Display poblem

hi, I bought a new mac book three days ago. The first two days the display was as expected, however on the third day my display got completely screwed. My photo which were crystal clear a day ago have become darker, i am unable to see tables or other borders on websites. The icons are not sharp. Have I done something or it is hardware problem.
I hope someone can help

And make sure you have the resolution set to 1280x800 pixels.
There are some threads on calibrating the display and another forum with some custom profiles which you can install. I'm using one of those and it really makes a different. Take a look here:

Ive got poblems with my thundebolt display conected to my macbook pro 13 inch mid 2011

im running a thunderbolt display with a macbook pro 13 inch, the display shuts off by itself, also when the macbook goes to sleep and its woken up the thunderbolt display stays off and i need to restart the sistem, the macbook also dosent recognize the display as soon as i turn it on i have to play around with it for a while conecting disconecting the thunderbolt cable for it to work, ive also got problems to eject the display as it is not shown as a disk.
any oe else have this problem, ive searched forums and youtube and no articles exist on thunderbolt displays and macbook pros 13 inch.

It's possible that it's the same for all registrations, even though the MacBook Pro and the MacBook Air products are distinctly different. That information is autofilled, probably based on the serial number of your product, so even though it may say it's a MacBook Air, Apple may just be bundling all MacBooks under one group and labeling them MacBook Pro. But the serial number would tell them exactly which model you have, so there's nothing to worry about.
AppleCare Protection is based on the product group, so all MacBooks would be the same price, just as all iMacs would be the same price.

With display type native event is not working in my wd application

Dear Friends,
I have few interactive forms created webdynpro components.
in SFP: formtype: ZCI and inserted the webdynpro script in the layout and interface type is DDIC.
in Webdynpro: taken IF form UI element and with Enable check box checked(ON) and display type is Native.
when i run my wd application interactive forms is opening but when i click on button on webdynpro or on enter of input field event is not getting trigger. cursor is showing wait icon and in busymode only.
if i try with display type as activex it is working fine.
But i don't want to use type as Activex.
One more thing initially i have created 2 interative forms with those forms with displya type native is working fine, for new forms only the poblem is coming.
please let me know how to get rid of this.

i hope you have already followed the process what i mentioned in my question.
above that some times we are facing this busy mode issues, might be.. there coudl be some problem when we insert the webdynpro script.
on sfp layout from utilities insert the webdynpro script.
then sheck the script editor by selecting the data node in hierarchy tab.
make sur the both event *presave and *formload are filled with some in built script and the language is Java script and Client side.
then save activate the form and try.

Windows 8.1 default video driver only displays 1024x768 on Satellite A665D-S6051

My laptop came with Windows 7 Home Premium. I upgraded to Windows 8.0 and had driver poblems. The Windows 8 installation was getting a bit buggy after 18-mos so I finally decided to upgrade to 8.1. I did a format and clean install of 8.0, then updated software before installing 8.1 upgrade. After upgrade Windows 8.1 used a default driver that only displays 1024x768 instead of 1366x768. I tried to install video drivers from AMD website and crashed the new Windows 8.1 installation. I'm back running 8.0 with no problems. Anyone know where I get the correct driver for my A665D-S6051? This is an AMD Pheonom II Quad Core processor with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200 series video display.

Your model is supported by Toshiba for upgrade to Windows 8, but not to Windows 8.1.
Computers with Windows 7 pre-installed that are supported by Toshiba for update to Windows 8.1
Windows 8.0 will not be supported by Microsoft after January 12, 2016.
I would restore the hard disk to its original out-of-the-box contents using Toshiba recovery media.
(Some would kill to downgrade to Windows 7!)

Urgent: regarding output display problem

hi,
i had made dis report for displaying changes made to a purticular material in a purticular month.
d poblem is dis when i check a materail in MM04 which use to display a change made to a single material and when i check further that what changes had made it shows 4 changes but when i check my report it shows only 2 changes had been made.
plzz help me out as help will be definately rewarded.

i think u have got a problem with the selection criteria "date"
because i have cross checked the code you have developed and through the transaction
it is impeccably right
i think the selection of date in your report should be the range of dates in which they have been modfiied/changed

Me23n Print preview display problem for specific o/p type

Hello gurus,
A small problem..
I have modified the Smartform for a specific o/p type in PO and the moved to PRD
when seeing the Print preview in me23n the Smartform is not being displayed in PRD....
all other setting in ->messages, further data in me22n are same as for other o/p types..
The poblem is only for this o/p type POs all other o/p types the print-preview is displaying the form..
suggestions required...

go to the customizing release request .
there is a ur updated nace release request number.
expand that request number .
see there is an another request number.
again expand it.
check whether there is a view cluster maintenance data or not?
if it is present.
expand it there u see the cluster table.
else.
u mistaked in nace transport.

I need some help concerning a new feature in Struts 1.2.7.
The ActionMessage class now has a new Constructor.
ActionMessage(java.lang.String key, boolean resource)Setting the "resource" value to "false" allows you to define a "literal"
Message without having to specify a key in the properties bundle. It will
display exactly the string that is given in the 'key' argument.
In my Action Class, I create two or more ActionMessages:

ActionMessage error1 = new ActionMessage("Literal Error 1", false);
errors.add(ActionMessages.GLOBAL_MESSAGE, error1);
ActionMessage error2 = new ActionMessage("Literal Error 2", false);

Center the DIV content with nested display: block float Left

I have a series of images that use a Spry fade effect as a slide show.
It works OK but the images are all jammed up into the top left corner
even when i put them in a table. I have attached the body code below.

To keep the image and caption together and center them, you need to give the <figure> element a width. You'll also add a CSS drop shadow effect to the image to make it look more like a photograph.

Hello Gurus,
I have developed a BI report with more number of parameters.
Case 1:
When i run my report , I am able to see data for particular condition but one column doesn't show any thing. All the rows in the column are blank.
Case 2
I tried to put the blank column as parameter, The Program works with out displaying that column data.
I am not sure where it is going wrong. I tried running the code in toad and i am able to see the data.
I have checked the code, Parameter description, length, Template and data definition.

For that column did u changed any alias name in the query...
check ur template once by loading the xml data...
check that column form field that matches with the xml tag or not..

Using mini-DVI to VGA adapter to Samsung display

I have 2009 late model of mac mini, The text on display looks washed out, not clear or sharp at all from day one, I thought it was the old model of monitor, tried the same cable to another monitor on another computer, SAME. so I thought the problem could be the cable or adapter.
It's hard for me to believe is the signal from computer. I'm using VGA adapter made by Dynex bought from Best Buy.
Anybody has suggestions?? Thanks

Yeah, My old Samsung is lcd synmaster 17", bought many years ago at around $1000. Crazy, crazy price looked back. It's fine when I used it on the retired old Dell. It must be the adapter, trying not to buy another VGA adapter, could not image my next lcd will use one, anyway.
This cable has only 14 pins vs 15 pins on the other cable, not sure if it matters?? Or if Safari has anything to do with it??

Mini-dvi to video adapter changing display on macbook?

I recently purchased a mini-dvi to video adapter for my macbook to be able to view photos and video on my tv. I'm having trouble with the display on my computer when I use the adapter. As soon as I plug in the mini-dvi video adapter into the computer the display on my computer switches from 1280 X 800 to 640 X 480. Attached to the adapter I have an s-video cable to my tv. The display shows the same on the tv but in black and white.

Turn mirroring off. That way the two displays can run independently from one another. The mirroring check box is in Displays Preferences under the Arrangement tab.

Display problems using mini-dvi to video adapter

I recently purchased the mini-dvi to video adapter for my powerbook to use my TV as a monitor and to play pictures and videos from the laptop to the TV. I am getting a full color display on the TV, but it's only the screen saver. None of my files, text, or any other desktop folders or menus appear when I open them up on the laptop. The only screen that opens is the display preferences when I open that up, but it's a different set of preferences than what's in my computer's display preferences, as it's header is "NTSC/PAL". But other than that 1 menu, nothing is appearing but the screen saver.

OK, I discovered that I didn't know what I was doing. With the Mini-DVI to video adapter, you need to use an S-Video cable that plugs into an S-video jack on the TV, and then you need a separate cable to plug into the audio out jack on the MacBook to plug into the TV.
I think you could also use an S-video to RCA component cable if you have a TV with component video input, but I couldn't get that to work so I went to the s-video to s-video cable.

View the .rtf file not display the data in BI Publisher Enterprise.
Step 1, I created Answer-request, create .rtf file with Word and add the request name, Add bar chart and table, preview PDF is working fine with data, Upload this template to Answers, View Template from Answer is working fine with data.
Step 2, Answers – More Products > BI Publisher > My Folders > Create a new report > Edit > Data Model > New > Type: SQL Query > Data Source: Oracle BI EE > Query Builder > from SupplierSales assign Customer, Periods, Sales Facts (select Region, state, Year, Units Shipped) > Results > Save > Save
Click Layouts > New > enter Name ….. > Click Layouts > borrows .rtf file in Manage T file > Upload > Save > Click View
It is showing only the .rtf file without data. Why there is no data?
Please guide me to solve this issue.

Our scenario is this report is basically a dissconnected mode report... we are developing these reports for mobile clients.
We dint face this kind of issue while developing other reports.
So please let us know if you have any idea on why we are facing this issue.

View not displaying the data in some of the clients

DB 11gr1
OS- RHEL 5.6, 64 bit
We have an application which is built using .net , but the database is 11gR1 we are connecting vis ODAC ... it was working good.
But when we treid to move to other server, we created a user B , created a VIEW.
But we are facing one strange problem that - when i query its showing data in client PC , but when i ran it from Windows Server 2008 R2 edtion no data is displaying?
Any hints y?

Can not properly view cover flow in full screen in external display

My mac is the new Mac book pro 15.4 inch screen and I connect my mac pro to external display e.g. Samsung LCD monitor 24 inches.
The bug is that I can not PROPERLY view full screen (in external display) for some application e.g. iTunes, and Front Row.
- When I use iTunes, I can not properly view Cover Flow view in full screen (in the external display screen) except the case of mirror display.
- For Front Row, I can not view full screen in external display but only my mac display.
However, for other DVD or VDO players, I can view movie on external display in full screen and I still be able to do other works on my mac screen.
Please let me know how to solve it.
