Displaying Marketing Plan / Plan Elements in Marketing Calendar

Hi,
I am unable to view the Marketing Plan and Marketing Plan elements in the Marketing Calendar.
I am query and see the Campaigns though.
Can someone please let me know, what settings i need to do.

Do the following customiseing settings for Marketing calender.
Define search criteria
Assign Search Criteria
Assign Graphic Profile for Marketing Calendar
marketing calender in PCUI
Define Views for Marketing Calendar
You can use marketing plan and campaign to create from marketing calender dropdown values in pcui in GUI as well when you select marketing plan you will get graphical bar to select double click on it will take you through marketing planner where you define marekting plan and you can change the dates usering the graphical bar by dragging as per date option you can set colours as per your marketing and campaign types as well.
also apply snotes if you are working on CRM 5.0
Note 941526 PCUI calendar. With related notes 948988 Marketing Calendar does not print in its entirety ,

Hi,
Marketing Org Unit determination on Marketing Plans/Campaigns depends upon user assignment in organisation stucture,
you have to look at following things for automatic determination of Marketing Org Unit.
1) In Organisation structure select your marketing Org and in Function tab select Marketing and tick in check box Marketing Organization
2) Create Position under your marketing org as Marketing Manager and assign User which your using to create marketing plans/campaign.
As in case of marketing system check the user org unit and it determine marketing org on the basis of user assigment.

Assuming you are talking about Maintenance Order.
Use table: PMCO.
Here the line with field VORGA having value KPPS gives the Planned Costs of the Order in the field WRT01.
Similarly, the line with field VORGA having value RKL gives the Actual Costs of the Order in the field WRT01.
Also have a look at Tcode KKBC_ORD.

Display Hierarchy in Planning layout

Hi,
I am using a Cost Center Hierarchy in planning area, level & layout. After executing a planning folder, System is asking me the Fiscal Year, Plant, and Cost Center Hierarchy. In Herarchy I have selected the PM4. But in excel layout it display node of this this hierarfhy.
i.e. MILLA -> PM4 -> 220300
I have selected PM4 but in excel planning layout header it display 220300.
Our requirement is PM4 should be display in excel planning layout header.
If anyone have idea how to do this please guide me. Thanx in advance.

1. Check into material master data itself whether it has the data (you can check either to master data & master data text). If you have no data, you need to fill it.
Yah I have loaded master data with text. When we go into BI and check maintian master data it shows plenty of records. So the data is there in BI.
2. Go to the corresponding material info-object, then edit it. Go to Business Explorer tab, you will see the setting for Query Def. filter Value Selection, you must set up it into Values in Master Data Table (M).
This setting is I have already done. But still I am facing problem.
When I click on that help button in web-layout. The new screen shows only selection fields but the below are blank.

example
suppose we planned cost element 10000001 with value 100000
we need to plan the cost element 1000002 as the following ( cost element 10000001 * 10 % )

your code(Cursor = System.Windows.Forms.Cursors.WaitCursor) is correct but you need to place this code under menu click event(from which you are opening the form) in beforeaction (true).
and you place thisline(Cursor = System.Windows.Forms.Cursors.Default) after loading your data.

Planning : plan number issue for plan3

Hi guys,
I've created an planning app containing 3 standard plans : plan 1, plan 2 and plan3.
My EPM system release is the 11.1.1.3.
On my Account dimension, my master plan is plan1.
Some detailed data must be supported by plan2 or plan3. Then, only the agregated member is valid for plan1.
I manage to do this without any issue with my plan2. (I check plan2 as source plan type for detailed data).
My issue : It's impossible with plan3, the source plan type must be plan1 for all my detailed data.
The number affected for my plan3 number is 4, althought I've not created a Planning Capex plan.
I tried to do this on another application, I encountered the same issue.
*Have you ever seen such an issue?
What could I do to solve it?*

As per my understanding, what you have mentioned above is exactly the way SAP is designed. Its SAP Standard behaviour.
But if you check your PR document type - no:range & the CBP no:range both will be same only since both refers to the same object.
Please check the PR document type that you have assigned in the CBP & its no:ranges.

Planning Planned order in planning table graphic (PP-PI)

Is it true that cannot plan planned orders, that will be destined to process orders in the table of graphical planning? (CM25).
Because I tested with all the profiles standard and no one leaves me to dispach planned order....

Location aliases on Planning plan type

Hi.
We are going to use @XREF function over Planning plan types.
As I created a new Planning application, I noticed that location aliases have been automatically created ( RevCube, PnlCube, BsCube ): in fact, I can found them in HSP_CUBES table. Using Administration Console, I can find them also on databases; however passwords are not set.
I was wondering how to set password or change location alias name through Planning web pages.
Or I have to manually change it in HSP_CUBE table? However, by this way it seems that refreshing database through Planning Administration's menu does not change location aliases.

Hi,
The location aliases are created when you run a create from planning, the amount of location aliases that are created depends on the amount of plan types, it may look like there is no password but it has been set and is used.
You shouldn't need to change of the details.

I try to change the Planning Profile Group of a marketing plan from 'Business Marketing' to blank and get the error message
Transfer of char. val. combination only allowed with a time specification

Marketing Planning Planning and Actual Cost

We have a clinet requirement, where they want Marketing Planning functionality to be implemented. They want to use Budget Planning and Actual cost tracking functionality. Now as per my understanding we use SEM/BI for planning (Key Figure) and PS or COPA integration for Actual Cost Tracking.
Is my understanding correct and what are the steps required for the two. Client has currently implemented SEM/BI and ECC, but PS is not in scope. So we will have to capture Actual Cost using COPA.

Currently Purchase Requision and Purchase Order Commitments are expressed on controlling area currency by applying the M (or market) rate to the object currency. We would like commitments to use the P-rate for currency conversion. Both rates are defined in table OB08. How do we do this? Is it done by configuration? If so, where is the config?

Well, you have to balance risk and benefit. A higher salary risks that you won't get the salary job and will have to stay with the hourly, but the benefit could be, obviously, a higher salary. A lower salary request clearly risks getting less money, but the benefit is a greater certainty of getting the job. So you have to consider your preferences for the two jobs, plus whether you prefer hourly or salary.
If it isn't clear by now, there's a very limited amount of advice anyone can give you. :-)

Resources not getting displayed in Resource Planning iView

Hi,
We are working in CRM 5.0. We have assigned the iview for Resource Planning for a Portal Role. The iView is also opening correctly.
The Problem is that when we give a Particular Service Org Unit (Technicians Group) in Advanced Search, none of the Resources are getting displayed in the Gantt Chart and also no service order items are getting displayed.
The same thing is working fine in GUI. All related WFM settings and resource creation report have been done.

I am also trying to access Resource Planning iView from CRM through EP
Workforce Management> Resource Planning
While accessing the iView I am getting the following error
The Application WFDS_RPA is Invalid.
I have checked on the SICF transaction for the following BSP application
WFDS_RPA.
But I could not found one on the list.
I have also checked the CRM BSP Application List. But It is not available there.
tHAT'S WHY i AM GETTING THE ERROR.
How can I check and get this BSP application ?

Key Figure Display in Interactive Planning

Hello,
I am unable to display some of the key figures in SNP Interactive Planning. All these Key Figures are present in Planning book and are also included in the data view.
Is there any setting wherein I can control the display of Key figure although that key figure is present in Planning book and data view. For Example I have my "safety stock" key figure in my planning book and data view, but I am unable to see the "safety stock" key figure in SNP interactive planning.
Would really appreciate your help.

Your answer is really helpful, thanks for that. But while I am trying to hide some key figures it is not allowing me to do so. It is either hiding all the key figures or unhiding all. Please let me know if why the system is behaving like this.
