Distorted downloads when burned to CD

I purchased some music and then burned it to a CD. This has created cda files. However when i play these (on a different computer) from the CD the songs are all distorted (sort of on fast forward with clicks!!)
Are there some restrictions that I'm not aware of? Any suggestions to fix so I an play the purchased songs from a CD?

I've tried verbatim +r media at 4x and 2.4x both result in garbled audio. I've also tried burning via .img with no luck.
I've also tried imation -r media at 1x 2x and 4x all with the same results as well.
The issue might be related to 8bit sampling instead of 16bit sampling from the source so I tried exporting the iMovie files to quicktime to create the "16bit" this also did not help. Also note that when extracting audio from a clip, and looking at the waveform, the waveform is far from clipping where I get the overdrive audio.
This might be something related to overdriven audio from the source media, which does not distort on the computer, even when playing a burned DVD.
ACK. I've spent over $70 on this project and am coming up empty handed. :/ Thanks Apple. I think I'll consider warez-ing FCP & DVD Studio Pro so I can check and correct my audio levels (just kiddin!)

I have premiere elements 2. I happily burnt a version of my dvd then suddenly it stopped burning and I had the above message during the burning section of the process. My computer has adequate memory to run this programme and nothing new has been added. I then downloaded Premiere elements 7 as a trial and burnt this Dvd yesterday. However today it won't burn through 7 either so i am reluctant to upgrade unnecessarily. Can anyone shed light on why I receive this error message.
Other things seem to burn but I am beginning to receive messages that Adobe is low generally on memory allocation.

If you wish to pursue your question about burn to disc, then I would be glad for the opportunity to be of assistance.
The following would be my troubleshooting strategy and questions
1. What computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 13 running on?
2. Have you looked at the issue with and without the Intel HD Graphics 2000 and Higher preferences disabled
(See Edit Menu/Preferences/General)?
3. Where are you in Publish+Share/Disc/, DVD, AVCHD, or Blu-ray? And, what does the burn dialog's Quality Area
show for Space Required and Bitrate? What brand/type/capacity disc are you using?
4. Is the issue specific to one Timeline in one project? Or, is the problem there with another Timeline content and another
project.
I would prefer to see you sort out the burn to disc issue if possible because of the download problems associated with the 3rd party software
that is typically needed to obtain the disc product from the Premiere Elements VIDEO_TS, BDMV, or ISO Image. Excellent 3rd party software if you
can get it installed without a lot of companion garbage. Although how to have been described for the safest possible download and install, there
are no guarantees that you will not be hit with a lot of computer cleanup just to get one excellent program.

Recording level is too low when burning CD from playlist

When burning a CD from playlist, the resulting CD has a lower recording level than in the original recordings. How can I adjust this?

It sounds like you are having a similar problem to the one I was having when I was downloading my cds to itunes. The whole album would download but some of the songs would be on a different thumbnail instead of in the same album. Although the albums had the "artist" listed already it would still go to a separate thumbnail. It took me a while to search and figure it out through trial and error but if you right click on the album and when the tab pops up you go to "get info" and select "yes" you want to "edit information for multiple items" you must input the "album artist" and it will automatically import it into the correct album it originally came from. Some of them you have to input the information manually through the "get info". Hope this helps!!!

Set your Premiere Elements DVD output to a folder on your hard drive and then use the FREE Imgburn to burn the folder to disc for DVD... Premiere Elements does NOT burn to a folder for BluRay (send the author a PayPal donation if you like his program)

All I know is that once it is installed it is erased, the Lion Installer is erased from the applications folder.
You won't have to pay for it again if you have to download again. Remember to move it out of the applications folder, then you can trash it when you are ready or even burn a startup DVD.

Sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
1. Settings>Store>Apple ID.
2. Tap your ID and sign out.
3. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off.
4. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and then try to download again.

Itunes freezes when burning CDs

Similar post to others here. Since upgrade to IT 6, Itunes freezes when trying to burn some CDs. IT shows as "not-responding" in task manager. Seems to happen when burning CDs with newly downloaded tracks, perhaps in combination with imported tracks. I've tried several suggestions posted here.
- I uninstalled and reinstalled ITunes and Quicktime
- Installed updated BIOS, chipset, and CD R drivers
No luck.
Sometimes if I wait 3-5 minutes it will start the burn. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Log follows.

The computer just freezes and according to Task Manager, iTunes takes 100% of the computer's resources.

first let's try a
b repair install.
go to your add/remove programs, select itunes, click "change/remove" and then select "repair".

IDVD project plays perfectly in preview but when burned NO AUDIO.....

The iDVD (v 6.0.2 )project plays all video and menus/buttons perfectly in preview but when burned to NO AUDIO except on menus, none in the AUDIO TS folder, none on main video which has 11 chapters exported from FCP 5.0.4 as QT w/chapters.
Also the burned DVD has scrambled the links from the Scene selection menu to the correct video chapter.
I've checked all the media for 16 bit, etc.
WHY does it play fine on the simulator but screw up so badly when burned to disk.
any help would be appreciated, THANKS in advance

I had the same problem with my music not playing once I burned my iDVD's.
What I figured out, was that whenever I download music from iTunes, and try to use the music within my iDVD program, there's a little lock that appears in the iTunes file of the song I'm using. No one knows why...I spent hours on the phone with Apple trying to figure it out. So, the file is locked, and will play on my computer when I view my show, but will not play once burned, and I try to play it on the TV.
So, my work around is that every single song I purchase from iTunes...I have to burn onto a CD, and then burn back into my iTunes. That creates an unlocked file, and I am now able to use it.
I don't know if this is the same problem you are having...but it's a huge headache as I create these iDVD's a LOT for my business.
It basically stinks, and there's no fix - according to Apple...

HT1349 Option to "include CD Text" Inactive When Burning CD

I have always included CD Text when burning CD's from iTunes up until last week. I downloaded the latest iTunes update on Monday and suddenly This option is not active when I attempt to burn CD's using my external Samsung CD / DVD Writer. Why has this now happenned? I like Nero better when burning. I've only burned a few cds with iTunes so I can't really tell you. You can just open up iTunes and drage the files into Nero (when its asking for files to add to the mp3/audio/whatever disc).

If you save the quicktime audio as a self cotained .mov format, it can be imported into itunes. It can then be converted to an mp3 by using the "covert selection to mp3" under the advanced menu if needed.

What I want to capture is definately legal download but it only seems to want to download into Quicktime, and I can't figure how to get that into a format so I can import to iTunes and burn to a CD so I can listen in my car when I drive.

Actually that is one of the reasons I use Audio Hijack. Maybe WireTap is different now, but earlier versions would record ALL sounds, including system beeps and application alerts. Audio Hijack can record on a per application basis, excluding sounds from other apps that don't belong in that recording.
Audio Hijack records a standard audio file in the format of your choice (MP3, AAC, Apple Lossless, WAV etc). Once it's recorded, you can play it back in any sound app you like, or move it into iTunes so you can sync it to your iPod, or burn the file to a CD.
It records in real time, so if you want to record an hour of audio, you have to let it run for an hour, like a VCR. This is the only way to capture real-time streams. That said, if you wanted to record a program like This American Life that is also available as a ready-made podcast or audio file, you should download the podcast version instead of recording it, because it would be faster to download the ready-made file instead of recording it in real time.
WireTap and Audio Hijack are for when no easily downloadable file is available, and only streams are provided.

Missing Titles when burn CD

I am missing the titles and artists when burning a cd from Itunes. I have selected Include CD Text but it is still not coming over.
I am needing to get this CD burned tonight if anyone could help me out, I would appreciate it.

I bought my first ipod in 04 and some songs i imported into itunes were just listed as track01, track 02. I just bought the new ipod video 30gb and those track01, and track02 songs did not download into my new ipod. I have about 40 songs listed just as track01,track02,track03,track04. Photoshop CC distorted image when zoomed out. Text, edges and Straight lines.

I get this distorted image when working on a file. When I zoom in its fine. But as soon as I zoom out all the lines, text , and edges start to become distorted. I've checked that all my drivers are up to date. I've re installed photoshop and still the same thing. Any Suggestions. ( files look fine when saved or exported, this just happens while Im working )

That looks like a Moiré pattern. Did you scan the image?
If not, can you tell us what operating system?
And is your video card driver fully up to date from the maker's website?

I would guess that a TV series takes up a fair amount of storage capacity. It is just a standard message I think that may indicate that you are actually running low on storage space.
If you go to Settings>General>About how many GBs are specified as being available? If you are low on space maybe deleting some apps may help.
