Display selection hierarchies

Hi, in the popup window of selection hierarchies for an infoobject i see all the usefull hierarchies loaded. I need to reduce this selection list for only two hierarchy. In which way is possible ? Thank's a lot.

You are absolutely right... 252. What a pity.
You probably tried RSRT already, which delivers a result.
Meaning, there is still hope.
Do you really need to export data based on a hierarchy grouping or could this possibly be done with some coding later in a start routine?

Bug (possibly?): SelectManyShuttle fails to display selected items when valuePassThru="true" in ADF 10g

When run, the example below shows a Select Many Shuttle with four choices in the leading list. When items are shuttled to the training list and the page is submitted the trailing list is rendered with no items selected. Is this a bug?
Configuration
This example was constructed using jDeveloper 10.1.3.5.0.
A new application was created using the Web Application [JSF, ADF BC] template although no business components are used.
Steps to Reproduce

I'm holding my Nano in my hot little hands with ALL of the things you listed, but here's the sad, simple truth: you CAN'T use iTunes to sync everything. It works well for:
1) Music
2) Videos (except sometimes in Vista)
3) Photos (as long as they're not too large)
but is terrible for:
1) calendar
2) contacts
3) To-Do lists
For the latter use something like "iGadget" (www.ipodsoft.com). I also edit/store notes w/iGadget plus it allows you to export files, etc.
I gave up on syncing iTunes w/Outlook long ago. Good luck.

Problem in displaying selected page items in the title in Graph

Hi There;
I have a problem in displaying selected value of named page item in the graphs.
Eg. I have in my worksheet a page item named "Location"; when I use "&WorksheetName &Location" in the title of worksheet it is displaying both the worksheet title and value of selected page item "Location" in my example.
But when I use the same (&WorksheetName &Location) in the title of graph or Axis of the graph, it would show up only the name of the worksheet but not the value of page item "Location", instead it would print "&Location"
Any idea why it is not able to reference the select page item in Discoverer graph? I am using Oracle BI Discoverer 10.1.2.1.

Thanks a lot. It might not have been considered necessary but you do require, e.g in my case I am plotting Average value of a Parameter and it does make sense in including the name/value of Parameter(surface water temp/bottom watter temp) as an Axis instead of just a constant Parameter or say Average Parameter. So that user can plot the variation of different parameters by changing the page items and when user changes the value of parameter and export the graph he/she has the parameter name(actual value) in the graph.
But I can include all the parameters (&Parameters) or all the page items(using &PageItems) in graph then why not individual page-item and individual parameter.
I would log a SR and see what they say.

      I have a screen which is of dialog-box type. This dialog screen shows an ALV and has a button in the ALV toolbar. On pressing this button, a pop-up screen is to be displayed. This pop-up screen is designed as a selection-screen. Is it possible to display this selection screen as a pop-up from a dialog box screen?

Just give atry in this way..
open the same program ans selection-screen screen no will be 1000 in se51 screen painter,
go to properties of the texts u want to change then go to display tab and check the checkbox bright.
it may or may not work but this will work in module pool .
just give a try...

How to display selected records on one HTML page?

Hi,
I would like to display selected part of records on one page in HTML region. For example I have a Master - Detail table set named Procedures and Tasks (each Procedure can have one or more tasks)
I would like to be able to display all Tasks for a given Procedure in one HTML region on a page... The problem is that the number of tasks vary between procedures and can change in time. Also, the 'task description' can be very large so a simple report list of all tasks is something I cannot use... (I would like eg for the task name to be here, and the task_description to be there - unlike the report where everything is in one line...) The following are my ideas but non of them seemed to be feasable here...
1. Use a report based on vertical columns (However I am using Theme 10 for which there are no vertical column templates. The only vertical templates I can see are the default ones but I have no idea how to customize them - where are they?)
2. In HTML region use &ITEM_NAME. substitutions. In order to display more than one &EMN_NAME. (based on eg. EMPID) I suspect that I would need to write some kind of javascript loop. Has anyone have an idea about how would such a script look like?
3. Display each Task in a separate screen. This is something I would want least but better than nothing - to have a customized report which would display one task at a time with some kind of pagination to it...
Please let me know if someone has tried something simmilar or maybe there is a 4th option which will be simpler and easier...

Just to answer this one myself....
In order to achive the above I used a PL/SQL Dynamic Content page and entered a html content in htp.prn('');
Then, I created a PL/SQL LOOP which searches through the various rows...
In the end, whenever I wanted to display html content I just used htp.prn and for variables I used htp.p(<var_name>);
Maybe, it helps ;)

I have a requirement i added an extra in in t-code IW22,
in that the standard screen tab called "ACTIVITIES"

You can add the method in the AM, expose them as client interface. In the action listener of the button (of the popup where you are selecting the rows and clicking to continue), execute the method from AM.

Aero in Windows 7 64bit home premium does not work. Aero display selections are grayed out.

Aero in Windows 7 64bit home premium does not work. Aero display selections are grayed out. HP 600-1315xt.
Have tried everything I can find on internet and here on HP. None of the suggestions worked. Windows fixit for windows could not fixit. Any suggestions are appreciated. I can always use my disks and rebuild the computer. A last resort.

It might be the graphic driver not compitable with the graphic device. Has there been a change to the graphic driver?
One thing you can try is to uninstall graphic driver and download the latest from Windows Update (if you haven't tried this). Here are the possible steps:
1. Go to Control Panel->Hardware and Sound->Device Manager, uninstall the graphic card driver by right clicking and select "uninstall". Make sure the option "Delete the driver software for this device" is selected.
2. Reboot the system.
3. Go to Control Panel->System and Security->Windows Update, click on "Optional updates" and find the driver for g210 and do the update.

Wlan client multiple radio ssid display & selection

assuming two ssids on both radios, such as
dot11 radio0
ssid Private
ssid Public
dot11 radio1
ssid Private
ssid Public
does a given client--which is capable--automatically display/select the 5Ghz radio over the 2.4Ghz?
Specifically, when the 5Ghz-capable-client lists available networks, does it only display the ssids from the 5Ghz radio, or are ssids from both radios typically displayed by such a client?

Depends on the settings of your Wireless NIC. I've seen several wireless NICs which allows you to specify which radio is preferred. By default, the WNIC chooses the best signal available.
Specifically, when the 5Ghz-capable-client lists available networks, does it only display the ssids from the 5Ghz radio, or are ssids from both radios typically displayed by such a client? No. It will display the SSID which has the strongest signals first. If a SSID is broadcasted by both "a" and "b" radio, the WNIC will display only ONE SSID.

How to " display selected track 's automation" ????

In former versions of logic ( prior to lp8) , there was an option "display selected track's automation " now there is only " display automation " wich means every time i click on this , it will zoom all my tracks automatically wich can be pretty confusing . Id like to be able to see automation only for the selected track in the arrangement .
Is this option still available ??
If yes where did it go ??

If you use auto track zoom and make your arrangement tracks small enough heigtwise, any track chosen will therefore display its automation.
