Display of photograph in alv report output

hi all,
I have uploaded logo in t.code OAER. when i give image name for i_logo in the f.module resue_alv_commentary_write..it is able to
display logo given respectively..
but when i uploaded photo(jpg)...it is not displaying the photo in the output...may i know why it is happenning so...pls anyone

I have uploaded all jpeg format images only..im able to display the rest of images in jpeg extension and also able to display bitmap...
but im unable to display photograph in jpeg format...let me know the reason why it is not?

Displaying selection criteria in ALV report output

Hello,
Ive been using REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY function module to display my report content in ALV.
My reports selection criteria has parameters, select options, checkboxes and radio buttons. As part of the ALV output, I want to display the criteria that the user had selected in the selection screen. I was hoping to do that via parameter "i_callback_top_of_page" and fill the selection criteria in the header area. I'm using REUSE_ALV_COMMENTARY_WRITE to fill the header area.
However, the header area takes too much of view space in the output if I put all the selection screen information in it.
Is there a way to make the header area scrollable? What is a good way of displaying the selection criteria information as part of the report output?
Appreciate your help.

1. The purpose of displaying / writring
   selection information
   in alv is
   for identifying what the user has seleccted,
   directly from the report (when its printed)
2. So, the option of priting/writing
   it on the TOP of alv, is ok.
3. However, U can also choose to WRITE
it at the BOTTOM (instead of top)
4. Try to utilise maximum spacing (horizontally)
   field1 : abcd      fidl2 = xyz field3 = ppp
   field4 : mnc       etc.         etc.

As you seen in the above output i need Below jan 2011 NO and AMOUNT similar for other months.

Hi,
Are you able to populate NO ? If yes i don't see why u can't populate No Amount.
If you are not able to populate No.. just pass the same based on the condition to the (string) field that column is referring to ..
Or are u not able to align the columns ? If yes, you will have to do some hit and trial with write statement ..or better why not use grid display ..

Query regarding calling T-code MIGO from ALV report output

Dear friends,
I have to call MIGO transaction from my ALV report output. Now problem is that I have to set the value 'display' In the first header field, 'Material Document' in 2nd header field when MIGO is called from the report output. Morever there is no parameter ID for these two fields. So how to set the values w/o using parameter ids.

Double Click on ALV Report Output, Bringing to selections creen

Hello Gurus,
Please help me When i do double click on ALV Report output , it is going back to Selection screen, actually its working as Back button. Now how to stop it.. I did debugging but i cannot trace it.

How to do the ALV report output in groups and caluculate the tOTALS(URGENT

Hi
In my ALV report output .I have to group the output based on the DAYS field
0-10 days in one group
10-30 days in one group
above 30 days one group
There is also a field by name "AMOUNT" in my output.
I have to calculate SUBTOTALs at the end of every group and at the end of the report i should caluculate GRAND TOTAL.
Please remember that i should not use any any BLOCKED ALVs and for Totals i should not use the SYMBOLS provided in the application toolbar of the report

Tab not working on ALV report output in Persona

In normal SAP GUI we can move the cursor position on ALV report output between different column by pressing TAB on keyboard. But in case of persona 2.00, TAB doesn't work and we have to click on each cell of the report output whatever we want to highlight. Is there any settings or SAP note we can implement to so TAB will work on persona.

I think it's not possible to show all field values in another Language (Eg Thai) But it's possible if it's short Text, Long Text etc

For that also you have to maintain it first in SE63..

ALV report output to be send to the respective users through email

Hi Gurus,
My requirement is to send the ALV report output to the respective users Email ID (Lotus notes) when the report runs in background.
Could any one suggest me with sample coding, How to send a ALV report output to the respective email ID's ( Suggest me the FM that used to send a internal table)

ALV Report output in Excel format

Hi ,
I am facing a different behaviour in two computers , while trying to take an Excel format of an ALV report output. After generating the ALV output ,in one , when I click on the Excel Format button - the Excel spreadsheet opens with the output data. In the second computed , under the same action , a blank Excel sheet opens .
Could someone tell me a solution . What aspect is responsible for this ?

Reduce the MACRO security settings in the Excel to Medium.
Open an execl sheet, Chose from menu Tootls->Macro->Security.
Chose the radio-buton medium. Close the file and all excel applications.Then try downloading again.

Select mutiple rows in ALV report output

Hi All,
I want to select the Multiple records i in ALV report output with out holding the CNTL(Control Key).
Is there any options in Layout?

Hi Ajay,
To select several rows without Control button, if the rows are adjacent:
- select the first and the last of the desired rows with Shift button pressed
or
- select a row, keep the mouse button pressed, and pass over the desired rows
I don't know an option without Control if the rows are not adjacent.

Displaying special characters in ALV report.

Hi Experts,
Can we display special characters in ALV reports? Special characters such as tick mark.(Like in character map(Font Bookshelf Symbol 7) of windows ).
I tried with icons in ALV report, I was able to display tick icon in the ALV report, but when we export the report in to a excel, the icons comes in as Hexadecimal code.
Can any we display special characters like tick in ALV report or display the icons in excel aswell?
I will be gratefull for the <urgency reduced by moderator> response.
