Displaying photos in itunes.

I want to display my pics i have on my itouch in itunes.I searched and found that in the photo tab in tunes that you have to check the full resolution box, but i tried tunes 9.1 and now 9.2, but when i open the photo tab there is no box. also my tunes display looks corrupted as some of the words seem to be cut off. I really think you're making this more complicated than it needs to be.
*Pictures originally on your computer:*
1a. Presumably, you have chosen a folder (on your computer) that iTunes uses to Sync photos onto the iPod. The default folder is *My Pictures* but it can be any folder you wish. Create one called <whatever you want> *(Touch Pictures* for example). Use the *Touch Pictures* folder to Sync with your iPod. You chose, or can choose the folder on the *Photos tab* in iTunes that you mentioned in your first post.
1b. Either move or copy only the pictures you want on your iPod into the *Touch Pictures* folder. Remove any photos from there that you no longer want on your Touch.
1c. The next Sync will add the ones you put into the folder and remove the ones you took out. _You don't need any other programme._
*Pictures taken as screen-shots on your iPod Touch:*
2a. Any pictures you take as screen-shots (using the iPod screen-shot) or within an App will be added to the *Camera Roll* on your Touch. *(Camera Roll* only appears, above the *Photo Library,* in the photos App on the Touch when you have screen-shots in it.)
2b. When you connect your Touch to iTunes, a camera wizard pops up to prompt you to move the photos from the Touch and on to your computer. Use this to move the screen-shots from the *Camera Roll* to a pictures folder on your computer.
2c. If you do not want those screen-shots on your Touch, put them into the *My Pictures* folder. If you do want them on your Touch, add them to the *Touch Pictures* folder.
By the way, if you do not remove the pictures from the *Camera Roll,* you will see the camera wizard every time you connect the Touch to iTunes.
One more thing; if you want to have separate folders _on your Touch_ for different types of pictures, create sub-folders inside the main folder. For example, If you create a folder called *Touch Pictures* which has photos in it that you want on the Touch - _in that folder_ create folders called "family", "friends", enemies". Put photos into those folders and Sync the Touch. Then when you look in the Photos App on the Touch, you will see *Photo Library* on the first line which has all the photos in it and you will also see three more lines below, which read "family", "friends", enemies". In those folders will be only the photos for that folder.
Easy. No need for "Copytrans Photo" or anything else!

No. Not without access to a computer running iTunes. You do want to use your own computer so that you can restore from your backup and sync your own content back from iTunes.

No Synchronisation of Photos between iTunes 10.5 and iPhone 3GS after iOS 5

I made the Update to iTunes 10.5 on my Notebook with Windows XP and the Update to iOS 5 on my iPhone 3GS.
I had a lot of Problems (the Backup had an Error, my outgoing Mails were all deleted in all Mail Accounts, the Synchronisation of Music and Apps needs a lot of Synchronisations and a lot of Time and so on) with these Updates and I need more than 12 Hours at the Moment to repair all the Errors.
My last Problem is:
There is no Synchronisation of Photos between iTunes 10.5 and iPhone with iOS 5.
I can not see my Photos in my iPhone.
The Capacity in iTunes 10.5 shows 4,4 GB Fotos on my iPhone, but in my iPhone, there is no Folder in the Photo App and so I can not see the 4,4 GB of my Photos.
This Problem comes with iOS 5. I had this Problem never before.
First, I gave in iTunes a OK for a Home Sharing of Music, Videos, Photos and so on for the Folders and for the iPhone.
Second, I was in iTunes in Photos and deleted the Check in the Folder Photos.
Third, I made a Synchronisation with iTunes and the iPhone.
Fourth, the Capacity of the Photos was then only at 0,17 GB.
Fifth, I close iTunes and switched off the iPhone.
Sixth, I started iTunes and iPhone new and bring both together with the USB-Port.
Seventh, the Syncronisation started and the Capacity of the Photos in iTunes was at 0,17 GB, too.
Eigth, I set a new Check in the Folder Photos in iTunes for a Synchronisation.
Ninth, the Capacity showed 4,4 GB again.
Tenth, the Synchronisation started and showed on the Display "2 Photos of 16.000".
Eleventh, the Synchronisation Circle stopped after 10 Seconds, but the Notebook worked 2 Minutes longer.
And after this the Synchronisation stopped appruptely / crashed (?) and the Photos are "unvisible" on the iPhone.
Is this a known Bug?
Has Someone a Solution for a correct Synchronisation of the Photos, so that I can see successfully my Photos in my iPhone again?

Ever since my upgrade to iTunes 10.5 my laptop has been crashing. I've heard that the update ***** up 100% of your CPU, essentially crashing your computer. Apple, fix this now!!!

How do I view a list of my photos in iTunes? I need to delete some photo albums that were duplicated.

I accidentally created a couple of new photo albums when I backed up or synced my phone. Now I have hundreds of duplicate photos on the phone. One solution I saw online said to delete them using iTunes, but I don't actually see the photos in iTunes. Sometimes I see a multicolored horizontal bar across the bottom of one of the iTunes screens. It says how many photos there are, but won't display them. Please, how can I delete the additional photo albums? Thanks!

Connect the phone to iTunes on your computer. Click on its name. Click on the "Photos" button at the top of the screen.

Apple TV - No cigar for displaying photo's.

I am disappointed and frustrated by the new Apple TV facility to display photo's.
My photo's are stored on my computer in Nikon RAW format (NEF) I don't want to have to convert them to JPEG's just to do a photo session on the TV. I would also end up with two copies of every shot which is a real pain. If google picasa can display raw images why not apple TV and iTunes.
Also I can understand only having 720p for movies. (1080p/i would need to much broadband bandwidth.) But for displaying pictures which are only coming from a PC or MAC I would really want 1080p to make my photo's really shout at people.

The RAW file is the starting point, the digital negative, the derivative processed file is the final output.

Displaying photo's vertically from slideshow to appleTV

When I start a slideshow from photo's on my iphone and airplay to my apple TV, the pictures are mostly sideways, but if I just swipe through photo's they seem to be all displaying just fine. Do I need to configure something on my iphone?

Sync Photos in iTunes selects 0 photos

I just upgraded to photoshop elements 11. When I attempt to sync photos in iTunes (to synch with my iPhone), Photoshop Elements appears in the drop down and when I select it, it finds all the "albums" in the catalog. However, when I select an album to sync, iTunes indicates 0 photos are available in the album.
I'm running photoshop elements 11, iTunes 11.0.1.12, Windows 8 Pro.
Any thoughts?
Oh, and if I try to sync "all photos and albums" it still reports that there are "0 photos" available to sync.
I've tried to make new albums, which iTunes "sees" the names, but there are "0 photos" available to sync.
I've also tried to sync with a folder (file system) which works just fine.
Any thoughts?

I solved the mystery. It had to do with the file metadata in the Photoshop Elements catalog. When I moved the catalog (pictures) from my old machine to the new machine, the path (folder location) of the images changed. So, although the catalog had cached thumbnails of the photos to display in Photoshop Elements (which tricked me into thinking that the path to the images was correct), the paths were actually wrong. All I had to do was “reconnect” the missing images (a feature in Photoshop Elements which corrects missing/wrong paths to images) and now everything works correctly (sync in iTunes).

If you used iTunes to get the photos on the phone, then use the same iTunes and uncheck the music you don't want and do another sync.

Were the photos taken by your new iPhone? If so, did you not import them off your phone to your computer (as you would any other digital camera) before the restore? If not, restoring wiped the data off the phone and your pictures are gone.

HT4061 iTunes will not open when my iPhone 4S is attached to my Mac Book Pro. iTunes will start up but as soon as my iPhone appears in the list of devices the program then quits and displays the message 'iTune Quit Unexpectedly'? Can anybody help?

The Problem/s
1. I am unable to sync my iPhone 4S with my Mac Book Pro, either by cable, wifi or bluetooth
2. iTunes will initiall open and briefly identifies the iPhone in the Device section in iTunes.
3. When iTunes starts to read the iPhone (displaying the spinning wheel), it immediately then quits and
4. Opens a 'dialogue box' which displays the message "iTunes Quit Unexpectedly"
5 The dialoge box offers the following button options to:-

To the average user the information is useless, as one doesn't know what to look for to solve the problem. This is a long and detailed report (too long to include in this message), which includes information such as:-

Exception Codes: KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS at 0x00000000000006f0

The 'Ok' button simply quits and closes the dialogue box
'Reopen'
The 'Reopen' button will again reopen iTunes, briefly showing that it is trying to read the iPhone in the Devices section, but then returns again to display the same dialogue box.
Other Information
1. iTunes will still start normally once the USB cable is removed from the Mac book Pro, but crashes again once the USB cable is reattached to the computer
Any advice or help offered would be greatly appreciated.

If the Migration Assistant won't do it, move them over as you would any other folder; they're located in the Pictures and Music folders of your home folder by default. The iPhoto library needs to be transferred via a drive, partition, or disk image formatted as Mac OS Extended or through an AFP network share.

Looking for iPad App for displaying photos via a projector

I'm looking for an App that will allow me to display photos using a projector yet permit manual advancing through the slides.
The included Photo app only works with the projector when in slideshow mode. As soon as I try to manually advance a photo the projector output stops.
I've seen references to Keynote but I'd rather not have to import 'x' number of photos into Keynote to be able to display them. I'm not convinced Keynote will do what I want anyway.
There's got to be an app out there somewhere that does this. Isn't there?

Locking the iPad so that a user can't exit an app isn't possible for any developer to implement, since the developer kit doesn't provide that sort of access to the low-level routines in iOS. The only way to lock into a single app is to use a case/frame that covers the Home button (and turn off the gesture support in the settings in iOS 5). A number of companies make kiosk mounts for this purpose.

Here are the steps for AirPlay:
Before starting Azul from your (running iOS 5.x/6.x) home screen where have have all your apps we need to turn on mirroring
On your iPhone 4S/5 or iPad 2 or 3, double-click the Home Button to view your recently-used apps.
Swipe all the way to the right to until you see the icon.
Note: If the icon does not appear, go to the "If AirPlay Mirroring is not visible or available on your mobile iOS device" section.
Tap the icon to see the list of available AirPlay devices.
Enable AirPlay Mirroring in this menu by tapping on an available Apple TV, then sliding the Mirroring slider to ON.
Now you should be seeing your iPad/iPhone on your TV.
Start up Azul now and using the settings icon on the top right corner go to the option that say "TV out" ON.
When you do that you will see an Orange screen
Now click "Done" and play the video you want to watch and it will AirPlay
