Display link in tableviewcolumn

Hello,
i have one question about how a link is displayed in a tableview column.
i can display the link in the column - not the problem so far.
but i don't like the look, because it is so close to the borders of the column.
wenn i display the text (not al a link) then there is little more space between the border of the column and the text
but if i display it as a link there is no space at all - doesn't look good
i hope that somebody can help me...

percentage does not work (maybe my old IE)
even if I make the column very big (fix Pixelvalue) the padding ist still the same
i solved it now at event 'onManipulation' and set the padding...

Display Linked Data Source

I created a Linked Data Source in SharePoint Designer 2010. Is there any way to display the Link Data Source with a web part outside of SharePoint Designer? I do not have enough rights to create a web part page in Designer. Thanks!

According to your description, my understanding is that you want to display linked data source in a web part outside the SharePoint Designer.
I suggest you can create a data view web part in SharePoint Designer to achieve it.
If you don't have enough permission to create web part page, you may need to set the corresponding permission level for you.

Mail 3.0 not displaying linked images

Mail 3.0.4 not displaying linked images (newsletters etc.).
"Display remote images in HTML messages" is checked.
Please advise how to fix it -- because this issue I am missing important information.

High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) Errors in iTunes and Display Link Drivers

Since August 2014 after an upgrade to iTunes, my 2010 white unibody macbook has been unable to run ANY videos bought from the iTunes store citing HDCP issues with my INTERNAL screen. I tried external screens, TVs, resetting PRAM, ... etc to no avail. I found a mention of Displaylink drivers as a possible issue.
I use Display Link drivers to run my ASUS MB168B+ external USB screen (which I love). I uninstalled the drivers and voila! the videos work again. Sadly, my screen won't run any more...
I am posting this in hope that the iTunes team and the Display Link team partner up to fix this issue which seems to be affecting a number of Mac users around the world.

The problem is probably your internet connection not the Apple TV.
The first thing to check would be your internet download speed, you can do this at www.speedtest.net. If you do this using a computer connected by ethernet, you should get a fairly good indication of your incoming speed from the ISP. If you are using a device connected by wifi you will need to take account of the portion of your internal network being used and the effect it might have on the result you are seeing. Another option is to access your modem (see your manual to determine how to do this) through your web browser or specialist software supplied by your ISP, the software on the modem itself will often tell you your connection speeds somewhere.
1080p HD movies require a recommended speed of 8 Mbps, 720p HD movies require a recommended speed of 6 Mbps, while SD movies require a recommended speed of 2.5 Mbps.

Uncompressed video into corevideo via display link

Hi all, I am not sure if this is the right place to post this question, and if not I would appreciate it if you could show me where to go. I am working on an application that involves real time video editing with Core Framework in Cocoa. For testing we basically have a DVI cam hooked up to a Mac Book Pro and need to be able to edit the stream it produces. I successfully got the video into quick time using QTKit, but am having trouble aquiring the frames with a display link. The example in the Core Video guide shows it initializing the video source from file with this method:
- (id)initWithFilePath:(NSString*)theFilePath
, but I need to get the frames I can already access into the display link for OpenGL rendering and Core Image effects. If anyone has any ideas or advice I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

Email with document display link?

My req..is
When sales document created I just need to send the email with Document display link. When user clicks the link it should open the document in display mode.
I created a workflow with - BUS2032 -Create Event
So now what kind of step I should use to just send email with document link?
Do I need to use email 'SEND EMAIL' or ' ACTIVITY' step?
Can anyone give me idea?

But I am looking only email notification (not the workitem). Just send the email with link. When user clicks the link the document should open in display mode and workflow end with after sending the email.
Actually I need this for BUS2030 also (Inquiry Creation) . If any inquiry created then I need to send the email to user with link.
Is it possible to send Document link in the email step? If so how to send the link in the email?
Or I have to create Activity Step and insert BUS2030-dispaly OR BUS2032-display in method node?

Cannot display linked initiative

Hi!
In details about an objective in our goal diagram are listed several initiatives. By clicking on an initiative it appears the linked initiative. By clicking on one specific initiative it appears the warning message "Cannot display linked initiative; contact your System Administrator. Initiative may have been deleted, or you may not have permission to view it."
My user is assigned to all application groups.
I checked the table CPMS_INITIATIVE. The User-ID in field CPMS_USER_ID_AUTH doesn´t exist in table CPMS_USER.
Have someone an idea why this initiative is shown in the detail about this objective?

Hello,
It may be cache issue. If you have IE 7 or 8, there is an option to "preserve favorites website data", if this is turned on then any site in your favorites will not get the browser cache cleared when you delete temporary internet files. See if this option is on. if it is on, turn it off and clear the browser cache.
IE>Tools>internet options>browsing history>delete.
A quick test in 7.5 SP7, where an init was created and the link was on the goal diagram which functions. Then the init was manually deleted and the link on the goal diagram was removed after a refresh.
That is the way it should work.

Displaying Link UI element in a column of table.

Hi All
I am displaying Name of all my Partner's as Link to action UI Element in a column of table. If user clicks on a Link, he should be able to navigate to a Portal.
I am able to display all my partner's as Link in a column of table but my problem here is how program will understand that which Link user has clicked here.
Please help.

How to display links in a text-field in Portal forms?

In a database the content in a varchar2 field could include a link:
'Shortname <a ref="#" title="Full or long item name">Long name</a>'
In a Portal report this field is displayed like:
Shortname {color:#0000ff}_Long name_

where the last part is a link. When pointing to this link with the mouse, the full item name is displayed. If this field is displayed in a Portal form, however, it is displayed exactly as written first:
Shortname <a ref="#" title="Full or long item name">Long name</a>
Could anybody tell how this field could be displayed as a link in Portal forms? The field itself does not need to be updated, it serves as an identifier for trailing fields in the details of a MD-form. If the long name should be displayed in the field, you would need to scroll horizontal to see the other details.

Yes your point is clearer now. You wish to see an abridged form of a field data with the facility to see the full data when you hover on that data. just like what we see sometimes in hyperlinks.
Both of the methods I told you work to display a modified data value* (without modifying them in the databse) and I floated them after testing. Have used slightly different functionalities in some applications a while back.
To get the 'mouse hover' display, you may want to use the java-script event-handlers of the form elements.
Both methods work with the premise that we do not want to change field data in DB; only displayed-data needs to be different.

Displaying linked pages in an area of the screen, using CSS?

Imagine that I have a column on the left of the page that has a list of links to other pages. When you click on any of those links, then to the right the linked page is shown.
I know how to do this with frames, but I'm trying to figure this one out using CSS.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Indesign CC does not display linked PDF image on screen

On Mac1 (10.6.8) When I imported a PDF file into Indesign CC 9.1 as a linked image - the image would come in as usual, however the image would not appear on my screen. Only a blank page box.
I can see the thumbnail image of the imported PDF in the links palette correctly.
However, on my page it appears as a blank box.
Selected Hi-res preview, and still it appears as a blank box.
I export to PDF, and the image is there as it should be on the exported PDF.
I tried the same image on Mac2 (10.8.3) with Indesign CC.
The imported image appears correctly on the page. (no blank box)
I saved that file and opened it on Mac1 that is having the problem displaying the image.
Mac1 again does not display the image, instead it is a blank box.
Tried the same image import in Cs6. No issue on either mac1 or mac2
What could be causing the imported PDF not to display on the page in Indesign CC?
Has anyone else come across this problem?

How to display links in the main page

Here is a simple question from an EP beginner-
I am working on a demo EP site for our company (EP 6.0 SP9). After the user logs onto the Portal, I want to display a main page with standard Header and Nav bars, and then (in the inner page?) display a list of links to iViews. The iViews are SAP transaction iViews and url iViews, most of which I have already created and they work fine in preview mode.
The question is, how to I modify the main page to display the links and maybe a company logo? Is this an addition to the framework page or something completely different? In a previous life I created ASP/HTML/javascript pages so coding would not be a problem.

Hi Alan,
If u want to display the iviews to a user you want to create roles.
First Create all the required iviews,then create pages. Add the iviews to the page. Create workset and add page to the work set. Then create roles and add the workset to the roles. Dont forget to set the Entry point property of role to YES.
Go to User admin>> select the user to whom u want to show the iviews and assign the role u created to the user.
Then log in as that user. The iviews will be displayed to the user.
