Display world times in iView

I need to create a World Times iView to display the correct time (with automatic adjustment for summer time in each area) for say 5 or 6 different locations.
In a perfect world it would display something like:
London - Wednesday 15:28
Paris - Wednesday 16:28
is something like this possible? I would have assumed many corporate portals would have a need for a world time iView

To show clocks for more than one place at a time in Dashboard just drag out another clock.
Quit Dashboard then re-enter to sync the second hands on the clocks.

Displaying problem of Transactional iview -- Displaying ~ITS~ above iview

Hi ,
A transactional iview is created and assigned to a workset .
Its working fine.
When it is displaying , I closed the detailed Navigational panel by clicking on the arrow of the iview in content area . so that the iview may also occupy the detailed navigation area . It is displaying ITS above the iview that is below workset tab area .
When i again clicked on the arrow to see the detailed navigation .....it is again show one more time ITS ...as
ITSITS.....
when ever iam closing and opening detailed navigation area ....subsquently ITS message increasing....ITSITSITS.......
Can any one provide me solution for not displaying ITS message....

Check out your Interner Explorer settings, it happens sometime if your secutiry setting are kept high.
Change the Privacy setting to Medium or Low.

World time widget time is wrong

A frustrating bug in Dashboard. I just reinstalled Tiger OSX 10.4.4. The widgets that are standard on dashboard include world time. Although my computer time is correct, the time that is displayed for Honolulu (Pacific Continent) is one hour off (early). I used to have the correct time for Honolulu displayed on this widget under Mac OS X 10.4.2. Is there a way for Apple to be notified and have this corrected? It was working in my 10.4.2. just one week ago, so it's not related to daylight savings. I think there is a bug in the widget. Thanks, in advance.

I figured out why my time widget was off. I went into my preferences and set the time zone for Hawaii-Aleutian time zone. I apologize to Apple widget programmers for saying their program had a bug.

ICals on OS X & iOS display different time for same event

I am in UTC+8 time zone. My boss is in UTC-5 time zone. I have set up sync service on my MBA and iPhone iCals with my company's MS Exchange Server.
I have a weekly meeting invitation from my boss, my MBA iCal displays this meeting on 10:30pm which is wrong, while my iPhone and MS Server displays 9:30pm which is corret - the meeting takes places on 9:30pm my time.
All my other iCal events are fine on both devices, only this weekly event displays different time. I have taken with MBA and iPhone to travel around the world over the past half year and switched time zones on them, but they are all set to adjust time zones automatically, and they are with most up-to-date system. Why does MBA iCal displays wrong time? Can I adjust it? This problem exisits on Lion and now also on M Lion.

Try using floating time zones. It helped for me.

Translation of drop down box values in Time Advice iview

We have an issue where the values in the drop down box for Team Time Advice iView -> Display more time statements is only appearing in English. The values are 3 months, 6 months and 12 months. If we log into the portal in French then everything is translated to French except the values in the drop down box.
I am looking to find where these can be translated. Is it possible via the SPRO like it is for values for Organizational Structure Views, or is it only possible by core modding the internal local Java Dictionary in the Java Webdynpro?

Hi,
It really depends on where those values are coming from. It is possible that something like that is actually part of the Web Dynpro Application itself and not something that is taken from the backend system, so not possible to modify in the iMG.
My suggestion is that if this is standard SAP code that you raise a support message with SAP esp. since as you say all the other text is translated into French, it might just be a bug that they will fix.
If it is your own custom code then you need to look and see where those values come from. You can internationalize WDJ apps as described in this link: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_NW70EHP1/helpdata/en/2d/e7381138a8d2458f1f4fac32614f71/frameset.htm

World Time options missing from all watch faces? Why?

No matter what I do, I can't see the World Time options on any watch face customization screens. The option is simply not available anywhere on any watch face. I do have two cities successfully shown in my world time app on the watch and of course on my iPhone.

I have solved the issue it seems. To clarify, there were no options in any complication space on any watch face to show World Time cities. The options just weren't present anywhere. I have two cities setup on my phone's world time app, and those are mirrored properly on the watch's world time app also, which is why it was so weird that I couldn't make any of the complications be a world time clock.
I tried enabling the World Time Glance, and then all of a sudden I was able to put world time in the complications like I was expecting to.
Funny thing is - the whole point of doing this was to display my OWN local time (Ottawa) on the Mickey Mouse face cause it's semi-impossible to read easily, but my 2 year old son likes it.

You could simply use the Date class, and then adjust based on

through COGI, I get the good movements with error per material.
When I open the errors list for a material, I get the posting date for each good movements but not the time!

why not have a webtemplate with tabbed interace and use that webtemplate to create BWP iview?

I'm using jdeveloper 11.1.1.2.0 with ADF 11g.
I have to display the values in jsf frm table where i'm using DislayCertDetailVO . In dis VO i'm having a column no.of certificaties .taking dis column value when i navigate to other page jsf by selecting a specific row. here i have to display the selected row in multiple times based on the no.of.certificates column value.
I want to display specific row to display multiple time to repeat same row in a table in jsf based on the value from bean or table in database.

Hi, Trying it once more to give more clarity of my scenario.
I have to navigate from 1 screen to the other by picking a given table record/row from the 1st screen. While displaying the record on the 2nd screen the catch is that, I have to display it as many times as the value in a cell of the selected record.
eg.
screen 1
col1 col2 col3
2 order1 item1
[next]
On clicking next it should look like

where col3 and col4 will be editable by the user and col1 is the value depends how many times i have repeat the row/record

How can I display the time remaining in the bar on the top instead of the percentage using mountain lion?

Hi,
in Lion I was able to display the time passively in the top bar. Now I only have the chance to display the percentage. Anyone has a solution for this? I do not want to click always on my battery button just to see something I used to see in the past at a more prominent place.

I have checked that the firmware has been updated to 7.6.4 . Similalrly the Win8.1 machine has been loaded with the update specified in another discussion.

Firstly how are you connecting to the TC.. wireless or ethernet?
Please open a command window and ping it.. ping by name and by IP address.
If ping succeeds at least by IP it should work.
In windows explorer type
\\10.0.1.1 (or whatever the TC ip is.. that is the default).
Having the airport utility for windows loaded can help the process. As it loads bonjour for windows.
7.6.4 firmware on the TC is useless. It works better on 7.6.1
If the ping does not succeed by either name or IP address yet you have internet through the TC, then your network is setup wrongly. You are have firewalls blocking local IP. Take down all the firewalls.

Im using FORTE (UI). What the jTable display is the DATE (1900-01-01) which is not what I want. I want the time to appear in the jTable (hh.mm.ss a).
What I did was to use the TO_CHAR function of ORACLE to format the
date to display the correct time in the VIEW before mapping this view
to be used as a MODEL by the jTable.
It works now.
