Hello, all!! I just learned today that MSI has their own forum so here goes: My 990fxa-gd80 v2 has just returned from RMA. It has the latest bios already installed 11.13 I believe. The issue is, I have two 320 gig wd drives that I want to put in a raid 0 array and can't get into the raid option rom to do it. I read the manual again and set the sata to raid, and the submenu to raid option rom instead of the uefi driver setting.I still can't get it to show me the "press control-f to enter raid setup" or whatever it says. If y'all have any hints or suggestions, I'd appreciate it! Thanks.

Well, it was indeed because of a weak PSU that it wasn't working. I've bought a new one, more powerful, and the GTX 750 ti is now working.

Safari not displaying Quicktime controls.

Since changing to Snow Leopard and Quicktime 10, Safari is no longer displaying the controls, or playing the audio on my website. Firefox handles the embed code fine, and Safari under Leopard does too. My code matches what is suggested on Apple's site so I am out of ideas. Any help would be appreciated.

Move those files to the Trash and see if that makes a difference.

In Quicktime 10.3, why can't I hide the playback controls? It is most annoying when giving a presentation to a large group to see the control panel appear. I just want them to see the movie. Thanks!

The problem is I don't want my audience to EVER see the playback controls, just like I don't want to see a TV station's playback controls onscreen when watching TV. Same in a movie theater. The movie should just appear and play.
And not moving the mouse is not an option when going between a slide program and a movie program, which our presentations often if not always do.
Is there a way to do what I want in my computer using Quicktime?
There are no user preferences for any current version of QT X. If you must use "Full" screen mode, then start player playback before entering the "Full" screen mode and exit the "Full" screen mode before again moving the mouse to avoid seeing the controls when you do manipulate the mouse. Only other option might be to use a non-mirroring workflow strategy.
Does Quicktime Pro have that ability?
Yes and no. The QT 7 media player window normally displays the controls at all times. However, when keyed for "Pro" use, you can go to the "Properties" window and change the "Presentation" movie controller type to the "None Movie Controller" setting. In this setting all playing modes other than "Full" screen mode display the player with title bar above the viewing area but without side frame or controls under the display. If you are using the "Full" screen mode for your presentation, then you can open the "Preferences" window to the "Full Screen" tab and deselect display of the "full-screen controls." In both cases you will have to either use menu options to start/stop playback or double-click the display screen to start playback and single-click the display screen to stop playback manually. (NOTE: In the first instance the property setting is/can be saved to the file itself while in the second the setting is saved as a QT 7 Player preference to the player itself.)

Install Splashtop2 on the PC and enable it to be controlled or ran from iPad or Reflection to simply allow iPad to serve as PC unwired monitor. With Splashtop and an Apple TV connected, you use the smartboard as usual, yet the PC and iPad can see the same content. The impaired child can even interact with the Smart Board via the iPad as if he were writing directly on the big screen. Erasing functions can be done by touching the Smart Board manual controls. Several variables are in play that cause this lack of functionality:
    Apple won't permit PC software that infringes its proprietary apps.
    Smart Board companies refuse to develop iPad apps because they feel threatened and are being replaced by iPads

i have one of the requirement for an application, we do upload some release not in file server and that is used in application link to see the note. in this note i have converted the Excel into .HTM format(web page). this was working fine, but from last

Actually Arnavsharma provided a operable method for you. But no luck, it's not invalid.
Here I also offer you an method you can try.Please delete the extra (parasite) zone from the Zones subkey :
Click Start , click Run , type regedit , and then click OK
Expand the following registry subkey
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Zones
Delete the extra (parasite) zone from the Zones subkey
Note: The parasite zone is a pseudo-graphic number listed before zone number 0. The pseudo-graphic number looks like a miniature upper case "L"

In this presentation the left side the text animation are displayed then right side the our product video is displayed.
In this presentation i need the following option :

After upgrade to 4.0, the controls on mymsn page do not work and several of my content items are not displayed.

The stock quotes, fox sports and movie times content fields do not display and the controls do not work on any of content boxes. The customize and add content tabs do nothing. This all worked with 3.6 but not with 4.0.

A column in the search results was changed to a Simple Checkbox when we upgraded to 4.0 (it has always been a checkbox in the older APEX versions). When I put it back to Standard Report Column I no longer get the page not found error.
Is there some additional/different setting I need to do in order to use the simple checkbox option in a search results set?
ETA: I see now that Checkboxes are not intended to work in standard report regions so I'll change them to LOVs or something and my problem should be solved.

Background-image of a Design Studio 1.3 extension is not displayed when the control is dragged on the canvas

I have a Design Studio Extension with a background image which behave well in Design Studio 1.2.
In Design Studio 1.3 when I drag the control into the canvas the image does not show-up. If I execute the application the image appear in the browser even is not in the canvas.Once I save and reopen the application the image is displayed on the canvas as expected.
I built an extension based on the 'Timer' sample which comes with the DS_13_SDK_Samples ( it has a background image) and it behaves the same way - when you drag the control on the canvas, the image is not displayed.
Any help to solve this issue is much appreciated.

It does start to work once I save and reopen or even when I run.
I tried the inline style but the behavior is much stranger. It does work if I have a full address url to an image, but if my image is part of the control's folder structure it fails completely - it cannot map the right address to the image. The only configuration that appears to work better is the one with the original problem.

I am trying to play a clip in a jspx page. I use an ADF media to embed the file and play the file by quicktime. I set the control display attribute to "all" or "typical" but the control does not display when the browser(FF) display the clip.

I have one requirement to display the content selected in multiselect.I explained my requirement below.
I have 5 multiselect boxes.they are locality,designation,connection1,connection2,connection3.
The corresponding designations will be displayed for the locality and the corresponding connection1 will be displayed for the designation and the corresponding connection2 will be displayed for the connection1 and the corresponding connection3 will be displayed for the connection2.everything is displayed correctly in the multiselect.
My requirement here is till connection1 i'll select mandatorily. and if i select connection1 and click GO button without selecting connection2 and connection3 then the connection1 only should be displayed in the report not the connection2 and connection3.likewise if i stop till connection2 and click go then connection2 only has to be displayed in the report not the connection1 and connection3..How can i do this?
i tried using dropdown and presentation variables but not all the values are displayed in dropdown and there is a limit in dropdown.so i'm going for multiselect..

Empty paragrpahs in a textflow cause runtime error when displaying the text

Hello there,
when I create a textflow which has empty ParagraphElements in
it (i.e. a ParagraphElement without any children) I get this
runtime error once I try to display the text in a container:
Error: Error #2175: One or more elements of the content of
the TextBlock has a null ElementFormat.
Is this a bug, or is there a legitimate reason for this
error? If so, I'd like to understand why. In my reasoning an empty
ParagraphElement should just result in the rendering of a newline.
But maybe I'm thinking too much in HTML terms here...

Embedded font doesn't display the same at runtime

For whatever reason, I have chosen Aerial Black for some read-only TLF text (anti-alias = "readability"), but at runtime, it looks more like Times Roman.
Any idea?

I was coming to that conclusion myself, but it works fine in Keynote on my Powerbook. On the MP I took off a lot of the language translations, I wonder if that had any effect. The font displays the alphabet fine if I check it via the font box in Motion. It also displays properly if I open the Keynote file on the MP.
There are no Latin characters in Corsiva Hebrew. When you use it for Latin characters, you are actually seeing a different font regardless of what it says in a font menu. The substitution occurs automatically, normally with Lucida Grande I think.
Look carefully at this font in size 72 and see if you can see any difference from Lucida Grande. Send me a screen shot if you like (tom at bluesky dot org).

Display the Current Running Files in the Label Control

I have a label control in Windows Form Application, and i have the application to display the building and progress of the projects in the label control using C# code. Along with the update of the label, the progress bar should also show progress simultaneously,
according to the building of the project. How should i do this ??

What i need to do is when i click the button named as "Build" in the GUI it will display the selected projects to build from the CheckedListbox into the label control placed in the GUI.

It depends on what your application is and how you build these files, if possible you could share them with us.
The most common way to display the progress, is to set the text for that label before or after we execute the line building these files.
You could place the lines setting the text or change the progressbar.value before or after the building lines.
Here is a simple sample using progressbar with a backgroundworker.
