"Distribution ...not available to distribute" error in log

I have set a distribution and channel but i am getting these messages in
the TED dist log. Please note % represent a sensitive variable

I think we need another level of logging enabled to actually see what went
wrong before this point. It sounds to me as if the APP object references
a path that the server is not able to resolve. Like maybe a drive letter
instead of UNC path.
COuld this be?

Has anyone any idea on why we are getting this error? Is seems any new distributions we create, or existing ones that have changed haven't worked since 29th Feb (not sure if this is significant or not). The distributions don't distribute and the distributor logs look like this:

Some DCs are not available locally - NWDS error while importing Track confg

Hi,
We have configured NWDI in our landscape.
As per the requirement of the developers, we have created a new product and software component (SC) in SLD, as they don't want to use any standard components.
The same has been synced with CMS using update CMS.
Now a new track is created (in landscape configurator) and the new SC has been added to the track. Track creation was successfull....given the sdm passwords for all 3 systems.
While saving a pop-up came saying that as the SC is New (i did not select the developed option), I need to Check-in and Import into DEV manually.....I GOT STUCK HERE.
What files needs to be checked-in in Transport studio?
Also when developers are trying to import the configuration in their respoective NWDS...they are getting "Some DCs are not available locally" error.
Also updated the patch of their NWDS but still no use.
Could any one help me out.

As per your advise. I have maintianed the 3 dependencies for the SC.
However, the error "Some DCs are not available locally" is still recurring in NWDS.

Hi Mr Honyal,
This is not possible in Standard.
You need to configure it throught user exit.
You can use user exit - CNEX0009.
The exit is called from PS, PM, PP, so while coding please use a specific transaction code like IW31, IW32 etc.
The exit is called material by material. So if you have entered 5 material in components screen,
the exit will be called 5 times.
At run time you need to check the availabel stock of that material and give error if the stock doesnt exist.
Take help from your ABAPer & MM consultant for coding and finding tables of stock.

SCCM 2012 software distribution not able to distribute content for chrome

Hi I am using sccm 2012, need some advice, thanks! I tried to deploy chrome exe to a xp pc but the PC software centre shows downloading for very long time, more than a few hours. I created a 64bit chrome for a win7 pc and deployment also not working, it
just failed. Then I downloaded a msi installer to deploy to an xp pc, the downloading also takes forever, I checked the distribution content, it's failed. I then created a DP group and add the single DP into it. but still not working. I did the work before
for firefox and it did work before. Not sure what happened. Not sure where to check the log for software distribution, any advice please?thanks!

So, does it mean I can use xxxx.exe /install /silent for all other exe installers? And to find out the detection method, do I have to install the exe on a local pc to find out the actual directory it will install it (Then uninstall it)? and xxx.exe /uninstall
is for uninstallation? Can I create a bat file like chrome-install.bat to have one line like "ChromeSetupStandAloneSetup.exe
/silent /install " as the the actual installer? Why there is a package option below application? it confused me ....

"not available for FaceTime" error after upgrading to Mountain Lion

I have an iPhone, iPad, MacBook and Mac Mini and have had no problems receiving FaceTime calls on any of these devices until I upgraded to Mountain Lion. Now everytime someone tries to call me on FaceTime they get an error that I'm not available. I can call them just fine.
Using my wife's iPhone I tried to debug the issue and found that after I toggle FaceTime off then back on using the Mac mini that I could receive a faceTime call. However, after a few days I am no longer able to receive a call.
Has anyone else had this issue and know of a fix?

Thanks, but this didn't work for me. I did a fresh install, so there was no subfolder in my Barnes and Noble folder.
I tried the second suggestion from NA Smith too, but that didn't work either.
I had this problem last year on my imac, and I gave up on Barnes and Noble. But I had one book I wanted to access (a diet book), and tried again on my new Macbook Pro.... same frustrating thing, even after all this time - shame on B&N!!!
So, I bought the one book again, this time at Amazon. I feel sorry for anyone who has bought many ebooks from B&N - they are definitely not even trying to be serious about their software - I assume the have a couple high-school kids working part time (?).

Location not available Find Friend error

Find Friend gives an error: "location not available" despite all efforts t fix it.
I deleated Find Friend and reloaded it.
I reset the iphone 5 and set it up as a new phone.
Both iphones 5 work for other FF entries.
What is wrong????

Who's location is not available? If you are opening FF and it is showing a friend's location is not available, it would not be a problem for you?

The process could not execute 'sp_repldone/sp_replcounters' error for Log Reader Agent and SQL Server Assertion 17066 & 3624 errors in SQL Logs

One of our SQL Server started creating SQLDUMP file and and on investigation I found the error longs are filled with Errors 3624 & 17066. There is transnational replication configured on one of the databases is the LogReader Agent is failing error "The
process could not execute 'sp_repldone/sp_replcounters' on XXXXX".
Not sure if both these Assertion & Logreader Agent errors are related. Before I remove and put the replication, I wanted to check if anyone has experienced the same issues or aware of what the cause.

You need to determine if this error is a transient one or a show stopper one.
It sounds like your log reader agent has crashed and can't continue.
If so your best bet is to call Microsoft CSS and open a support incident.
It also sounds like DBCC CHECKDB was running while the log reader agent crashed.
If you need to get up and running again run sp_replrestart, but then you might find that replicated commands are not picked up. You will need to run a validation to determine if you need to reinitialize the entire publication or a single article.
I have run into errors like this, but they tend to be transient, ie the log reader agent crashes, and on restart it works fine.

Workflow not executing - No event error no log errors

Hello experts,
I finally solved the exceptions i was getting in my work flow and all the thanks goes for all the forum participants in general and to Sudhindra, and Glauco specifically,
Now i have another error that i am clueless about, i want to trigger the workflow when the status of a document changes, so when i change the status nothing happens, in SWEL there are no errors, It says that receiver started correctly, in ST22 there are no errors, but
the workflow does not execute, the workflow should open a web browser, so it is not opening it. Any ideas as to why this is happening ?

I have replied to this in the original thread... anyways here is a copy of the same...
No the background task is executed by the user WF-BATCH and once the function module is called the user transfers the control to the SAP GUI and then the SAP GUI communicates with the OS. In this case if the task is background then how will the OS know where to call the web browser? It will not know the user to whom this request must be dispatched.
So the bottom line is that you cannot use this functionality in a background task.
There is one workaround that comes to my mind. What you can do to inform a user that the "Changed" event has triggered is as follows:
1. Create a workflow which will trigger off from the Changed event of "DRAW"
2. Create a send mail step and check the checkbox that says "Send Express" and include the URL you want to open in the Mail body and then send it to an outlook user.
If you use the Send Express flag then the user will be intimated once the event has occured if and only if he uses the SAP GUI. If the user does not use the SAP GUI then you can remove the check but just send the mail to the outlook so that the user receives the email in outlook once the event has triggered!
Apart from this nothing comes to my mind!

Since upgrading two days ago to Firefox 8.0.1 I get this error message on 80% of the addresses I try to access:

What's the problem with the upgrade?

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

The CMS system database is not available (FWM 02088)

Hi all,
After installation of BOE 3.1 the system fires back the error message on attempt to logon to CMS:
Account Information Not Recognized: The CMS system database is not available. This error cannot be rectified by the end user. Report this error to your system administrator or database administrator. (FWM 02088)
Any inputs? I've tried with new SIA as well as fresh installation but the issue persists.

were you able to see any DB error messages in event log ?
can you connect to your DB from the server itself ? (could be FW issue)
What do you see under the CCM ? Do the SIA is in green state ?
For me it is probably one of 2 things : FW issue (but install will have failed) or DB issue

EDI: Partner profile not available in VF02

Hi Experts,
We are trying to generate IDOC using VF02 (billing).
We configured partner profile properly. And also we are using standard output type RD04 and application is V3. And using standard program & form routine (RSNASTED, EDI_PROCESSING).
While saving the document VF02, we are receing "EDI: Partner profile not available" message in the processing log file.
What might the problem? Where we are doing mistake.

I am also facing this problem, this error is however coming for the billing documents pertaining to some sales organisation. For other sales organisations, the idoc is getting generated succesfully.

after a successfull installation of Oracle on my SuSE 6.2 System
I tried to start Oracle but sqlplus complains about "Oracle is
not available...Error".
My Question is how to start up Oracle manual and how do I start
it automatically ??
What did I wrong ?

ok.. first check to see if oracle is running.
ps -ef|grep oracle should bring up some things like ora_XXXX_SID
where SID is what you named your database.
don't see these... well your DB isn't up.
ok.. check you /etc/oratab it should be something like
SID:<ORACLE_HOME>:<N or Y>
If it is 'N' it means it won't start up automatically when you
call dbstart. change this 'Y'
now, su into oracle and type 'dbstart' your DB should be up.
(do the ps -ef|grep oracle to check)
ok.. to test
% . oraenv
ORACLE_SID=[] ? <type your SID here>
% sqlplus sys/change_on_install
to change default passwords...
SQLPLUS> alter user sys identified by <newPassword>;
SQLPLUS> alter user system indentified by <newpassword2>;

This will not bring up the listener, so you will not be able to
connect to this DB from other machines.
