Display Network activity in FBL3N

Hi
We would like to see the network activity in FBL3N. Is this possible? I've noticed that WBS element is available for display as a column, but not Network activity. Is there any settings via IMG or anything else that I can do to get this?

i am taking a shot in the dark, when you have a document that has both internal order and cost center.
the actual posting goes to the internal order and the cost center only has statistical posting.
I dont know, if this could cause an issue.
check the respective cost center line items, i am sure they should show statistical.
why dont you arrive at these postings from KSB1, give a cost center range or any hierarchy

Customer Enhancement in Project Network Activity

Hi Gurus,
I add a new subscreen in project network activity(cj20n). I use the structure CI_AFVU as field structure.
It contains two fields 1) CI_AFVU-ZZSALES_DOC
2) CI_AFVU-ZZSALES_ITEM.
The exit is CNEX0008 in which I have two function exit for PBO and PAI for that subscreen.
EXIT_SAPLCONW_002 for PBO
and EXIT_SAPLCONW_003 for PAI.
My problem is in PAI I am not able to import data from screen. I use the following code:
CNCI_AFVU_EXP-zzSALES_DOC = CI_AFVU-zzsales_doc.
CNCI_AFVU_EXP-zzSALES_ITEM = CI_AFVU-zzsales_item.
and one more thing is that Different Activity takes the same Value in both the customer fields which should be different. Although in debugging mode CI_AFVU display the values, but when I am trying the above code it give me a compile time error 'Field "CI_AFVU-ZZSALES_DOC" is unknown. It is neither in one of thespecified tables nor defined by a "DATA" statement . . . . . . . . . .'
I need a solution for that, Pls help.

How to remove a network activity for one employee from the worklist?

Hi,
We are using the SAP project system where project resources are assigned network activities. In the worklist in the ESS timesheet, the assigned network activities are displayed for the employee. The problem is when several employees are assigned for a network activity, and one of them no longer should register hours on this activity. How can you remove the assignment (using dates etc.) for only one person so that the network activity no longer is present in his worklist in the timesheet?

Well for this pernr you need to have a special coding to check for network and pernr.
other would be a simple way using cats0003 to validate data an employee records here you can have a individual check
for this pernr that he doesnt record for this activity and throw an error when he does! this is simpler

How to check plan line items for plan cost at network activity level? The plan cost is done in network activity in CJ20N.
I am not able to check using CJI4 or CJI9 report.

Hi Jess,
Have you checked the navigation part which is being displayed on left hand side of report S_ALR_87013565 and S_ALR_87013533.? There you have option to check transaction currency and object currency when you double click on it.
In case if it is not being displayed under navigation. Then you can bring them on from transaction code CJE2. For eg: Report group for S_ALR_87013533 is 12KST1C. Double click on it and it will open up to do changes in report layout and many more. There you also have options to bring on transaction currency too. Similarly, you can check for other report groups as well just by checking the report description.
But I am not sure if suits your requirements. Wait for other experts to comment on this.

Tracking Internet/ Network Activity

Conky is showing me that I have a network activity of around 16 k/s, but I have no clue where that is coming from. I have a script running in conky which is supposed to get emails from Gmail, but it should only be fetching them in time periods of about 10 minutes.
Is there a way to keep track of what program is sending stuff out and receiving data? I have turned off all my messengers. Only Firefox is currently on with the Archlinux website being displayed (with scripts turned off).

CJ20n - No authorization to display network and activities

Hi Gurus,
I am facing an authorization issue with network and activities.
When a network was called in transaction in CN23, it looks okay and displayed network and activities accurately.
When I opened the PROJECT in CJ20N and expand it to reach that network and activity. There network and activities are apprearing in RED, means I am not authorized to view them. Where as when I opened the WBS element in CJ20n to which Network and activites are linked, there again I found everything looks Okay.
So the problem only occurs when I am trying to expand project structure through project definition. In this case all networks and activities with in the project are appearing in Red color(no authorization).
Does anyone has ever come across this situation? Please share your thoughts ?

This eror is related to ACL in network profile.
Please check that "No ACL" is selected in network profile configuration. If yes, you can execute transaction CNACLD- Delete Access Control List entry to see if any user id is set up for ACL for the project or network. If so, select all and delete them.
It should work with this solution.

we can block the status profile by using network type. Define your own order types in txn kot2_opa.same will be displayed in txn opsc with out status profile. assign the same network type in network profile.

Costs on internal network activity

Hi,
I use SAP ECC6, actually.
I created an internal network activity and I linked it a work center and an activity type.
When I run a report, every report, I don't see the costs relative to this network activity.
Please, could you help me?

Hi,
Please ensure you have followed following steps:
1. Assigned cost center and activity type on costing view of workcenter. After this assignment when you assign work center to activity, the activity type gets automatically populated.
2. Maintain rate for activity type in Tcode KP26. Take help of your FI consultant.
3. If your system is not calculating cost during saving of project, you need to manually calculate cost. Click on activity and press CtrlF10 to calculate cost and CtrlF11 to display cost.

Network Activity deleted

I have a Purchase Requisition, it is account assigned with a Network number. The activity of the Network is deleted using CJ20N. It consequently deleted the Purchase Requisition line item.
Is there a way to undelete the Network activity using CJ20N?

Hi,
In CJ20N >Goto> Settings->Options> Tick " Display Deleted Objects".
The deleted activity will now be seen in CJ20N with different colour.
Now you can select that activity->Edit> Status>Deletion Flag> Undo.

Network Activity Icon

MacBook Pals:
I am curious to know if there is an icon that can be added to the superior ribbon to show when there is network activity. This is one of the few thinks I like about Windows. With Windows, you have a small icon that blinks when the network is accessed. I know this can be done in the doc with Activity Monitor, but I don't like the EKG like display. I just want a little icon of a computer or something next to the airport icon. Does anybody know of such an add-on or icon that can be put there?

Undo of deletion flag for network activity

Dear Gurus,
When I am uploading the network activity from MSP, unfortunately deletion flag was set to all the activities and network. I undo the flag for network, but I couldn't find and activity under the network. Also, I am unable to create with the same number as well.
Kindly help me undo the deletion flag for the act ivies.

When you are in CJ20N, click settings and option, there select "Display deleted objects", now open your project, you will see activities with deletion flag status now. select and undo the deletion flag status.

Capacity Utilization by network activity for each period

Hi all,
How do i find out the capacity utilization at the network activity level. My requirement is to findout the remaining requirement/capacity of a workcenter for each period, which will be the cumulative value of the non utilized resources/hours for the previous months, based on distribution key.
The same functionality is there in CM07, but what is the exact functionality and how it can be reimplemented in a report?

Check if table KAKO helps. You may have to calculate the remaining capacity from available and utilised.

Network activity report printing

I can't print multiple pages of the network activity report. When I view multiple pages under the print option, one page shows up with a line across the bottom of the page.
Having problems with my Comcast cable loosing internet connection and want to show them a report over a week's time but can't get more than a page to print. The screen report shows it all,just can't print it.
I'm running 3.11.9139.94. Computer is Vista home edition.

How to use ShowValue within a UIX/JSP page to display an active link?

I am storing URL's in the DB and want to display them as active links on a UIX/JSP page. I thought that I had this working some time ago, but now it no longer works.
Using <bc4juix:RenderValue datasource="ds1" dataitem="myTextField" /> will display "http://www.otn.oracle.com" as an inactive link using UIX/XML which is expected.
Using <jbo:ShowValue datasource="ds1" dataitem="myTextField" /> will display an active link using if using BC4J/JSP, which is expected.
However, I have not been able to do this using a UIX/JSP page.
Is it possible to use ShowValue within a UIX/JSP page to display an active link?
