Display Settings - please help.

I've read all the posts on this and nothing has helped so here I go...
I have a 13 inch Macbook Core 2 with OSX.
I have a Acer 19"W LCD display attached using a MINI-DVI to VGA Adapter.
The monitor's native display is 1400x900. I can get only 1400x1050.
I'd sell my first born just to be able to scream at this thing and say "1400x900!!! I own you!"
Someone please help me. If I spend another hour on this I'm buying a PC, and fixing the wobble in my kitchen table with my Macbook.

The display is supposed to send information about supported resolutions to the computer through the display connector. Not all displays send correct data. SwitchResX or DisplayConfigX will force the computer to the resolution you want, even if it didn't get correct information from the display. Read the instructions carefully, so you don't get the computer stuck at an invalid resolution.

I've found that the order of operations, so-to-speak, can be important when hooking up mini display port to HDMI. I have the most success with the following operations in this order:
1) Plug HDMI cable into mini displayport adapter (the cable should not be plugged into either the TV or the computer at this point)
2) Plug the mini displayport end of your new super-cable to the computer.
3) Plug the HDMI end into your TV.
4) Switch inputs on your TV to the proper input.
5) If still nothing on the TV, try a different HDMI port on your TV.

The Arrangement tab only appears in System Preferences Displays pane if a second display is recognized by the system (the OS). So it seems like your MacBook is not seeing the TV as being connected.
Describe the video connection between MacBook and TV... What type of video out port does your MacBook model have? How is it converted to the type of port used on the TV?

Power-cycling or connecting to iTunes didn't fix the issue. However the iPad did restart, trying to install the update but it didn't complete and received a error once again. And now the iPad is stuck on the update screen with the progression bar beneath the apple.
The error reads, "The iPad could not be updated. An unknown error occurred (6)."

If the iPhone won't Restart you should be able to Reset it. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
For the future (in case you don't' know), go to Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > Manage Storage, and choose your Device under the Backups list.
Under the Backup Options turn off anything you don't care about (being backed up, that is). This will let you reduce the backup size so that it fits in iCloud again. You can also delete the current backup here.
You should also check Settings > General > Usage and look at how much data each app is storing. Identify problem apps and go clean out unwanted files.

Wont let me into itunes store due to network settings, please help!

I previously had no problems with the store and have regularly purchased from it. Since going wireless I can no longer get in and now when I try through modem it doesn't work either.
I have flushed the DNS settings as advised, but, no joy. If anyone has any ideas please help me.

Email signature Image vanish, empty box display. Please help

I have added an image to my email signature. It was working fine and suddenly the image vanish with empty box. Tried several times, the empty box keep coming after I restart my IPAD. I was just did copy and paste the signature. Please help

Since I got my iPhone 4 2 days ago whenever I send mail from my ipad1 it goes to everyone's spam files please help. I'm sure I did something to the settings I just can't figure out on which device and how to fix it.

You might need to send your iPhone back in to Apple, go to an apple store, or get a new iPhone unfortunately. I personally would go to an Apple Genius at the Apple Store. They're really good.

Blackberry Curve 8330 (Facebook Push Notification Settings) Please Help

I have a BB Curve 8330. I received a warranty replacment two days ago. I installed the Facebook application and I am not receiving push notifications to the Facebook App on the Blackberry.
The thing is, I used to receive push notifications to the FB App on my original 8330 Phone. I looked at all my Settings on Facebook.com, And Installed Facebook App for Blackberry.
Could anyone please help me out? My Friend has a BOLD and he was receiving notifications instantly to his Facebook App on his BB Bold, while I was not. And we even compared settings and they matched, I am getting e-mail notifications to my account so I am receiving the notifications, just not thru the Facebook App on the phone......what gives?
I did a Hard reset, and reinstalled my Facebook Application to the phone.
HELP Please!
I figured it out. The email address associated with my facebook was not setup on the Blackberry. Facebook e-mails my acocunt then that pushes to the Facebook App on the Phone.

Standard widescreen sequence settings - PLEASE HELP!

I've been trying for weeks to figure out the proper sequence settings / easy setup settings for videos that will ulitimately end up as STANDARD 16x9 footage.
Is there a direct 16 x 9 standard widescreen setting?
What I've been trying to do is to make a standard widescreen picture video slideshow that will end up being burned via idvd. But for the life of me I cant figure it out?!?!?
PLEASE HELP! Your assistance will be greatly appreciated!

I do have Fianl Cut Studio Pro 2 studio.

"Standard" 16:9 is anamorphic.
Import your footage into FCP using a 16:9 preset, edit it and export it using 'current settings'.
Open up DVD Studio Pro and import the footage making sure to check the box that tells the program the material is 16:9.

Everything works accept for IE for PC. I want the backgrounds
