Displayport stopped after using VGA

Hello everyone,
I have put a VGA monitor on my VGA port of the T520 (built in Intel graphics). This went fine.
Back at home I wanted to connect my Displayport monitor again, but this fails.
It seems like my T520 does not want release the VGA monitor. Because I can switch to projector.. but only
on VGA. It does not recognize that my Displayport is being used.
In the dual monitor settings I can only see the integrated monitor and a VGA connected monitor..
Can somebody tell my how I can stop the VGA port from thinking it has got a monitor connected? Or what should I do?

Please do not set in Control Panel, instead setup in Intel's panel. Anyway please to an update on BIOS and display driver.

Display noise after using VGA projector

I taught two terms at the university using my MB Air 2012 with a VGA projector. Each time I connected the Mac to the projector and took it off, there was random noise on the display. I considered it as normal. Now the lessons are over and I don't use the projector any more. However, every time I turn on the Mac and when I shut it down, I see the same noise on the display. Otherwise, there are no problems.
Is there a way to get rid of that noise?

My MacBook screen is stuck in "presentation" mode (I don't know the correct term) after using my Apple Mini DisplayPort to VGA Adapter - meaning the screen fonts and windows are larger than usual. How can I fix this? I've changed the display settings to modify it a little, but it still doesn't look right. I reinserted the adapter numerous times and restarted my computer, it still hasn't worked. Help!

Not sure how to fix this problem. I have connected this laptop to a TV before, but with a different cable other than the one i just purchased. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Found the fix. Still don't know if it was Windows, iTunes, or Norton 360, but this worked immediately for me:

I found a solution posted from Rodfromnework for PC users. It worked for me and easy to do.
Start --> Programs --> Accessories (Right Click on Command Prompt) --> Run as Administrator
then type in:
Netsh winsock reset
Hit enter, restart PC, open iTunes, go to Store
Hope it works for you too.

Can you use VGA and DisplayPort at the same time.

I have a T500 with the ATI graphics. I currently have it set up with only a VGA monitor. I am wanting to also get the DisplayPort to VGA adapter. Will I still be able to use both external monitors and my laptop monitor? If anyone has done this let me know. I have read that you can use VGA and DVI but neither of my monitors have DVI.

I belive that the trigger is being changed on the io board, but cannot manage to reset it.
The reset process takes in the order of 0.1 sec, and since this is a time critical application, i want to get the scanning function working again faster

Dear Ian. Thank you for your reply. The problem appears to be that the scan trigger(s) are stopped, or something, by the use of the AI_setup instruction. The sytstem works perfectly until this instruction is used. My problem is in understanding what has happened since the help seems to give no detail on any interconnection between the scan system and the external analog trigger system. If possible I would arrange for a good service center to go over it. Hopefully they have a variety of parts in stock. They can test and verify all is working. The previous attempts are based on guesses by the person at the other end of the phone without diagnostic tests to assess the culprit. It is extremely unlikely for a webcam to fail & for it & a Mic to fail together should be an indicator to a good technician it is something else. EG Motherboard

Your put your Air into sleep mode with headphones attached, I assume.
Upgrade to the latest OS to resolve that issue.

That would indicate an issue with the local network, not internet. This can impact devices differently and will likely be more obvious on a streaming only device.
If you are on wifi try ethernet
Make sure DNS is set to auto (settings - general - network)
Go to istumbler, netstumbler or similar to get a report of the network, look for signal strength and noise.

Pro L10: After using a wireless mouse, the touch pad has stopped working

Pro L10. After using a wireless mouse, the built in touch pad has stopped working properly. On start up the touch pad icon shows and the touch pad operates intermittently, after a few minuets the icon disappears and the touch pad stops functioning. In the control panel/mouse & or device drive I can the program operating and then disappears.
I have removed the software and reinstalled to no avail. On occasions I get a message to say that another pointer is in operation.

It seems that the wireless mouse or the wireless mouse drivers/software has a bad influence on the touchpad.
I dont have a proper solution for this issue. Well, you can check the Toshiba driver page for newest driver updates. If the updates doesnt solve this issue so I suggest to use either the wireless mouse and disable the touchpad with the key combination FN+F9 or to use a common USB mouse.
I assume that you dont have any problems with a common USB mouse.

How to stop Microphone after use ?

I'm using the flash.Microphone class and when I call Microphone.get(), the microphone starts working.
But I would like to disable it after use. As on some computers, you hear yourself.
How to do something like Microphone.release() ?

Streaming to TV using VGA cable questions!

I've been streaming my mid 2009 Macbook pro to my LCD TV for years now. For some reason in around Feb. 2012 it just stopped working. I'm using a VGA cable with a seperate audio cable. Anyone else have this happen? For some reason I think it stopped working after a software update around the time that the troubles started. Anyone have any idea? Trouble shooting suggestions? Anything helps, thanks.

Only HDMI will carry the Aduio and Video together, if you use VGA, a audio cable is still required in the headphone jack to carry the sound to the TV.

Photoshop CC 2014 stop after a few seconds

I'm a CC subscriber and I recently updated my photoshop CC to photoshop CC 2014.
I can start Photoshop but it automatically stops after a few seconds. I've already tried to uninstall / install multiple times without any success.
When I read the file "amt3.log" in my temp dir, I can see "[ERROR] | | | | AMT | | | 7188 | ERROR: Failure Validating Product License!".
So it seems like a licensing issue.
Did anyone faced this issue?

I have the exact same error on the log file. I even tried the "nuclear solution" with no more results...
But as I tested the nuclear solution, I uninstalled Lightroom (which worked fine) and I've got the same issue, but I solved it by manually installing it (i.e without using the cc application) and it worked fine.

However, I can't get my hands on a similar installer for Photoshop CC.
