Displaying Lyrics?

Hi! iTunes is absolutely fantastic to use, but something that bothers me a little is that if I want to see the lyrics, I have to right-click the song, click "Get Info" and then "Lyrics". I was wondering if there was an app of function that'll display the lyrics to the songs while playing (like karaoke). I have a lot of songs in another language and I want to sing along without having to go through that process each time. :\

the lyrics still didn't show up.
It only had the ratings and CD pic and stuff...
This is the correct way to display lyrics.
Have you entered the lyrics into the lyrics tab for each track in iTunes? The lyrics do not get delivered automatically. You need to type them in manually for each song.

For whatever reason the iPad will not display lyrics, I think its been this way since iOS 7. The iPhone will display them, but not iPad. I don't think its a bug, I think Apple wants it this way for some reason ... give your feedback here:

Been waiting for an mp3 player with large drive that displays lyrics tags...why's it so difficult to find out if this ipod has that feature? If the feature is already available in the nano, how hard could it be to put it in the ipod?
Unless someone says differently, I will assume it does not; if it did, Apple would surely advertise the heck out of it. This is a major feature for some of us!

What is needed is an iTunes script which will mass-lookup, and mass-import the Lyrics for all hilited tracks in the iTunes window, etc etc. No way to I want to do 3,000 songs, one at a time!
Does Doug have a script for this?
BTW- Is there a script/utility to do the same for album art? En-mass lookup and install album art?

Want to know how to display lyrics on my new iPad (iOS6 latest)...
All my songs have lyrics attched, but I can not display them when music plays....

Lyric display is not currently supported on the iPad Music app.
You might check the app store for some alternative music players that do.

I know itunes display lyrics when you right click on the song, and click info, but it is very inconvenient. Anyone know any user friendly music-player program that automatically displays easy-to-read lyrics?

Display lyrics on Zen MP3 player

I am a musician and using a Zen player to play backing tracks when busking. I have read in the help files that you can add lyrics to MP3 WAV files using the lyrics editor and then put them on the Zen that should show them when the tune is played. I have used the Lyrics editor successfully and the lyrics/chords show in Windows Media Player now playing screeen, but when transferred to the ZEN MP3 player they do not show. The help files for the transfer software say you can turn on this feature but reading the ZEN help file I cannot find any reference to this. I have tried transferring the files using Creative sofware and Windows Media Player without success. How can I display lyrics on the MP3 player. Any help very much [email protected]

The only player I was aware of that could display lyrics was the MuVo V00 & 200. I could be wrong about others not having that feature. If you get it worked out please post a "HowTo" on this.

Display lyrics as/in visualization

Hi,
Does anyone know of a way to display lyrics on the visualization screen? I thought it would be fun to be able to have the lyrics up there (similar to the way it shows the song title, etc on the visuals).

As far as I'm aware it is only the iPod Nano and the iPod 5G (with video) that can display the lyrics - there has been no update for older models that includes the lyrics feature (shame, as it would be nice on my 4G!).
As far as displaying lyrics over the visualizations goes I'm not aware of this being possible with iTunes (although I don't use visualizations often) - it is possible a 3rd party plug-in would allow you to do this, maybe a search on Google would turn up some results?

My iphone can't display lyrics

I can't see the lyrics are in my songs vie iTunes, but my iphone 5 just desn't want to display them.
I tried to pasted the lyrics manually into the songs (get info - lyrics), it didn't work;
then I boughty an app, musixmatch lyrics, that workd good to find lyrics and syned the lyrics into songs,
but my iphone still couldn't display any lyrics.
Please help

Update: I fixed half my problem - I reinstalled the Apple Mobile Device Driver and now my iPhone syncs. However - my husband's phone still does nothing when I connect it to the same computer - it doesn't even get picked up as a camera/device.
Hoping someone out there can offer some guidance!

Lyrics in other languages?

My Ipod Touch has no problem displaying lyrics in English. However, in other languages, it's not displaying right. Any thoughts? I don't think it supports other languages for displaying lyrics.

1) Copy the lyrics from your source.
2) Paste into the lyrics tab of the song(s) when you get info on a song.
3) Sync your Touch.
4) Play the song in portrait mode - not cover flow.
5) Tap the screen once and the lyrics should super-impose on the screen.

Still no lyrics with iOS 5.1.1!!!

Latest update to iOS 5.1.1 and still cannot display lyrics in the music app for the iPad.
You can display lyrics on the iPod and you can display/edit lyrics in iTunes so it's not a matter of copyright or ability.
I've submitted NUMEROUS feedback forms that displaying the lyrics needs to be restored for the iPad but typical to Apple arrogance -- the consumer comes last.
I've had to use a laptop in order to display lyrics when I need them.
If the functionality wasn't already there in iOS 4 then I wouldn't be upset but to have Apple remove the functionality -- AND not give an explantion for doing so OR restore the functionality -- just proves that the consumer is an afterthought.

I'm not asking for new functionality... I want EXISTING FUNCTIONALITY restored.
The simple fact that, apparently, iPhone/iPod users can display lyrics but iPad users cannot -- WITH THE SAME OPERATING SYSTEM -- is what is so frustrating.
It astounds me to listen to Apple Fanboys say, "... check the app store for..."
I don't care if another player in the app store is free and displays lyrics. It's about Apple taking the ability out of the end-users hands.
I'm going to bring up two earlier points AGAIN:
1. Purchasing an app to provide functionality that was already there is not fair to the consumers either.
2. If I had the opportunity to return the iPad I would but it was a gift and it was custom engraved so that option is not available to me.
I have convinced many of my customers to not purchase Apple products based on this very example of Apple's disregard for the end-users. A consumer can deal with this type of treatment but a business cannot.

Lyrics won't show up

I can't get lyrics to display on a lot of my songs that do have lyrics in iTunes. First, my iPod Touch was messing up all my album art, so I deleted all of it and put it back on the iPod, and that fixed it. Then, it decided not to show lyrics. Once again, I deleted all the music but this time, putting it back didn't fix the problem. So I restored the iPod in iTunes and loaded it from scratch, not from a backup, and it still will not display lyrics for a lot of my songs. Is there a fix?

Go to iTunes, and then go to "About iTunes". If you're using version 9.1.1 (11) you may need to download the newest version here http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ and install it. That will fix the problem.

Do lyrics sync onto iPod - how do you get them

I I know you can display lyrics in itunes- under the lyrics tab. My question is can you those lyrics be displayed on the ipod classic? I've synced...but I dont see where the lyrics would appear on the ipod. I've read that it is possible but Im wondering if there's some sort of setting Ive got to change in order to see the lyrics on my ipod...or maybe I just dont know where to look. I see playlists, artists, albums, genre but I dont see a lyrics option. Ive also checked under settings
