Distinguishing between different calendars?

Is there a way to distinguish between different calendars from iCal on the Touch?

Nope.
Hopefully they will update that in the future. (www.apple.com/feedback)

  • JTree Node Color, to distinguish between different activities

    Hi,
    Situation:          Dynamic JTree (Tree is constructed from as a result of Database). User has the option to either Enable / Disable node and can repeat the activities but restricted only one activity per node, the node is to be highlighted; to restrict the user from further activities.
    Problem:          Am a newbie to swing, after searching the forum for the same, i found few good solutions which are specific to color change of specific selected node, in a temporary context.
         But we need the node color change within a same level; to distinguish either the node is either enabled / disabled.
    Your help is appreciated,

    1. Is the approach above a good approach, how to load children 'lazilly'?Sounds pretty reasonable to me.
    2. I also use custom renderer to display different icons for every "tree" level. When I initially expand the 4th level, everything works fine !!! Then I collapse the 4th level and expand it again and here my problem starts: my 4th level icon is set to 'root level icon' instead of '4th level' icon. This does not happen, if computerNode.removeAllChildren(); method is removed from listening above
    Any idea, what am i doing wrong?Ummmm... Load the model the first time (only) the node is expanded... Putz!

  • Distinguish between different checkboxes/links in onInputProcessing

    Hi everybody,
    I've got a form with two links and two checkboxes. I would like to trigger a serverside event handling when any of these elements is pressed. So I use Javascript: the page attribute 'navigate' is filled with different values on client side (document.view.navigate.value = action) and the form then sent by 'document.forms[0].submit();'.
    <form name="view">
    <a href="javascript:submit('select1');">
    <a href="javascript:submit('select2');">
    <INPUT TYPE="checkbox" NAME="cb1" VALUE="X" onclick="javascript:submit('upload1');">
    <INPUT TYPE="checkbox" NAME="cb2" VALUE="X" onclick="javascript:submit('upload2');">
    <input type="hidden" value="" NAME="navigate">
    <input type="hidden" value="" NAME="OnInputProcessing(input>">
    <endform>
    <script>
    function submit(action) {
       document.view.navigate.value = action;
       document.forms[0].submit();}
    </script>
    This works fine for the two links: 'navigate' is filled with either 'select1' or 'select2'. However 'navigate' is initial when I select one of the checkboxes.
    Unfortunately I can't use 'htmlb:checkbox' in this project.
    Can You help me there?
    Best regards,
    Markus

    I tried using this syntax and i was able to capture the event.
    <script>
    function submit_action(action)
      alert(action)
    </script>
    <input type="checkbox" name="Bike" onclick="submit_action('upload')" />
    This is passing the upload to my javascript function.
    hope this helps.

  • Since iOS 6, my calendar app shows many events as gray with a dashed line around them.  dont mind the lines, but i want my color coding back so i can distinguish between multiple calendars.

    How can I make my ipad show the designated calendar color for events? Have tried using ms exchange and gmail...they look identical.  It seems to happen to items I add from my computer or android phone, but not events added from ipad.

    Somehow my settings and calendars have gown complicated...I have Microsoft Exchange, Google, AND gmail.  What ended up working was switching all of them off, shutting down my ipad, restarting my ipad, and then choosing one of them to switch back on.  Now all the colors are correct.  Thank you, emdak.

  • Integrating 3rd party SSO with SAPGUI and distinguish between different SID

    Hello,
    we are trying to integrate a SSO application on Win XP with SAPGUI 6.20 (SAP 4.70).
    The SSO app fills, in case of SAPGUI, the fields 'client', 'username', 'password' and 'language'.
    Which credentials to choose is normaly based on information the SSO app gets out of the applications context it should log in to.
    As an example with IE it's the window title and the URL.
    But with the SAPGUI we only get "SAP" as an identifier, despite which SID/server(?) is selected. And therefore we are not able to fill in the corresponding credentials.
    Where can the SID (and perhaps 'client') be retrieved by an external program when the logon screen is displayed by SAPGUI?
    Please apologize if this is the wrong forum or I'm using wrong terms, but normaly I'm living outside the SAP world.
    TIA!
    Regards,
    Frank

    as an addendum to my post, I've seen that this can be done.

  • How can I use different calendars associated with different emails to see appointments separately?

    I have 3 emails accounts on my Blackberry curve. I want to use different calendars for different type of reminders/appointments. How can I do that? In calendar I pressed menu key and then clicked on select calendar, choose one email address (email 1) then entered an alarm but now if I go to a different calendar associated with different email ( email 2), it also shows me that alarm which I entered in email 1 calendar. Thanks for help

    Don't have LV handy to open the old code, but I did read through the thread you referenced.  It sounds like the example configured 2 counters to create the variable-freq finite pulse train and configured a 3rd counter to count the # steps generated as verification.   That 3rd counter would be a problem for you as there is no internal timing signal connection between your 2 USB devices.  You would need to run a physical wire connection and change some of the config code to match.  Alternately, you could just delete all the code associated with the 3rd counter for now because it isn't strictly necessary.
    Further advice/questions:  Are you planning on a pure sine wave of frequency such that you oscillate with both positive and negative velocity (example: varying from -1000 to +1000 Hz clockwise)?  Or is there a nominal average frequency with a small sine wave superimposed (example: nominal of 1000 Hz clockwise, variation of +/- 50 Hz)?
    I *think* you may be dealing with more of a continuous pulsetrain situation, which is actually much simpler.  You would only need 1 counter/timer, though you would still perform the freq changes in a timed loop which uses the pulsetrain as its timing source.  You'd just need to keep track of your total elapsed time so you could figure out the right sinusoidal freq value at the moment you're ready to update it.
    Another subtlety to watch out for if you're oscillating about 0 velocity  -- don't try to create a frequency that is lower than the rate at which you need to update.  Also, with steppers you may have mechanical stability issues at low freqs like 10's to low 100's of Hz.    These kinds of things may need to be managed as special cases which force you to deviate from a "pure" sine wave.

  • Distinguishing between two instances of the same portlet

    Hi Experts,
    Is there a way to distinguish between two instance of the same portlet in different browser windows?
    I'm looking for something like URL parameter passing, but just for portlets.
    The problem is, I want a way to pass a parameter between views in a portlet, but in such a way that if another browser window is opened and navigated to that portlet page, the parameter won't be the same. Perhaps I can explain better with this example:
    Page A has a portlet on it which has a textbox and 2 buttons - the first button stores the value in the textbox in the PortletRequest (or PortletURL) and if you click the second button the portlet navigates to a different view which displays the value. If I navigate with a second browser window to Page A, however, and only click the navigate button, that value which was stored by the first instance of the portlet will still be shown. I want them to be independent, I don't want changes in the one's PortletRequest to reflect in the other one's PortletRequest.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    JP

    Why not use two instances of the same portlet, i.e. create two channels of the same portlet.
    The behave the same, have the same application logic, so all you need is to transfer informations between the two portlets.If you want this within user space use the portlet session, otherwise access the http session context /application context and store the data there.
    The behavior would be controlled by the portlet preferences, so channel a (instance 1) would be configured to run as controller and channel b (instance 2) would be configured as receiver.

  • Can JMSPriority be used to distinguish between real-time, near real-time workloads?

    IHAC that needs to throttle work passed to a backend system, i.e. limit
              the # of concurrent requests, as well as prioritize between different
              kinds of workloads including real-time, deferred real-time

              How is the JMSPriority used when consuming messages from a queue in WLS
              JMS? Are messages dequeued in strict priority order or is there an
              algorithm to ensure lower priority messages are periodically consumed,
              i.e. to ensure they are not starved-out? Or do you have to create a
              message selector to dequeue based on priority?

              Any code snippets on how to write custom connection factories would be helpful.

  • Distinguishing between CSV and Excel file formats

    I am trying to distinguish between CSV and Excel files.   Most of the files I need to process are CSV, but some have been opened and re-saved in Excel format.  I know about the Excel toolbox available, but haven't used it yet.
    I need to be able to open a spreadsheet file regardless of if it is in CSV or Excel format.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Here are two example files, one CSV and one Excel.  Both have .XLS file extensions.
    Attachments:
    20-4-XLS.xls ‏21 KB
    20-5-CSV.xls ‏8 KB

    Hi Paul,
    I think the matter is not the extention (xls or csv or whatever) but the format of the data written in your file.
    To see what I mean, open the xls file you posted with notepad... What does it look like ?
    You have tobe sure of the format of the file you want to read so that you can develop an appropriate VI... if you want to be able to read different type of data format, do a test before reading the file and then use an appropriate routine for each format.
    Hope this helps you...
    BTW, to read the one named CSV, a simple "read from spreadsheet file" VI will do the job

  • Distinguishing between IDocs for Delivery, Shipment and Invoice

    Hi Experts,
    I have a requirement where I am triggering IDocs from SAP for Delivery Document, Shipment and Invoice and sending them to a third-party middleware everytime they are created in SAP, by configuring output types for these documents.
    I want to know if we have any field in these IDocs's Structures that can be used to distinguish between the different documents such that we can identify which document has been received based on this field (or combination of fields)?
    I tried to use Document Category for this purpose, but this field is not available in Invoice and moreover, the IDoc Segment names are different for every IDoc's message type.
    The key point here is that I am not allowed to do any sort of Customization in SAP to achieve this and I can only go about using the Standard Functions inherently available in SAP.
    Please suggest a possible solution for this predicament of mine.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Keerthi

    Hello Keerthi
    I do not see where the problem lies.
    We exchange via FTP share  similar documents with one of our logistics partner:
    Inbound delivery (VL33N) => sent as DESADV.DELVRY03 => converted on SAP-XI to TRADACOMS ORDHDR => file suffix .LTI
    Shipping Order (VL03N) => sent as SHPORD.DELVRY03   => converted on SAP-XI to TRADACOMS ORDHDR => file suffix .LTO
    I am not a fan of functional file names yet if the third-party tools is not capable to distinguish between the documents based on their contents at runtime then we need old-fashioned unique file suffixes.
    Of course the two ORDHDR messages can be distinguished based on their contents. The message contains a TYP segment with the following qualifiers:
    TYP/TYP2 = '0430' = (shipping) order (= outbound delivery)
    TYP/TYP2 = '0660' = inbound delivery
    From this logistics partner we receive two different kinds of DLCHDR (delivery confirmation) messages:
    TYP/TYP2 = '0670' = Proof of Delivery for (shipping) order => mapped to STPPOD.DELVRY03
    TYP/TYP2 = '0695' = Goods receipt for inbound delivery    => mapped to WHSCON.DELVRY03
    The files have different suffixes yet they are not evaluated. SAP-XI just picks both messages and evaluates at runtime whether it has to transform the DLCHDR into a STPPOD or WHSCON IDoc.
