Display moves around with the mouse

I have a Powerbook G4. This morning I hooked up the laptop to an LCD projector (like I have done many times before) but the projector wouldn't accept the laptop. Needless to say, after I unhooked it from the LCD projector, my display screen moves around. If I move my mouse/cursor up, the display moves down. If I move it left, the display moves right. I have tried to restart the computer to see if that would work, it didn't. I rehooked it to another LCD projector to see if it would stop moving, that didn't work either. When I go into System Preferences & then Displays, if I try to change the Resolution, that will change but then I see a light blue area on the screen for a second until I click on the mouse again and the screen starts moving again when I move the mouse. It's like it is missing part of the screen. Plus my info. is somewhat blurry. I have never had this happen before. If anyone knows how to fix this and could please let me know, that would be great. I'd really appreciate it. Thank you so much!!!

Sounds like you've enabled Zoom under Apple menu -> System Preferences -> Universal Access, as that does a pan when you move the mouse.

When I select a single object in a layer and try to move it with the mouse, everything goes with...

I've been having this problem where I can't use the move tool with the mouse properly. I'll go and select a single item on a layer and then try to move it with the mouse (move tool). I've done this before and still do it all the time on Photoshop on my other machines. However, on my laptop it won't work. I grab the single object I want to move and the second I move it, it defaults to moving every single layer in my file. The only way to get around it is to use the arrows, but that's becoming laborious and frustrating.
Any ideas?

I know what you mean! This happened to me as well!
And one thing that I found useful is, if you want to directly select a layer without selecting from the layers pallete and without having autoselect enabled, just hold Ctrl and click on in directly in the image. This saved me a lot of time!

My Acrobat 9 Standard has stopped allowing me to move thumbnails with the mouse.

For some unknown reason my Acrobat 9 Standard has stopped allowing me to move the thumbnails with the mouse to change the order of a PDF document. I've tried reinstalling. I'm at my wits end on this one...

Try updating to version 9.5.2. I seem to remember that one of the earlier updates did this and a later update rectified the issue. I don't have that issue with 9.5.2

Photoshop CS5: Can't drag or move anything with the mouse

I'm having a very strange issue with Photoshop CS5 (both 32-bit and 64-bit)
When I go to draw anything or move anything, the canvas does not respond to mouse events at all. Right clicking doesn't work, dragging edges of the free transform box doesn't work, even the top menu bar (File, Edit, View, etc) does not detect when I mouse over from one menu selection to another (e.g. moving the mouse from "File" to "Edit")
Any ideas as to what might be causing this? just started yesterday night

I performed a System restore to a couple days ago and it seems to be working now. Very odd behavior
EDIT: The problem started up immediately again. Didn't do anything special, just continued scaling layers in photoshop and all of a sudden the mouse actions stopped having an effect on the canvas

How do I create an object that moves with the mouse?

I don't use Flash a lot, so things like this confuse me...
I'm trying to code so that an object, mostly likely a circle, moves
around when the mouse moves. Also, I want it to disappear when the

circle_mc is the instance name of the circle, so just change
it to be whatever you want it to be.
One thing with that, you may want to have the image centered
within the stage of the movieclip, otherwise it will appear to be
following the mouse by the corner of it.
This ain't no carny show, so your shenigans declaration is
void unless you can get a majority vote and brought your

Screen moves with the mouse !

Since few weeks the screen of my iMac G4 800mHz( Flat Panel 17") acts curiosly: It moves along with the mouse mouvement.
When I move the cursor to the right, the screen moves few pixels to the left.
Inversely, if I move it to the left, the screen moves to the right.
Same thing in the vertical axis.
I tried to change the resolution and the problem persists.
What should I do ?

It sounds like you have accidentally activated zoom.
You can disable zoom in System Preferences->Universal Access preference pane.

Controling the MC or animation with the mouse moviment

Hi folks... how are you?
I need some help... I did a cube on the 3DMAX and exported as
SWF and imported on flash... the animation i've made on the 3dmax
is working... my question is... there is a way to control the cube
moviment? like when mouse move to the right the cube moves to the
right and same for left side? i put a picture on each cube's face
and planing to use as a kind of menu.

Any way we can see this cube? Do you have this uploaded
anywhere?
If you are using the imported cube as a symbol, and give it
an instance name, you should be able to add a few lines of code to
move it with the mouse. But it doesn't sound as though this is what
you want. You want to control the full rotation. Maybe you need to
use your imported swf as a template for redrawing the cube in
Illustrator/Flash.

Drawning text/images in a JPanel and then resizing/moving it with the mouse

Hello ebverybody!
I need to be able to draw some text objects in a JPanel and then resize/move it with the mouse... How could I do that!? Same for some images loaded from jpg files...
Should I just paint the text and then repaint when the mouse selects it? How to do this selection?! Or should use something like a jLabel and then change it`s font metrics?!
I need to keep track of the upper left corner of the text/image, as well as the width/height of it. This will be recorded in a file.
The text/images need to smoothly move around the panel as the mouse drags when selectin an entity.. not just "click the entity, then click another point and the entity appears there as if by magic...":)
Please, tell the best way to do that!

Moving Images with the mouse

Sorry I am still fairly new to Java. I have a project due that will require me to move images with the mouse. And I was wondering if someone could give me the basics of doing this. Right now I only need to know how to move the image any where on the screen.

I try to delete these extra insertions, but the mouse will not release the clip.
Action I’ve taken: I’ve re-installed Premiere Elements 13. Problem remains.

I tried using the Guest Account on my Mac. In the Guest Account, Illustrator works perfect!
Then I started wondering what processes (tools/tweaks) I run by default on my account. Turned out the problem was called by a little background tool called RightZoom. RightZoom let's the green 'zoom' button always maximize your current window.
So thanks! Problem solved!

All of a sudden my diplay appears to be larger than the screen. The display scrolls with the mouse. How to correct?

My screen scrolls with the mouse to show the entire display. Looks like the display is larger than the monitor. Have no idea what teh cause ws but have been unable to correct. Any suggestions?

I'm having problems with iPad 2 and my smart cover. The attachment seems to be depolarized and it moves around causing the device to toggle and flash like its coming on or shorting. Anyone having problems?

When I try to attach it, it moves around causing the device to toggle in a way that looks like the camera flash. Anyone having problems? Help.

Update. My carrier says the antenna of my iPhone 4s is not so good as the one in the iPhone 3G. They can't solve the problem. Their signal is too weak for the 4s at places I spend most of my time. Not the answer I expected, but I'm free to choose an other carrier. Hope this will help.

Suddenly I cannot move messages to files by grabbing them with the mouse. I have used the programme for years but this has only happened once before. I have restarted my computer but it still does not work. I think it is a vital and necessary function.

I have a macbook pro and two monitors connected via matrox dualhead2go. The display is fine, but there is a lag with the mouse cursor. Matrox technical do not seem to have the answer, anyone else?

As in the question, everything works fine, but there is a lag with the mouse pointer, latency issue. I have seen on other forums this has been an issue, but with different solutions, and some with no solutions. Matrox technical team have no solutions for me unfortunately, so any similar user experiences would be good.
