  • 2012 SCCM SP1 Distribution Point Certificate store error on Server 2003 R2

Has anyone had this issue on Server 2003 R2 where you are getting this error listed below? All content is being distributed ok. But, monitoring is showing errors with all my Distribution points and I want these errors to go away so I don't have to sift through
    all the darn errors.
    Thanks for your help. Daniel.

I have found the error message in the smsdpmon.log on a Windows Server 2003 SP2 system acting as a Distribution Point (only).  The error shows up when / during a scheduled content validation on that server and is repeated after each package is "validated".

  • When using field point I/O points i get error message

when labview 1st loads and i open my FP vi which uses FP I/O points to specify the channels, they are all greyed out and the error "unable to bind to comm port" is returned. on running the program a second time, no errors are returned. also i cannot get an executable of the program to run without producing that error.
    Any ideas?

    Hi Stewbert,
The "Unable to bind to COM port" error indicates that FieldPoint Explorer cannot use the specified COM port for communication. The two general cases that cause this error are that either the COM port is not configured properly or does not exist, or that the COM port is already in use by another program. To check the COM port and eliminate this error, follow the steps below.
First, quit all other applications that may use the COM port. Note that the serial cradles for the popular Palm or Handspring Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs) can connect over a serial port, and therefore you may need to quit the "Hot-Sync Manager" program if your computer is configured to use a Palm.
If closing all other programs that use the COM port does not elimin
ate the error, then next check that the COM port is configured properly. From the Windows task bar, Select "Start >> Settings >> Control Panel >> System >> Device Manager >> Ports". Confirm that the COM port you have specified is in the list, and that Windows indicates that "the device is working properly". Additionally, if the COM port has been added through additional hardware, then use any available diagnostic utility that may have come with the board to test the COM ports. For example, if the COM port is added through a NI-Serial board (PCI-232, etc), then selecting "Start >> Programs >> National Instruments >> NI-Serial >> Diagnostic" will run a diagnostic of those COM ports. Correct any problems that are found, and then continue with configuration in FieldPoint Explorer.
Please let me know if that helps

  • Org Unit as Distribution Point for Document Distribution

    Hello Experts,
I would like to maintain a distribution point for the document distribution. Therefore i still have maintained the distribution point (it is an org unit) in the available communication types (INT, RML,..) in SPRO...->Document Distribution->Define Communication Type.
But now every time when a distribution package will be started for distribution I get an error message: "Function <senden> not possible". The package should be send via distribution type INT to the distribution point.
Perhaps the communication type INT is not maintained for the org unit yet?Where can i do this?
    Regards,
    Christian

    Hi Christian
The distribution point under Type of distribution point and Distribution point is used under the following conditions:
    1. If distribution is initiated manually and the Distribution immediately indicator was set without entering an explicit distribution point.
    2. If distribution is initiated manually and the
Distribution immediately indicator was not set.
    3. If distribution is initiated by an event.
If the "Send to distribution point" indicator is set and no distribution point is entered explicitly, the current user becomes the distribution point if distribution is initiated manually. If distribution is initiated by an event, the user that triggered the event becomes the distribution point.
Follow this Procedure. Also Check all the setting in Define Distributio Types for Distribution type INT
where you mention distribution Point details. You will have to explore alittle bit.

  • Can't update OS to latest version - get error message

I was getting some advice/suggestions for this problem (see below) from the imac section of Communities, and after several attempts did not work, a contributor suggested posting to the iphone forum. ( I don't know how to cross link)
    Problem:
With my 2 yr old macbook, I cannot update my recently purchased iphone 4 when an update is available. I get message: "...device isn't eligble for requested rebuild." I have worked with Apple store Genius bar staff 4 times with no sucess.  Latest attempt was to erase HD, reinstall OS X, and only reinstall itunesin orde to test the update feature.  In this scenario, with only itunes on the macbook, the update is successful.  However, after  I drag and dropped many, but not all, of my programs and files from the saved data on external HD back onto the macbook, and tried an update on a different iphone 4 (in our family plan), same problem.  So I guess somewhere in what I transferred back onto  the macbook is a bad file.  I suppose I could go through the tedious process of transferring one program/file at a time onto the macbook, then trying the update again, but I can't do an update after each transfer because there is no new update to download, as they come out only every so often.
Is there a program that can scan the external HD to find bad/corrupted files?  I have Spring cleaning and Drive Genius, neither of which seem to have the features to do such a scan (they do have disk scan, which I have run, along with Apple's Tech Tool, and all such scan operations have show no problems)
(to complicate this, this apparent bad file on this macbook likely came from my white intel based iMac.  I first discovered this "updating of the iphone 4 problem" on the imac.  When we bought the macbook, we bought one to one and had the Apple store do a complete transfer from the imac to the macbook in its first time set up.  I purchased the iphone 4 in Sep 2010 and first tried an update in Nov 2010, which failed.  I have been back to the Apple Genius bar 5 times since then with this problem.  During one of those visits, Genius suggested trying to do just the update of my iphone 4 from the macbook, and that is when we discovered the macbook had the same problem.  So this bad file likely was transferred to the macbook in that initial set up transfer.  Furthermore, this macbook is still under AppleCare, yet that does not seem to mean anything to the Genius Bar.  Tomorrow I will call applecare about this, but in the meantime, if anyone out there has a clue, I'm much obliged.
If this works, here is screen shot of the error message:
    file:///Users/imac/Desktop/Screen%20shot%202011-07-18%20at%203.21.36%20PM.png
One suggestion was to do a safe boot, then try. Same problem
Another was to provide the contributor a cut and paste of teh Console activity lines of the time this happened.  I did that and found an old version of Mozy still trying to do something.  I fixed that , shut down, started, tried again, same problem.
    Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks

Sorry to hear of your woes too. So, do you even get to the point where an error message box appears that  states ... isn't eligible for requested rebuild...", or some other wording,  (with a "more info" tab that takes you to an apple.com  help screen)

You won't be able to delete the existing account in order to set up a new one without the password for the old account.  If your father doesn't remember the password, he can reset it as explained here: iCloud: Change your iCloud password.

    Error 1600, 1601, 1602
Follow the steps listed above for Error 1604. This error may also be resolved by disabling, deactivating, or uninstalling third-party security, antivirus, and firewall software. See steps in this article for details on troubleshooting security software.
    Error 1604
This error is often related to USB timing. Try changing USB ports, using a different dock connector to USB cable, and other available USB troubleshooting steps (troubleshooting USB connections. If you are using a dock, bypass it and connect directly to the white Apple USB dock connector cable. If the issue persists on a known-good computer, the device may need service.
If the issue is not resolved by USB isolation troubleshooting, and another computer is not available, try these steps to resolve the issue:
Connect the device to iTunes, confirm that the device is in Recovery Mode. If it's not in Recovery Mode, put it into Recovery Mode.
Restore and wait for the error.
    When prompted, click OK.
Close and reopen iTunes while the device remains connected.
The device should now be recognized in Recovery Mode again.
    Try to restore again.
If the steps above do not resolve the issue, try restoring using a known-good USB cable, computer, and network connection.

  • L_TO_CREATE_TR displays the error message instead of returning !!

    Hi All,
The FM L_TO_CREATE_TR is displaying error message instead of returning error/raising exception, as a result the program terminates there, and we are not able to capture the error, and process other items in the loop.
    MESSAGE ID SY-MSGID TYPE SY-MSGTY NUMBER SY-MSGNO
                WITH SY-MSGV1 SY-MSGV2 SY-MSGV3 SY-MSGV4.
The above code in line 142 of Include - LL03BF1A, displays the message as Error, if message type is E. Whenever we try to change the SY-MSGTY to I in debug mode, the control again comes to the same point, with same ERROR message, infinitely!!
An example error message is 'Available quantity in bin is zero'.
Please provide a solution for the above issue.
    Thanks,
    Prabhakar

    Hi All,
We have solved the issue, by adding an exception ERROR_MESSAGE before OTHERS, while calling the std. FM L_TO_CREATE_TR.
For the MESSAGE statement(for msg type E & A) without RAISING clause, the FM will be forced to raise the exception ERROR_MESSAGE. The details of the message can be read from the system parameters(SY).

  • Error message System Overload. (-10011)

    Hi,
I just purchased Logic Express 9.
I have a macbook, which matched all the minimum or recommended specifications. E.g. 2GB RAM for large projects. And yet my computer fails to keep up with even playing the demos. It stops at random points and an error message comes up:
    System Overload.
The audio engine was not able to process all required data in time.
    (-10011)
I have installed the latest update.
I have no other programs running
and I am currently running the demo files off a fast external HD, however I have tried running them off my computer and the demo disc.
Does my computer simply not have the processing power?

    Hi,
    I have a 2006 Macbook with 2GB's myself.
Your problem is that every Hardware has it's limits when it comes to playing audio. Our little Macbooks haver their limits earlier, a Mac Pro with tons of CPU power & ram will have it later.
To avoid hitting this "CPU ceiling", you can do several things:
1st: Set the audio buffer to a higher value. Though i run my Macbook at 64 or 128, you should try 256 or higher to start with. Set this in Logic's preferences->audio
2nd: Depending on the number and load of the plugins in your channelstrips, CPU load will increase dramatically. Using less plugins or less CPU hungry plugins will certainly help.
3rd: If you have a software instrument track selected during playback, Logic reserves huge amount of CPU power for realtime processing for this single track, leaving all the other tracks with less CPU potential. So, if you just want to play back a project, select an (empty) audio track or the master track instead. This will free up lots of cpu power.
4th: If you have tracks that have been finished for so long, freeze them. This will take the load away from the cpu and put a rmixdown of this single track to your harddisk. However, if your HDD is very full and/or slow and busy with other tasks, you might get the same error, but usually, it helps a lot.

  • Error Message - Organizer Data

When I try to synch, I get this message: CRTranRec::GetField Template: Database is corrupt. How can I fix this?

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
I don't find any KBs specifically on point to that error message, but I seem to recall some discussion threads here on it...please try a search here to see if you can find those. From the message content, one could deduce that the database on either your BB or in your desktop organizer app has corruption in it, but it's hard to know exactly which. You might try researching your desktop organizer app to see if there are any repair capabilities for it.
You also may wish to try the steps in this thread:
    http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Desktop-Software-for-PC/Cleanly-quot-Starting-Over-quot-with-...
It starts with a process for cleanly starting over, and there is some discussion, and there is also a post (15) with links to older Desktop Software versions, if those are needed. Note that this is not, by any means, guaranteed to work...but it has worked for many to resolve issues they are having.
    Good luck!
