Display of Person with position in Org Structure

Dear All,
We have a display issue, please help us to resolve.
While uploading the master data with help of BDC, the data is uploaded which has been checked properly showing data has been uploaded. But when we see the org structure through ppom_old we cant see person assignment to the positions.

Hi,
Whenever you run master data upload through BDC the relationships in OM are not created.
I am sure you have created the necessary positions in OM under Org Units and then used these positions in BDC to upload your IT 0001. But now you are not able to see the position - holder assignment in OM, right?
If this is your problem then go to SE38 and run program RHINTE00.
Select one or two persons for whom you have uploaded master data and run the above program for them
If you have already created OM objects then tick mark CREATE HOLDER RELATIONSHIPS ONLY
a session will be created with your username which you can process through SM35
please go through the documentation of the report to understand the use.

    We have SRM ECS 5.0.
    We would like that the buyers can be assigned to multiple purchasing groups in order they can view all the SC related to those purchasing groups in the Worklist of the sourcing cockpit.
    Is it possible ?
    I'm able to assign the user ID to several position created under the purchasing groups in the organizational structure, but then when I log on to the webUI, in the sourcing cockpit I can only see the SC from 1 purchasing group in the Worklist tab.
    For example:
    user buyer1 is assigned to position "purchasing group 1 position" and to "purchasing group 2 position" in the org structure.
    First he was created under "purchasing group 1 position", then I added the user to the position "purchasing group 2 position".
    When I log on to the system with this user, in the sourcing cockpit, in the worklist tab, I can only see SC for purchasing group 1.

    Hi Marc,
    SRM does not allow one particular purchaser assigned to multiple purchasing groups at the same time. It is like you cannot ride two horses at the same time.
    However, you can follow the below workaround if you want a particular purchaser to do buying for multiple purchase organizations.
    first, let assign the buyer 1 to purchasing group 1 (which is inturn assigned to purchase organization 1). Now, in order to enable the buyer to do purchasing for purchasing group 2 (which is inturn assigned to Purchasing organization 2) and purchasing group 3 (which is in turn assigned to Purchasing Orgaization 3), you can follow the below steps:
    1. Go to the responsibilities tab of the purchasing group 1.
    2. Assign the purchasing organization 1 first in the org unit table.
    3. Then, assign the purchasing orgaization 2 and and 3 in the org unit tab.
    Now, the purchaser will be able to see  shopping cart or purchase order for his own Purchase organization as well as purchase org 2 and 3.

    Please let me know if there is way to interface with Peoplesoft to get the org chart (employees and their reporting details along with Org structure) and update the SAP Org hierarchy (PPOME). Any type of interfacing (file, RFCs, real time) options available to achieve this? We have our HR in PeopleSoft but need the Org chart in SAP for workflow and other reasons.
    If any one has done anything similar, please share how it was done. Thank you.

  • How to display ALV list with more than 1 structure?

    I am using REUSE_ALV_LIST_DISPLAY to generate a report that displays vendor/customer items with purchases/sales total. I have 2 internal table for this. For every vendor/customer i need a total table right after, this have a different structure. I cannot use REUSE_ALV_BLOCK_LIST_ as this is not capable of calculating the subtotal per currency and from the documentation it says do not use.
    Any idea on how to proceed?

  • 1 Person, 2 Position, 2 Org Unit, 2 different CC

    Hi All,
    Kindly tell me the answer of following doubt.
    1. I have hired 1 person on 1 position with staffing percentage as 50% from 01.01.2008 to 31.12.9999. (Cost Center is PS02).
    2. I have also assigned him the holder of another (new) position with the left 50% from 01.01.2008 to 31.12.9999 (Cost Center of new pos is  PS01)
    When i see IT0001 of the person it shows me record of  01.01.2008 to 31.12.9999 of old position with CC as PS02, with a message in green saying "Employee has more than one position".
    Question: I want to see the record of 01.01.2008 to 31.12.9999 of new position with CC as PS01, tell me how can i view it.

    Did you check in overview of IT1. i think since both the positons assingment are having the same date system is picking the first record.

    Your statement "The code below selects the persons connected to a position but out of those i need to find which are not connected to a position." is not clear.. What is your requirement? Do you want to find employees not assigned any position? or Positions not tied to a Job? What is task? A position is described by a Job via B007 relationship in HRP table.
    Is this want you want?

  • CATS - Manager need to approve users reporting to him with out ORG Structur

    Hi Gurus,
    At our client, they did not have any Org Structure. They do not want to implement any Org struture.
    They are implenting CATS (ESS). Users enter the Time sheets. Manager will approve the team members who report to him?
    Is there any way how managers get ONLY see users reporting to him with out a ORG Structure?
    I think we can do this restriction with Personnel Area and Personel Sub Areas but we need built separate role for each manager?
    Please let me know if i am wrong.

  • Moving users in the org structure

    Whenever, I move my user in PPOMA_BBP, it brings inconsistency that cannot be repaired.

    Which SRM version are you using ?
    You can repair the users using the same transaction.Even after that some times the inconsistency persists then delete the employee data and assign the user to the required Org. unit in the Org. structure using USERS_GEN transaction. Also check for the BBP_CONSISTENCY_CHECK transaction for this user (you will get list of errors in Consistency check ).

  • Sending mail to a particular positon in org structure via workflow

    hi all
    i have a problem regarding sending mail to particular position in org structure on runtime execution  via workflow so that i neednt hard court the particular position
    to achieve this i am using expressions,first i have created a new container element and then i have used container operation like this:
    (lead.employee responsible.business partner= container element defined by me)
    when i first try to execute the workflow and test it ,in the container  i am getting the value of the container element in which i have the position where i have to send the mail.but inspite of value getting populated ,when i am using that container element to send mail like:
    expression: container element
    the mail is not send,when i checked the log it is mentioned that " you are not the authorised person to stsart the workflow and start failed" but workflow is still triggered and i am able to pass the object but not able to send the mail.
    please tell me is there any feasible way to achieve this,like rule or in my way how is it able to achieve

    Follow this ,
    Goto PFTC -> Choose "Workflow Template" from the drop down -> Enter the workflow template id "123********" in the text box -> now click on "change" button -> Now goto the menu addional data -> agent assignment -> maintain -> select the task text -> and set it as general task.
    I guess you have done the same for the standard task TS*********** but failed to do it for the workflow template (WS123*************). Or have you done it already?
    Also once you make this change "Refresh your buffers" once before checking it out.

  • CRM Agent Inbox and Org Structures

    Hi There,
    Does anyone know if the Agent Inbox can be integrated with the CRM Org Structure so that the Forward To Groups/Persons will remain up to date (as per the HR org structure which is replicated to CRM). I know that the Forward to Groups are defined as a customising task so I am not sure if this is possible, but maybe there is a program that can compare the Forward to Groups with theorg structure and update them in a batch. This would be necessary when employees resign/join/move departments.

  • RHINTE00 - Position and org unit deleted in infotype 0001 not transferred

    Hi all,
    we are using report RHINTE00 to transfer the assignations with positions and org units made in infotype 1 to PPOME.
    Everything works fine when we are assigning a position and org unit.
    But when we remove the entry and run the report, the assignation in the PPOME still exists..
    Do I have to do something special to delete the relationships ?

    If you have terminated some employees, to remove relationship without existing objects, you have to use report. RHCHECKRELATIONS. Then if you just need to delimit them, make sure that org. unit exists in table T527X and rerun report RHINTE00. Hope it helps,

  • Agent Determination with Org Structure without HR

    We are currently on SAP 4.7 without the HR component.  Our tech area would really like us to implement our first workflow where agent assignment is determined from an org plan.  This workflow is a very simple workflow and actually only involves 2 people (one clerk and one manager). 
    If I build a very simple structure for this particular department, how easy is it to add on additional levels, both higher or lower, at a later date that will accomodate future workflows without effecting the existing one?

    I guess I'm still struggling with the best way to determine agent assignment given our circumstances (no HR) and the simplicity of this workflow.  (Recap of workflow - investigation and approval of corp refunds done by person # 1.  If refund > $500, needs approval from person #2).
    The tech area wants me to create a simple org plan but not assign any users to it and then transport it all clients.  Then in each client, we can assign users which would accomodate our testing with different id's than in prod.  The workflow would then assign to a position not a userid.  The advantage is that when people leave, the org plan must be maintained not the workflow.
    I've thought about using responsibility rules but ultimately, you are assigning a userid to a rule which still needs maintenance if a user leaves.
    I've also thought about using activity groups but the way we use them at our location isn't appropriate in this circumstance.  Our activity groups are so broad it would give too many people access to workflows.
    Lastly, I've thought about creating a custom Z table with the userid's in it and calling a function module to determine agent assignment.  This actually sounds intriguing but again, someone would need to maintain the userid's in the table.  Also, what's the best kind of key for the table - taskid?
    One of our dilema's is that IT management does not want to give anyone authorization to change a WF templete in prod.  So I must create the WF templete with the correct assignment in our dev system and then transport it to our prod system. 
    Then there's the whole issue about who will be doing any maintenance.  Since we don't have an HR component at this time (hopefully sometime in the next 5 years), HR won't maintain an org structure. 
    See how complicated this is becoming?  I'd appreciate any insight.

    Whenever i hire a person to a position which has an A012 relationship (Chief Position) then Org Units and Cost centres are not getting displayed in IT0001 .
    But when i hire a person in the same org unit with A003 relationship ; both Org units and Costcentres are getting displayed
    I have used an LSMW for uploading relationships and objects and i have also run integration reports for the same but still i am not able to display org unit and cost centre in it0001 when i hire a person with A012 relationship .

  • Teamviewer - All positions in Org Unit display depth between EP5 and EP6

    We are in the process of upgrading our HR Portal from Version 5 to Version 6 (SP14) and have encountered an issue with the Team viewer functionality.
    In our EP5 system when the user selects the dropdown option for 'All positions in org unit' it is picking up our Configuration limiting it to showing only 3 structure levels and when an attempt is made to display lower levels the expander changes but no more levels are shown (e.g. Expander icon changes but does not render the lower level).
    In our EP6 system when the user selects the dropdown option for 'All positions in org unit' it is ignoring the same Configuration and lets the user select down to the bottom of the organisation. This will obviously have serious performance implications and so must be corrected if we are to implement this upgrade.
    To test the situation we deployed the following par files from our EP5 system to our EP6 system and found that we achieved the required result of only allowing the configured levels to be shown:
    com.sap,pct.hcm.objectanddatprovider.par
    com.sap,pct.hcm.orgmanagementeventing.par
    com.sap,pct.hcm.teamviewer.par
    This points to an issue between these files from the EP5 version to the EP6 version.
    Has anyone else experienced an issue with how the EP6 teamviewer handles the 'All positions in Org Unit' selection, and if so can you let me know any solution you have to it?

    Hello Sandeep,
    Unfortunately the only standard functionality is to change the rankings of the positions within transaction ppome. Therefore you have the buttons 'Move up in rank' and 'Move down in rank' in the overview area of the ppome. As you know if the field PRIOX in the table hrp1001 is empty, the transaction sorts the positions by OBJID. So perhaps you could create a abap program to change this standard functionality to insert values into field PRIOX for the corresponding relationship in HRP1001 that you want to sort.
