Display reversed on nokia 1110i

In an effort to make 1 usable phone out of two non-usable phones, I swapped the display in 2 nokia 1110i cell phones. However, when you boot the 'new' phone up, the display is completely reversed as if you were looking at in the mirror. Is this a problem due to the PCB of each phone being slightly different, or did I do something wrong?

Well, if I were you, I wouldn't have swapped the screens in the first place. You should've taken it to a Nokia care centre but now it's too late as you have voided warranty.
We can't talk about how to do it on this forum but I can tell you that you obviously did something wrong.
That's right people, I'm back. Where have I been? I have been getting a life, away from this electric madness.

Unfortunately CA-42 will not be suitable for this purpose as a different cable and software is needed from third party supplier.

Nokia 1110i doesn't work in USA

I bought a Nokia 1110i mobile phone in Australia...the salesman said that it would work in the states...but when I got home it shows No Network Coverage.....Never had this problem with other phones I have purchased overseas....HELP!!!!

An 1110i purchased in Australia would only be dualband GSM 900/1800MHz so it will not work in the states as a handset that uses GSM 850/1900MHz is required.
Nothing you can do expect sell it on or return it for refund.

1.My source code is edit on windows98SE/Chinese.
2.After compiler, My program can display Chinese on windows.
3.When change os to linux and use KDE, I can see Chinese in source.
4.If not create the "font.***.zh_TW" into /usr/.../lib,
AWT/SWING component can't display chinese.
5.If create the "font.***.zh_TW" into /usr/..../lib,
the AWT component can display chinese and SWING component can't.
6."LC_TYPE" is "zh_TW.Big5" and "LANG"="zh_TW.Big5".
7.If re-complier in linux, The SWING component can't display chinese.
8.When running, The system will display message
"Warning:Cannot covert string "-default-ming-medium-r-normal
-140---c-- big5-0".
9.use command "xlsfonts | grep big5" can find font "-default-ming-...-big5-0".
10.Check the "file.encoding" is "BIG5".

OPTION to adjust display brightness on nokia asha ...

Hi NOKIA Representative,
Please provide the support and option to adjust display brightness on NOKIA ASHA 200 in the next software update. (I have NOKIA 200 V11.56 showing manfacturing date 26-03-12).
Adjustment of display brightness is very basic and important feature in any phone, how come NOKIA forgot it in this model (NOKIA ASHA 200) ??

The manual display brightness option should be added to the device in the 11.81 (or newer) SW updates - so try updating your phone SW.

Id just like to add that ive had my N80 for 3 weeks now, and 3rd day of using it, my N80 did the same thing, made ghost calls.
It must have used about a minute or 2s worth of calls.
I was actually on a stage doing a mobile disco, getting up and down off the stage, when i noticed id received a message from a friend, but also the log had said i called them also.
The phone was set to locked, ie press the power button, and enter your sec code to unlock phone before it can be used.
How it had done it i dont know, but maybe it was because id recieved a message, it decided to call that person.
it did it at least on 2 occassions while the phone was in my pocket, although it hasnt done it since.
I also dont use a leather or plastic case of any kind.
Im using firmware for n80 on H3g uk.

so in my case, very strange. I could have understood it if the slidy lock was just enabled, but the full lock was on, when my ghost call happened.

Display Problem in Nokia N70

Hi,
Yesterday when i was cleaning my mobile to remove the dust particles, I removed the upper cover of Nokia N70 & was cleaning the glass with a cloth & I used a brush to remove the dust, while cleaning a small minute particle fell down from my mobile & later when everything is done, i switched on my mobile, but unfortunately i was not able to see any display on my screen. It was totally blank (While Light). I am able to receive incoming calls but i'm not able to see whose no. it is nor i cant view any of my profile since it is blank.

Display problem in Nokia XL

I purchased a Nokia XL last month (Purchased online). After a normal usage of almost 15 days, during office hours, the Display got white vertical lines. If you lock the screen and unlock after some time , the display looks clear, after some time the white vertical lines start coming on the display.
is there any hardware problem are any settings problem. The place where i am staying is 75 KM away from the nearest nokia care center.
Any one faced the same issue of Display problem in XL

This may be software problem. For now, follow instructions given by @dimoff
Reset your phone, it will delete entire data on your device. So create a backup of your data before resetting.

My user has reverse document through F.05. After transaction and check inFS10n, we could not found the original document which has been reversed in f.05
In which tcode we can find the reverse doc number?

Hi,
F.05 can be used to post the Foreign Currency Valuation loss or gain at the end of the month or year. In the same T Code you can post the reversal document in the next period as it was only a provision entry.
In this case, if you have the original document reference, then you can go FB03 display, you can find the reversal doc. reference in header area.
If you do not have the document reference, then also use same T Code FB03 and go to document list, use document type and posting date to find the origial document / reversal document. You can also change the layout of the report to bring the user ID to shortern your search.

I have nokia mobile not 2 weeks old when the phone produced unexplained vibration for 3-5 seconds when I was using the wireless internet then it shut down latter when I turned it on again the Display started to show colored lines then it would turn to black and the phone refuses to work and shuts down and I noticed that sometimes when I try to open it , it produces a zip sound and it does not open not if I keep trying until it opens and when I went to nokia care center they gave me the phone with the same problem after telling me it was a software problem once the second time the keyboard was broken the third and always the phone returns with the same problem

the problem lies with your copying of the contacts
When you copied them over you may have added duplicates, if there is a duplicate in the contacts of a number the phone will not display a name as it will be confused.
You will need to go through the contacts and delete any that have duplicate numbers.

IBook Display Reversed

On my iBook Dual USB I recently (and successfully) changed the display inverter but since doing that my screen has, for lack of a better term, inverted. When the lid is open the screen is off but when the lid is closed the screen is on. I can't for the life of me figure out what changed on the computer other than piece I replaced. Just for kicks I obtained a second inverter board and it too exhibits the same problem, off when open and on when closed. Since both connections on the inverter board are keyed to only fit one way I'm certain it's installed correctly. A friend thinks this is a software fix but I'm not so sure. I do consider myself pretty tech savvy, having upgraded the memory, changed the hard drive, and twice changing the inverter board. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

The reed switch is the part of the iBook that tells it whether it's asleep or awake. It's located in the right edge of the display bezel (about halfway down) and is triggered by a magnet at the right side of the keyboard (underneath). It's possible that you dislodged the magnet in your journey in replacing the inverter board, but it's puzzling that it would reverse the function. I could understand it simply not working, but this is a new one on me, which is why I thought maybe the PMU reset would do it.
Read about the function of the reed switch and how to disable it _Small Dog Electronics_. If you prefer to replace it, it's going to take more work than you've done before, since it involves disassembly of the display. If you disable it, you'll have to remember to put it to sleep manually before closing it. Apple says not to let it run while closed.

You may want to try to locate the magnet and make sure it's in the correct position before ordering the part and attempting this complicated repair. I don't see how a misplaced magnet could cause this reverse behavior, though.
