
Then you can set the language based on the LCID.

  • Screen Display Language of Material Descriptions in PO vs Output Documents

    Greetings Experts,
We have the requirement to display material descriptions in purchase order screens as well as other screens in language dictated by user setting and not the business partner preference. Currently, when we log on as user with English language setting and create purchase order for vendor with a Korean language setting, the material description in the screen is displayed in Korean. So it appears that system ignores the UI preference and displays the material description in the vendor's language/comunication preference. We see this same behavior in other SAP transactions as well. Is there a way for display language for material description to be dictated by user logon preference while retaining ability to output documents that are required in vendor's preferred language?

    Hi
The material description will come from the material master record, so whic language you are entering in the material master it automatically pick to the purchasing documents.
If you need material description in different language you can do this in material master itself goto additional data and maintain there.

  • Adding a display language - Curve 8330

The device Help says a display language can be added using the application loader tool of the Desktop Manager, and it refers to the Desktop Software Online Help.
I have checked both the Desktop Manager Help & the Desktop Software Online Help but cannot locate any info or instructions on adding a display language.
My device software ver is 4.5.0.127, my Desktop Manager ver is 4.7.0.32.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

If you download and install the handheld OS, you can then use the Desktop Manager's Application Loader to install additional languages on the device. You can download the OS from here

  • About the Vendor's Name Display Language

    Dear Experts
I want to know is there have any methods that can let the Vendor name's display language equal with the R3 login Language???
Exp. when I login R3 with English, and create PO by ME21N, the Vendor's display name shows English automatically.
when I login R3 with Japanese, and create PO by ME21N, the Vendor's display name shows Japanese automatically.
    I created a Vendor 'ZTEST001' by the T-Code: FK01,
    In the default screen,
I input an English Vendor Name into the Name column(LFA1-Name1),and I input a Japanese Vendor Name into the Name4 column(LFA1-Name4).  At the End, I setted  the Language 'English'.
    In the Internat. Versions screen,
I input a Japanese Vendor Name into the Name column(LFA1-Name1),and I input an English Vendor Name into the Name4 column(LFA1-Name4).  At the End, I setted  the Language 'Japanese'.
And then I logged into R3 with Japanese, by used ME21N I created an Inter-Co. PO documents, and I found the Vendor's name is English, not Japanese....
    Also
I logged into R3 with English, by used ME21N I created an Inter-Co. PO documents, and I found the Vendor's name is also English.
    Best Regards.

    Finally,
I added some BAdI source codes into IF_EX_ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST~PROCESS_HEADER
to set English Vendor name for the vendor into 'Header text' automatically when user login R3 with English and to create  the PO.

    Hi,
Can someone tell me how to display language key (0LANGU) in the query? I want to display which language (English or French) is used for material description in BW report. Thx.

    hi,
check if the infoobject is kept as lang dependent or not  for material text, else you need to create a masterdata attribute with text and lang keys and do corresponding mapping, so then it can be displayed in your report
