But product view(elemnts tab) has not the user-exit columns.

Are components also plan in APO with MRP type X0?
Does PDS or PPM contain all the components?
Verify if the component is maintained properly in the PDS.
Check whether there is an active integration model for the components, also execute the RAPOKZFX report for all the materials in question.
When you convert the PPDS order to process order then conversion happens in ECC/R/3 system. This is the place BOM has to be reexploded in ECC. Please check if you have any enhancement which restrict BOM explosion.
Also check OSS note 1576703 suggested by an expert Caetano.

JSP generates html but the browser displays the html source

Hi,
I have iWS 4.1.3 on my Win2K Pro OS, as well as iAS 6.0. The documentation
says that JSP is enabled by default. I put a simple .jsp file in my document
root, and when I enter the url for the .jsp file, the browser displays the
html source as opposed to rendering the html tags.
I use IE 5.5 and Netscape 6.0, 4.77.
Has anyone encountered this? What do I need to do to get JSP to work
correctly.

I too have the same setup & did not do anything additional to get it
working, but it works fine for me. May be the request is not reaching the
webserver or try to disable and then enable the .JSP option, it may work. I
believe iWS newsgroup will be able to help you in this regard.

How can I display the descriptor column from a view in my BR message

I have a table, Memberships, that contains a column for staff id. The staff data is on a remote database and I have created a view to access the required data. I have set the descriptor sequence for the name column of the staff view but the BR still displays the id.
I'm assuming that because staff is a view and has no capi of its own, the membership capi cannot call the staff capi function display_label.
I still would like to display the name of the staff member instaid of the ID. Can anyone suggest a workaround to force the display but without having to customize the membership capi after it has been created by headstart?

try altering the code to create the capi.
I modified this code allready quite a lot to achieve my goals.
I also had that problem, and solved it by altering the code that generates the display_label. For each display_label funtion, I add a call to a package- function 'APPPA_LABEL.display_label' with parameters the tablename and the pk of the record. In the packagefunction, you can write your own definition of the display-label.
The Productivity Boosters look a bit difficult in the beginning, but when you get to know them, you can achieve some good results.

Display one video source as two views?

Hey all.
I'm looking for a way to have an OSMF based player playback a single video instance but represent it in the interface as two seperate views. The source video has composited elements in it that I need to pick out for display independantly, and ideally to be able to display one at a time, or switch between.
In Silverlight this is possible using the VideoBrush object, its a very cool capability, but I havent been able to find any similar functionality in actionscript, or flex. Have been looking over the osmf documentation, and actionscript docs, and of course had a good search around the web.
The alternatives seem to be using ScrollRect or Mask in combination with graphical overlays, or using scaling and positioning of two seperate sources of the same video, but these approaches mean I'd need to play back two instances of the video, not one. This would seem to introduce all sorts of overhead, and maybe synching and bandwidth problems.
Can anyone share any experience or insight into how to tackle this problem?

Not sure if i am following extactly, but you can display the media element in 2 containers and it wont double the bandwidth just the client side rendering. If you can use hardware accelleration via StageVideo this could be a non issue.
Other option is to playback one instance and copy and render into another component via bitmap data and drawing. I wouldnt normally recommend this.

List view to include a column or field which would display the sequence number in a view

I have a view for a list which displays items following any condition or sorting. Now, i would like to display the list items in such a way that
the auto incremented numbers are displayed as an arbitary field which would display the numbers such that
its just going to display items in sequence. Is there anything that can be done in sharepoint designer for the list to accomodate a column/field which would display the sequence numbers.

There are columns such as
Name, Goals
and it should be arranged in descending order of Goals and it could be paginated but also a column should be displayed for ranks e.g
Name Goals Rank
A          40     1
B          39     2
C          30     3
So, the idea is the ways it is sorted in descending order, if we possibly have a counter then we could display the ranking of the items.

Dreamweaver CS6 for Mac: Is there a way to display the file path in Design View?

Under Windows, DW's Design View shows you the path to the current file, right next to the document tab. I noticed the Mac version omits this handy feature. For those of us who work with lots of similarly named files distinguished only by folders, being able to quickly see what folder we're in is crucial. (see image below -- that's where Windows shows you the path, but is blank in Mac)
Is there something I'm missing, or some way to get that functioning? I know that I can see the path if I switch to Live View, but that is kludgy and breaks my workflow.

I use CoderPlus workspace & tabbed panels. For me, the file url is on the far right side. See screenshot.
If you click the "Page Icon" in upper right corner to tile, the URL shows on the left side.

Displaying the Data Source Name on a Crystal Report

Does anyone know a way to display in the report header the Datasource name. We have Identical reports that get run on Identical databases with different Datasource names for our different manufacturing facilities. This would make it easier to Identify what Plant database the report was run against.

there is a function in sql where you can use DB_NAME()
this will produce in a stored procedure, not sure if you can use it in a sql expression or not

Displaying stock and sales orders for aggregated product in Product View

Hello,
We have successfully created an SNP aggregated planning scenario which uses CTM to plan purchase requisitions and planned orders at the aggregated product level. The disaggregation to the sub-product level is working as well.
We have one issue.
We would like to be able to use the Product View (SAPAPO/RRP3) to view the sales order and stock information for both the aggregated products and the sub-products.
Currently, the sub-products (which are the materials in the stock and sales orders functions in ECC) show the disaggregated planned orders and purchase Reqs, and the sales order and stock information in the Product View.
The aggregated-products (which aren't included in the ECC sales order and stock functions), only show the aggregated planned orders and purchase Reqs.
Is there a Product View configuration which will show the aggregated stock and sales orders in the aggregated product view?

spro > sap guide > APO > supply planning > PPDS > settings for order view/product view
Under this, you can configure your customised product view structure.

Forecast Consumption in APO- No Data Available in Product View

Hi Experts
I facing some problem in Forecast Consumption in APO. The APO system is connected to a R/3 system. So data relevant for Forecast consumption comes from R/3.
The allocation indicator in the requirement class assigned to the strategy maintained in the product master is set as " no consumption with customer requirement". and the same is transfered to APO.
I have the changed the settings in APO and here are the setting maintained in APO to enable Forecast Consumption.
Product Master Setting:
a) Consumption Mode: 2 ( forward and backward)
b) Consumption Period: ( 30 days both backward and forward)
c) Strategy Group : 20 and assignment mode is set to "Assign customer requirement to planning with final assembly" and category group has sales order - BM
d) The check mode setting in the ATP tab is set to "Assign customer requirement to planning with final assembly"
I have a forecast for today's date and a sales order transferred from R/3 for the same date. But I do not see any data in the Forecast tab in the product view ( /sapapo/rrp3 Tcode)
Please let me know if I am missing any setting in APO. Or the SAles order carries the strategy information from R/3 and influencing the consumption any way.

What is your Forecast & Sales order quantity? If these are same then sales order consumed forecast, so you can not able to see in the rrp3.
Second thing try to increse the forecast quantity than sales order quantity & then check it.

Interactive Heuristic not working in product view

Good morning,
I am trying to run a Heuristic in the Product view (sapapo/rrp3) and I get the following message:
'Stage number algorithm can not be run in the simulation version' but I am trying to run this in our active version, any ideas?

The Heuristic maintained in the product master is the SAP_PP_002 (Standard lot) which is working but if you go into the header menu and we run the heuristic that replicates our nightly run (this is a 2 step planning run with SAP_PP_020 = Stage numbering algorithm and then SAP_PP_002 = standard lots).
It fails at the first step saying that it can not be executed in the simulation version?
Could this refer to the nature of the process rather than a simulation planning version? I mean due to the process that the number staging algorithm works, may not work running in APO and simulating the results (due to the data is only firmed once saved).

Can't view the Database source details page

Hi,
I am trying to create a database source.
Sources -> select a Database,
then clicks on the Create button.
It's going to next page. but, Nothing display this page. I am trying to create some other sources. Its display the corresponding details.
I tried to remove my local cache files and also restart the search server. But, nothing display in this page. Anything wrong?
FYI: Yesterday i tried,

Not sure I understand your problem.
What should happen:
1. In the Admin screen, you click on the "Sources" tab.
2. This lists all your current sources (if any).
3. Then you open the drop-down list next to "Source Type" and choose "Database".
4. Click "Create"
5. This should open a page "Create User-Defined Source: Step 1: Parameters"
where the first parameter listed in "Database Connection String".
Are you saying you get a blank page instead of step 5?
What version of SES do you have? (It should be listed at the bottom of the first Admin page). If it's less than 10.1.8.2 I would strongly recommend you upgrade.

The sales price calculation function contains three subfunctions:
       1.      Determining the purchase price (purchase price determination)
       2.      Determining the sales price (sales price determination)
       3.      Determining the margin, or the actual markup
So your question is about the first step i.e Purchase Price Determination
To determine the sales price of an article which is determined based on the purchase price of the articles ( markup), the purchase price of the article needs to be determined first.
Supply Source Determination
An article in a store can be procured from a DC or from a vendor. This is differentiated by using the "Supply source" which is in the Article Master - Store (or DC) view ( Field Name: MARC-BWSCL).
So when you enter a sales organisation and distribution channel in the VKP5 screen for Sales price calculation, the supply source needs to be found out first to find who is the supplier. The site for determining the supply source is based on the reference site that is assigned for every distribution chain ( Sales org + Dist Channel) and the Sales OrgDist ChannelPrice List
This configuration of assigning the reference site to the dist chain is in
Logistics general -> Retail Pricing ->Sales Price Calculation ->Assign Pricing Type/Reference Site to Organisation level
So once the reference site is determined the supply source of the article can be determined from that store. Then once it is done using the source determination of checking the
1. source list for the store/DC,
2. Supply Region
3. Regular vendor
etc then vendor will be identified ( the sequence may not be correct). Please refer to the below link for more detail on the source determination.

Once this is done, now we know the cost of the article ( PB00) but we need to find the purchace schema.
The standard purchase price determination sequence is based on the Vendor Schema Group + Purchase Organisation ( Porg Schema group ) if its an external vendor else the STO schema will be determined. Once the Net purchase price is determined through the purchase price, this is used for determination of the sales price using the another process of sales price determination sequence.
