Displaying Google Ads inside Flash

Just wondering if there's a way to put google ads "inside"
the flash site. I know, currently, it parses the html text that is
visible and that's how the ads are somewhat relevant to the
currently displayed info.
Is this still possible inside a flash site?

I don't know if it ever made it out of beta, but I seem to
remember reading about getting your adsense ads via RSS (which you
could then load into your flash movie).

Html content inside flash ? how?

So when the users visit the site they can see the offer and if they like it to contact the company. Basically a table with some text in it ... but then i need to save this in some file (this is still done in the php) and after it is saved in a file I need to somehow show it in its table form inside a textarea in flash. Or if not in a textarea in some other way inside the flash movie i need to display that content in its table form. What I am using now is a web text editor from http://ckeditor.com/ which provides a way to paste the table in the content management system (or admin panel) and then it saves it to a file. The problem is how do I display the table inside flash ?

Flash has very limited support of html tags and tables are not included. So if you want to show an html table then your best bet will be to link to an html web page.

Why Firefox 25.0 does not show Google ads and Facebook comments and likes. All other browsers do.

I've just upgraded to FireFox 25.0 and I have issues viewing Google ads and Facebook comments and likes on my website (wellfitstyle.com). All other browsers show Google adds in the right sidebar and Facebook comments and likes under each post. Great number of people in Eastern Europe (where I am) use FireFox and I would like to know how this issue can be fixed.

Flex mobile 4.6 app works inside flash builder but not in android emulator

I have a basic flex mobile 4.6 app and it works fully fine in the flash builder built-in emulator using an android device profile like aria...
It also launches fine in the android emulator but one particular view shows blank (and this view works fine in flash builder).
Before I get in to many details of the view are there any categorical gotchas that can be causing this?
I can't seem to get the trace statements from the app to show in 'adb logcat'. It seems I need to compile a debug version of the apk but I don't know how to do this. I use the 'Export Release Build' from the Project menu in flash builder and it doesn't seem to have an option for debug=true.
The problematic/blank view basically uses the stagewebview and iotashan's oauth library to call linkedin rest apis... A different (and working) view can make restful web service calls in the emulator fine, so it doesn't seem to be an internet permission.
The source code contained in the problematic/blank view is almost identical to the tutorial found at:http://www.riagora.com/2011/01/air-and-linkedin/
The differences are: a) The root tag is a View b) I use StageWebView instead of HtmlContainer c) I use my own linkedin key and tokens.
I would appreciate it if someone can provide me with some pointers on how to troubleshoot this situation. Perhaps someone can tell me how to debug the app while running in the emulator (I think I need the correct adt command arguments for this which matches the 'Export Release Build' menu but adds the debug param?)

I suspect that this has to do with connections to https:// api.linkedin.com and https:// www.linkedin.com. The only reason I can think of that the same code is not having issues inside of Flex Builder but indeed having issues in the Android emulator is something to do with certificates. Any ideas?

I have created a project that clearly reproduces the bug. Here are the steps:
1) Create a UrlLoader and point it to https://www.google.com (HTTPS is important because http works but HTTPS does not)
2) Load it
3) Run in Flash Builder 4.6/Air 3.1 and then run in Android emulator. The former works with an http status 200. The latter gives you an ioerror 2032. I am assuming what works in Flash Builder is supposed to work in the Android Emulator and what what works in the emulator is supposed to work in a physical device (plus or minus boundary conditions).
I see a certificate exception in adb logcat but not sure if it's related...

How do I get a program on my harddrive to run inside flash on my computer? I would like to build a Flash front end for my boat pc, but I would need to be able able to open up a program inside a flash.exe?

So I know it is possible, I just need the know how.
EDIT: I looked further into to this, and it is perfect for my needs. my first look was quick and I saw a close to 300 price tag and that it was a compiler, 2nd longer look showed it was free for personal use and has lots of great system features.

Two main steps are needed to use requests that requires authentication. First, you must register your game with Twitter. Second, you must either implement the OAuth protocol or use a library like Tweetr that implements the protocol.
Game Registration
To use requests that require authentication (and those for which it is supported), you must first register your game with Twitter at https://dev.twitter.com/apps/new. (See Fig11-12.)

Displaying a cfreport inside a cfwindow

I am trying to display a cfreport inside a cfwindow rather
than in an external window, but all that is being displayed inside
the window when it is called is gibberish. As far as I know, and as
per Firebug, I am sending the correct content type, but it's still
not working. Am I fighting a battle I can't win? Or is it more of a
problem between my seat and my keyboard? I need to get this
resolved asap - just like everyone else in the forum I know - so if
anyone sees this and can get back to me at the earliest time

The only place I can think of where Flash will render html is in a textbox with the "render as html" option selected. I don't know if it will render all the html markup that would comprise an entire page, though.....

Google Maps for Flash in AIR for Android: ~2 minutes to start up

I have a "Hello World" style AIR for Android app using Flash Builder 4 Burrito/Flex Hero.
When debugging on device (stock HTC Desire) using Flex version v1.20 of Google Maps for Flash (map_flex_1_20.swc), it takes 1 minute and 50 seconds for the app to startup to display a simple map:Map3D on the home screen. The same app without the map:Map3D object starts in just a few seconds.
There are no startup delays using the simulator.
Anyone know what might be causing the severe startup delay when running on device?

You'll need to add a valid Google Maps API key and corresponding URL back into the maps:Map3D object:

To Display SWF file or Flash file in Web Page Composer (WPC)

I am goning to add & display 'swf file or flash file' in <b>Web Page Composer</b>.
But it is not allowing me to do so.I tried by three ways
1} to upload this file directly from local machine & to add in WPC
2}By using linklist option
3}By creating KM Document iview;which contain swf file.& then adding that iview in wpc.
but at last it is not displaying though allowing to add it in WPC.

First... we are all new to WPC!
Second, no I don't think you need to create a new container. I think that you just need to add the swf type as an allowed type for the container.
So...
Figure out which container you are trying to add the flash file to (as you mentioned, A1, A2, etc).
Navigate to:
Sys Admin --> Sys Config --> Knowledge Mgt --> Content Mgt --> WPC --> Containers.
Edit the container you want to use.
There will be a box named Allowed Mime Types.
In here, select the "swf" mime type (make sure the check box is checked). Then Save.
At my company, we had the WPC ramp up from SP12, and are now on SP13.
I'm not sure what you get if the first time you had WPC is SP13, but for us I see two default A1 (and A2...B1..C4...etc) containers -- one that has "default" in the name and one that has "def" in the name. From what I see, SP13 WPC uses the one with "def" in the name, not "default". So, make sure you modify the one with "def" in the name.
After you make this change, you should see "swf" in the list inside the container when you are editing a page.

per se.

Google Maps inside Web Dynpro

I've been trying to run Google Maps inside Webdynpro ABAP but I'm faced with a problem.
In a normal HTML page with flash component I use Flashvars to send the API key to the component, but in SAP I can't use them. The result is API key error.
I've got the key inside the SWF but it doesn't work without Flashvars. Is there a way to use them?
EDIT: So, I put the HTML file in the root of the site, instead of a subfolder and now it works....weird. The question then is, to use google maps in a Webdynpro which URL to I need to register the API key for.
EDIT2: It was a cache problem....the "folder site" was store in cache. It works fine now.

Incorporating affiliate ads into Flash website

Forgive me if this question has been asked a million times.
I have an entire website built in Flash (easier to use (I'm a designer not a programmer) and I just think it looks better!) and I want to incorporate some affiliate advertising banner ads. And have no idea how to link to their sites using their supplied code.
For example, for one ad I have a choice of html code:

You won't be able to link the ads using their code if you are placing the ads within the Flash file. You will need to create your own means of applying links to the using Actionscript--either creating invisible button to go over the ads, or placing the ads inside movieclips. The only usable portion of their code would be the url's that get linked.
