Display zoomed in all the time

The text on the phone is constantly zoomed in and the phone won't return to normal size. I can't use the phone very well at all.

You have the Zoom feature enabled on your iPhone. The iPhone includes access to the user guide, which is provided as a Safari bookmark, or you can download the user guide as a PDF file from Apple's website to your computer.

Display saying record all the time

Hi guys.
I reported on here about 4 months ago that the display always says it recording all the time. I was told on here that the problem has been noted and would be fixed in a upcoming update, but it hadn't ?
Anyone know when this is being fixed?

IMessage displays "not delivered" all the time

every iMessage i send says 'delivered' for a second, then switches to 'not delivered' even though my recipients tell me they have been. and their messages to me (which i DO receive) also say 'not delivered'

jkalef lets make certain that everything is on the same page! Are you experiencing any trouble with other Apple services, like FaceTime? Does this happen intermittently or all the time? Have you noticed this happens when you're connected to Wi Fi or to the network? To ensure your device is properly syncing, I would recommend Resetting the Network Settings http://vz.to/1lk3Jp7 . I have a large screen and I can't find a way of making the web pages larger without having too zoom in every time i load a new web page.

My Ipod touch has a problem where the apps are zoomed up all the time, even the welcome/unlock screen is zoomed in. How can i fix this?

The apps, unlock screen, and any in app usage is all magnified.

It sounds as though the Zoom Accessibility feature got turned on. This link will detail how to turn this feature off from either iTunes or from the iPod itself.

Maverick has messed up my computer. Slow scrolling in I photo. Bookmark icons are blue all the time and not marked with the company symbols. I cannot find out how to solve this.

I switched to Mavericks two weeks ago and have had nothing but troubles. Scrolling in I photo is slow and very inaccurate. When I click and drag a photo the ones above it all flicker, making it hard to find where to put it. My bookmarks bar Icons are all blue. Before they used to show the symbol for the company they represented. Now I click on one, it changes to what I want, then a few minutes of hour later, it goes back to the blue ball, which I hate. My font size is different with every page and I have to click Zoom in all the time. I tried adjusting it in Preferences in Advance settings on the right, but this does not solve the problem permanetly. I have one web page, a hockey one, which tries to load, then I get either a black page or a white one. Driving me nuts. I need some help. Been to Apple at the store, talked to them on the phone for four hours last week. Rebuilt the I photo library with no luck. Would appreciate any help. Please Thanks. I even keep a fan behind my computer to keep it cool, that is how much I look after this baby. Some say it might be Safari? Not sure. I have little computer experience, so please it you are kind enough to reply, do not use tech talk or short forms as I will not understand any of it.

I have a few of your issues as well: 1) Safari popular icons are all bue making them very hard to distinguish from each other. 2) My font size is also different with each page / window. What I have been able to find out is that in the Maverick OS - Apple removed one size of display resolution 2048 x 1152. Whether this is the cause of my 27" screen clarity & font size issues, I do not know - but it seems like a contributing factor. Maybe help is on the way - maybe not. Cheers

Dashboard - displaying a widget on top of all windows all the time

Seems that I remember in previous versions of Dashboard, you could get it to show selected (or all) widgets all the time. Call it "on the desktop" or "on the top level" or whatever, but you didn't have to enter the expose-like environment to interact with a widget.
Is there a way to do this or am I missing something or did they take this away in the later version(s) or ...??
Widgets have been more of a novelty to me as I haven't really had a need for widgets until now. I have one widget that I'd like to have shown all the time on my second monitor as, well, as a dashboard display. But I need it there all the time.
I also seem to remember using a 3rd party util that provided another way to do this, but all the ones I've just looked at and tried don't offer that desktop-level functionality.

It involves hitting (and holding down) the hot-key for Dashboard (F12 unless you've changed it in the sys prefs), dragging the widget you want and then releasing the hot-key. When released, you should still be dragging the widget and it should remain floating on the desktop.
In addition, there's a command-line terminal hack for developers which will apparently make this permanent, although I haven't verified this yet:
defaults write com.apple.dashboard devmode YES
It seems to be working for me so far. Anyone care to verify this?

Allowed Mozilla to upgrade to 9.0.1 . . . I used to be able to display all my bookmarks, all the time, in a sidebar . . . lost that functionality.

Not sure what more I can add . . . before I updated to 9.0.1, I had all my bookmarks displayed in a side bar, all the time . . . I have lost the ability to have that functionality.

Try hitting ''ctrl+b'' to bring up the bookmarks sidebar. Hitting ''Alt'' will bring up the old menu bar items temporarily if you are seeing the ''Firefox'' menu. You can also got to ''Firefox > Options > Menu bar'' to give Firefox a more familiar feel. Then you can access the sidebar from the bookmarks menu.
You should also take a look at the Knowledge Base article [[Navigation Toolbar items]] to see how you can add the button to the tool bar for quick access.

Won't display my gadgets - explorer does - so not gadgets - what gives - use to all the time - not anymore - how do I get them back

All of a sudden my gadgets don't display in my igoogle home page. Use to all the time and they will if I use internet explorer it just happens with mozilla firefox.
How do I get them to display properly they just are listed on the left hand side of the screen.

Symantec need to update their Firefox add-ons so that they are compatible with Firefox 4. They have indicated that for Norton 360 they plan to release an update to Norton 360 to support Firefox 4 in early May - http://us.norton.com/support/kb/web_view.jsp?wv_type=public_web&docurl=20100720113635EN&ln=en_US
Pending the update by Symantec, if you want to use the Norton add-ons you will need to downgrade to Firefox 3.6.
To downgrade to Firefox 3.6 first uninstall Firefox 4, but do not select the option to "Remove my Firefox personal data". If you select that option it will delete your bookmarks, passwords and other user data.
You can then install the latest version of Firefox 3.6 available from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html - it will automatically use your current bookmarks, passwords etc.
To avoid possible problems with downgrading, I recommend going to your profile folder and deleting the following files if they exist - extensions.cache, extensions.rdf, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite and localstore.rdf. Deleting these files will force Firefox to rebuild the list of installed extensions, checking their compatibility, and reset toolbar customizations.

N97 Keeping the Display ON all the time

Is there anyway to do this?
The max time I can keep the display on for is 60 second, EVEN if the phone is connected to the mains adapter. This is rather stupid since there are times when I want the screen on all the time - eg. when connected to a power adapter in the car and running a GPS maps routing program. I know Nokia Maps has an option to keep the screen on all the time, but as far as I can see Garmin MobileXT does not.
It seems odd to me to have to build this option into Nokia Maps - why not make it available as an option in the actual Symbian OS, then it doesn't need to be coded into every single app running on that platform.
Perhaps I am missing something? What do others do to get round this limitation?

Being able to do so would dramatically decrease your iPod's battery life between charges.
