Display original in ME23N

Hello!
Help me, please.
Into tr. ME23 is menuitem "Invironment -> Display originals".
But into tr. ME23N this menuitem is absent.
How to display originals within ME23N, if it was linked to Purchase Order with ArchiveLink, for example, using tr. OAWD.

Are you looking in the right area? When I last played with this scenario (I do archivelink and dms but mostly dms) you had to go to the line item from me23n, then select the purchase order history tab, then select the material document you want to view and then can go to the services for objects icon and check the attachment list.

ICR Process 003 - FBICR3 - Display original FI document

Hello,
I am doing several test run of ICR Process 003 and I have found that, without any reason, sometimes functionality "display original FI document2 does not work when pushing the "button".
Am I doing something wrong? Is there any functional reason for this behaviour?

Authorization display PO in ME23N for vendors (lifnr)

Hello!
I have the requirement to set up an authorization check for vendors as they only can display POs in ME23N those that belongs to that vendors (lifnr). I mean, If I am a vendor "X" and I go to ME23N transaction, I'll allowed to display just my POs, not the POs of other vendors (lifnr field). Any one know if this is possible to control in customizing? or do I have to set an authority-check up in any badi?

Use BADI ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST -> Method OPEN -> parameter IM_HEADER will give you the header details just check the user login details and the LIFNR available in the header and stop the user if not authorized.

Vendor address not displayed fully in ME23n

DMS Display Original Document download in Temp

Hi,
I have the requirement in SAP DMS (GUI), whenever i display the document from CV03N tcode, the original file is download in to my Temp folder in the background in EAI viewer as well as separate WSapplication options.
Whether it is possible to control (without download in client system) it. If it is possible throw some light on this.

Dear Bala.c,
please note that the standard system logic concerning the path for
temporary files is working the following way:
1. It will first see the settings for the front end type the user has
maintained in transaction DC20. If a path is maintained there, this path
will be used first to place the temporary file.
2. If no path is maintained in DC20, the Temporary File Path (Windows
Temporary File Path) is used.
(e.g. C:\Dokuments and Settings\<User>\Local settings\Temp)
3. If this "Temp" folder does not exist, the SAP GUI Work Directory is
used (Alt+F12).
So I would recommend you to maintain a path where the temporary file is
placed in transaction DC20 for each frontend type (e.g. C:\Temp\). For
further information please see also our online documentation under
http://help.sap.com.
If you want to avoid that the temporary copy remains on your PC please check
SAP Note 741388 which explains how to set the OLE2 flag.

Display mode in me23n

Hi,
I have added a new field in me23n transaction.Its coming in change mode.iam using user exit MM06E005 for adding the new field.How can i change the field to come in display mode?Can anyone suggest the function module in this exit where can i code.

I made i_no_screen value 'X' but its not working.
When i create a PO using me21n,the value of the new field is getting saved in EKPO table.But when i use ME22N,ME23N,the value which is been saved in the EKPO table should get displayed in that field,but its not happening.
Also,the new field is coming in change mode in ME23N.
Which function module exit can i use here to do the above changes.

Error when trying to display original in WUI

Hi All,
I get an error message when I try to display originals in WUI (we are using SAP NW 7.0).
For example, when I try to display a xls file(The Document type is DRW) the following message occurs:
-Data carrier type ZV and application XLS - application type 1 not defined (message no. 26062)
This problem only occurs when I am in WUI, in the GUI I am able to display the original.
Furthermore when entering the customizing point, (Path: spro -> SAP Reference IMG -> Cross-Application Components -> Document Mangagement -> General Data -> Define Data Carrier -> define data carrier type u201Cserver, front endu201D)
this type ZV doen't exist.
Why is the system not using the existing carrier type?
Why do I only have the problem in the WUI?
Any thoughts?

Otr does not display original language

Hello experts.
I have created an OTR , translated it. Everything is supposed to be fine.
In the View display, I can see the text in the original langue, but when I run the application I get the concept number instead.
The translation works fine btw.
Any ideas?

Project exported with new name opens in QT Player displaying original title?

When I export a movie I frquently put a new name in the "Save as" box.
The video file displays the new name on my desktop but when I open it in QuickTime Player the title at the top of the window has reverted to the original title of the project.
Why does this happen and is there any way of stopping it?

This has been going on for over 2 years and I never thought that the title in the info window could be changed as it looks extremely "permanent" and I never thought of clicking on it.
I had long accepted that I could do nothing about it but a friend phoned me up with the same problem and as I was unable to give a solution I posted on the forum, not really expecting an answer.
For the information of anyone else viewing this thread, I would point out that the "Description", "Creator" and "Tags" can also be altered should you wish.

Is "Aperture➞Preferences➞Advanced➞Create new Version when making adjustments" checked? If not, check it, and see if that produces the behavior you want.

Unable to calibrate my display - Original profile not found

When I attempt to calibrate my display through system preferences the message is "Unable to calibrate your display. The original profile of this display can't be found".
The message is in french, of course. I copied icc files such as Generic RGB.icc and so on in ~library/colorsync/profiles/ but no result.

Display original clip date-time

I'm using FCPX 10.0 to mount a video whish must display the original clip date-time.
I have found a timecode generator, a free TimeDate generators by RippleTraining but no one to simply print the *original* clip date time, as well as I can see on my Video-Cam simply pressing a button. I need to show that date-time (as Fri, April 14th 2014 - 11:19:59 a.m.) changing in real time, exacly as in a video-surveillance movie, because of legal reasons.
Any idea?

You can have a custom table where u can store date-time of search, and can track, accordingly by order by clause to get the last search date-time.

Custom field display on PO (me23n)

Hi, there.
On me23n screen in ECC60, I see descriptions of plant, material and material group code appear on
the screen, instead of code value.
I need to create a custom field on me23n and I need to make description of the custom field appear,
just like other standard field.
(The custom field has a custom master table with description ).
How could I achive this, without creating another custom filed for decsription?

Photos won't display original filename

Hi all,
I recently purchased a Family Pack Mac Box Set, with iPhoto '11.
I've installed everything on both my iMac and Macbook pro.
My issue is with publishing galleries to MobileMe, and viewing photos with the Photos App.
If I publish an album from my iMac to a gallery, the file numbers appear near the bottom of the photo,
which is great! Howeverm when I publish the same album to a gallery from the Macbook, the file numbers
aren't there. I've made sure the box is checked for "Show titles". I've reinstalled iLife on the Macbook,
nothing seems to work!
I can't even import the photos directly to the iPad and see the original file name.
Any ideas on how to resolve this? Thank you!

Just checked the site and it looks like you got it fixed. On a different note, think about changing your link colors. Blue links on a black background will be impossible for many people to read. Also, white text on black is not a good color combo as it causes eye strain for many.
