Displaying a graph in a seperate VI

I want to display a graph in seperate window (VI) but I also like to
enable/disable this window. Is there a possibility to switch on or of the
VI's frontpanel from within the program?

There's also the possibility to use a tab-control (You would be in need of
LabView 6i) . Look for an example in which it is used at:
FIR filtering using Optional Specs.vi.

(geintroduceerd in LabView 6i) erg handig zijn. Dat wat je niet wilt
zien..... Een leuke 3D versie daarvan vind je overigens in 'array and
clusters' op je controls pallet

Display only graph in the Crystal report viewer

Background:
We used Crystal Reports ver10 to display various graphs in our ASP.Net 2.0 Web Application (Visual Studio 2005)
We recently migrated our application to .NET 4.5 and Crystal Reports ver13 (Visual Studio 2012)
Issue:
Now, the Crystal Report Viewer control loads the graph inside an <IFRAME> which shows the whole page with the graph placed on the right bottom corner instead of just the graph image as it used to previously.
I have checked various properties that hides the tree and the toolbar and I am unable to get rid of the whole page.
Query:
Is there a way to not display the page and display only the image that contains the graph? OR
Is there a way to not render the whole <iframe> and just display the graph image inside a <div> as it used to happen before?

Hi Ludek, thanks for your response. Please refer the screenshots below.
1) CR ver10 - the graph <img> is simply enclosed inside a div
2) CR ver13 - the graph <img> is enclosed inside an <iframe>'s body - you can also see the scroll bars and "white-page-background" and "grey space" which I am hoping to hide or disable
3) We are using the same set of CRViewer properties in both cases:
- DisplayGroupTree = False
- DisplayToolbar = False
- HasDrillUpButton = Flase
- HasRefreshButton = False
- HasToggleGroupTreeButton = Fasle
- HasViewList = False
- HasZoomFactorList = False
- EnableViewState = True
4) Here's a screenshot of of the .rpt file opened in the VS 2012:
We only want to render the graph image on the UI and not the whole page. Is there a property setting that will help us achive this or should we define explicit CSS styles to hide those areas?

Oracle reports output in excel format does not display the graphs: "linked image cannot be displayed".
The output file in PDF format the graph is supported.

Do you have any header and footer on your template?
If you have any header and footer then try to adjust it as of to display full page.

Display LabVIEW graphs in realtime from previously acquired data

I have some raw LabVIEW data stored in a BIN file. This file contains about 4 channels of labview graph data that was acquired. How can I open the raw LabVIEW data and view the four steams in realtime? I need to be able to view the data as it scrolls across in the same way as when the data was acquired. Is there a program or premade VI to do this?
I will then use screen capture software to create videos of the labview graphs. If there is a way to directly convert the visual labview graph data into a video that displays the graph in the same way it was collected that would be ideal. For now I would be happy just getting the data displayed in the same way as it was collected.

I'm sure this has been asked before, but I am having a hard time finding the other messages.
Basically you need to create a VI that reads in the binary data from the file. You also need to know the acquistion rate for that data, what is the dt between data points. Now feed that data into a for loop (auto-indexed) that feeds the data one point at a time to a waveform chart. The loop would have a wait statement equivalent to your dT of the data. Thus the loop runs at the same rate as you had acquired the data adding a point at a time to the waveform chart.

Web display of graphs through oracle 9i reports

How do i display a graph on the web page in reports 9i.

Invoke Builder. Create a Report with layout "Web and paper layout".
Now switch to Web Source. Go to Menu, Insert -> Graph. Graph Wizard will be invoked. Create the required graph.
Save the report as JSP.
Now you can run the Report throuh Builder: - > Run Web Layout and graph will be shown or browser with other data in Web Layout.
or You can run the Report as JSP from OC4J and see the output.

Displaying a graph from a signal generator

I am extremely new to labview and I am still trying to navigate my way around the basics.
How do I display a graph using a signal generator? I am using NI USB-6251 and I have connected the signal generator to AI.0. I used the input daq which turned into a task. Used the read component and wired it to a graph indicator, but I am not showiing the waveform. What am I doing wrong?

My recommendation if you are just getting started would be to begin with one of the analog input examples included with LabVIEW. From within LabVIEW, you can select "Find Examples..." from the Help menu, which will bring up the Example Finder. I would recommend taking a look at "Voltage - Continuous Input.vi", which can be found by searching in the finder. You should be able to select your analog input channel from the pull down, and see your data on the graph. Use one of these examples as a template for your project.

Displaying a graph

Based on a exponential function I'd like to display a graph. I thought about sending the function as a paramenter to a java program which will calculate the graph and return a jpg or png.
What are the required steps? JRE 1.4.2 is installed on the production server.
I guess I have to setup a java connector and use function modules? The java program is returning a binary file or do you think it would be better to store the binary file on the hard drive and let the ABAP coding access the hard drive?
Any help is very much appreciated.

Why don't you just call the Internet Graphics Service (IGS) to so this? That is what it is for.

Displaying JavaFX Graph through xml located remotely

I am writing a application which gets a XML file thought URL and parse it and generates a JavaFX Graph.
i used HTTPRequest and PullParser
I know due to asyncronous call of HTTPRequest its not displaying the graph.
I like to know easy and effective way to creating this type of application.
I use my code in this format

Hi.
One solution could be to put a message "Loading..." as the scene´s initial content.
Then at the end of the XML reading, You call a function that change the scene´s content to Your chart.
The function could look like this:

}Another try could be to instantiate Your chart and bind It as the scene´s content.

Displaying Plus Graphs in Viewer

I trying to display a graph which I've created in Discoverer Plus in the Discoverer Viewer. I was wondering what steps need to be taken to get the graph to display. (which pages and components you had to modify, special way to save the worksheet in Plus, etc.) Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hello.
I don't know if this helps, but:
I believe that, if you create a graph in Desktop, it will NOT show up in the Viewer. Only graphs that are created in Plus show up in Viewer.
I have noticed problems with workbooks when I open them in desktop--even after creating them in Plus. I am trying to avoid the Desktop version all-together.
If I were you, I would try to create the workbook from scratch and add a graph in Plus only. Then, check it out in the viewer.
There are also URL parameters that help with the display. You may want to check the docs.

XML Publisher Report not displaying Chart/Graph in Excel Output

We are currently on Oracle EBS 11.5.10.2
I am facing an issue with XML Publisher based report when i try to fetch the output in Excel.
We have created an RTF in which i have embedded a graph. While viewing the output in PDF everything seems to work fine.
however when i try to run the report with output as Excel the Graph is not displayed.
Can you please let me know if i missed anything.
Also it would be very helpful if someone can tell me how to get the output of Excel in .XLSX format.
I have seen in various forums that you need to select the output type as Excel 2007, but i am not getting any such option while submitting the report.
I am on EBS version 11.5.10.2 do we need to install any patch to get the output option.

then Click HTML Output
Then in the Base Image URI Give the url of your application for example

To have the XML Publisher graphs display when started from Concurrent request, the DISPLAY environment variable must be specified.
Please review the following Note on how to setup the Xserver
Configuring VNC Or XVFB As The X Server For Applications 11i (Doc ID 181244.1)
After this is done, you can run once again the concurrent program and check the output.

How do you display a graph on another machine using vi server?

I have to machines one server and one client. So far I have set things up so that the client can read and control all the controls on the server machine "test.vi". Everything there is working fine. However, when I use the Vi method "get all control values" only the controls on that test.vi are listed and not the graph or any other indicators. I would like to be able to push a button on the client machine to display the data being displayed on the server machine. Is this possible? If so how? There doesn't appear to be any vi methods titled "get all indicator values".
I have included vis to help show my problem.

At least since LabVIEW 6.0, the method "Get all Control Values" has a second property called 'Controls' that takes a boolean input. If left unwired or set to true, you get the Contol values. If you set it to False, you get all the indicator values.

Problem displaying a graph

I am trying to display a line graph from a given arrays of integers, which are stores as x and y points consecutively. (ie. int values[] = {x0,y0,x1,y1,etc...})
However, after I compiled and run the code, no graph is displayed. What's wrong?...

This is a very nice piece of code, but you do have to call it. Override JPanel's paintComponent method, so that it calls paintGraph(), and your're done.
