District data missing in the Outbound Queue of CRM
Hi,
We have an issue with the information not flowing to the Outbound Queue of CRM.
For eg . When we change the District information for a BP and synchroniye the system, the information is flowing in the Inbound queue to the CRM system and we are able to find the District data in the Bdoc. But when we check the Bdoc in the Outbound queue of CRM for this site, this District information is missing over there.
Any pointers on this would be of great help.
Regards,
Rasmi.
Hi Rashmi
Which BDoc did you check - the MBDoc or the SBDoc?
I guess the first thing to do would be to see if the information is correctly updated in the CDB.
If the district is missing in the CDB entry then the problem is with the synchronisation between BUT000 and SMOKNA1
You may have already checked this but I just thought I would ask

Need to know how to check the outbound queue in SAP for data flow into CRM
Hi Specialist's,
I have changed an entry in Customer Master Data in Sap r/3 and this change has come fine to CRM system.I checked the inbound BDOC in CRM ( Trn:SMW01) and it has come fine into CRM system.I am also able to see the affected field in CRM with new value.
I need to know how to check this from SAP side i.e. I have checked the outbound IDOC list (WE02) but could not find the record.
Is there any other way in SAP that i can check?
Also please let me know if there is any other way except IDOC in SAP to send data from R/3 to CRM?
Usefull answers will definitely be rewarded with points .
Thanks,
Abhinav.Hi Abhinav,
There are no IDOCs generated in R/3 for replication. R/3 system calls BAPI and Function modules remotely on CRM system which are part of the Adaptors provided for middleware.
Try to deregister the outbound queues in R/3 (Transaction SMQS) and see if you get an entry in the Outbound Queue (Transaction SMQ1). I have not tried this.
If you don't get any entry in the outbound queue then definitely there would be some FM at R/3 end which would be calling CRM system remotely.
<b>Reward points if it helps.</b>

Error " Data missing for the entry check while creating a new waste code
Hi all, While setting a new Waste code I get the error " Data missing for the entry check, correction:". while filling the NAM- WASTECOCAT - LER item.
This sould look for the catalog's name included in the phrase set but for some reason it doesn't find it giving me this error.
I am changing original Characteristics, phrase set, classes, and value assignment type. Just to have my own estructure with Znames for all of them.
I have also change the enviroment parameter "WAM_PHRSET_WACATLG" with the name of my phrase set.
I have checked everything several times watching for typos or looking for a missing step.
I have even tried including my new Z's characteristics in the classe and living the original SAP_EHS_1024_001_WASTE_CATALOG. (changing the enviroment parameter WAM_PHRSET_WACATLG to SAP_EHS_1024_001_WASTE_CATALOG) and it works.
I will like to change this characteristic by Z_EHS_WA_WASTE_CATALOG
Phrase set to Z_EHS_WA_WASTE_CATALOG.
enviroment parameter WAM_PHRSET_WACATLG= Z_EHS_WA_WASTE_CATALOG
After matching up the master data It should work fine but I might be missing something to get it running ok.
¿Any idea?
Regards,
AlvaroHello Juan Carlos, the value and class that I want to duplicate and doesn't work is for Waste Code, I have also duplicated the one you have displayed (waste pproperties) without any problem.
1.I have duplicated and changed class SAP_EHS_1024_001. to Z_EHS_WA
2. Create a copy of the 5 characteristics included in this class.
SAP_EHS_1024_001_WASTE_CATALOG
SAP_EHS_1024_001_WASTE_CODE
SAP_EHS_1024_001_WA_SUBCATEG
SAP_EHS_1024_001_WA_CATEGORY
SAP_EHS_1024_001_REMARK
change the name by
Z_EHS_WA_WASTE_CATALOG
Z_EHS_WA_WASTE_CODE
Z_EHS_WA_SUBCATEG
Z_EHS_WA_CATEGORY
Z_EHS_WA_REMARK.
I checked the funcion C14K_WASTECATLG_CHECK is in the value of the Z_EHS_WA_WASTE_CODE characteristic
I checked the funcion C14K_WASTECODE_CHECK is in the value of the Z_EHS_WA_WASTE_CATALOG characteristic
3. Create phrase sets for each new category. with same name.
4. Match up the master data.
5. Change the enviroment parameter.to Z_EHS_WA_WASTE_CATALOG
I think I have followed all the steps, but for some reason it doesn't find the catalog
The phrase for the catalog is EWC in english and LER in spanish.

Some Data Missing in the inbound Idoc received from Gentran
Hi,
We are receing one custom message type with the basic type ORDER05 in SAP from Gentran. When we checked the destination file generated in Gentran, its showing data for all the segments. However in SAP when we checked the corresponding idoc we find the segment E1EDP05 is missing. The Gentran team says they are placing the destination file in the unix server of SAP. However we dont find these files in the SAP Unix server. Could anybody advise what could be the problem and where we need to check further ?Gentran will never be able to create an IDOC within SAP. Here is what happens:
> Gentran creates a flatfile/XML which is in the IDOC format (the one which you can see in WE60).
> Gentran then places this flat file/XML in a folder on Application server. This can be UNIX, Windows NT, etc..
> Gentran then triggers the Startrfc.exe which will trigger EDI_DATA_INCOMING function module.
> This FM will parse the data, check it for consistency of the defined standards, then write the control record into EDIDC and corresponding data records into EDID4 and updates the relevant statuses (i.e. 01 - added, etc). It'll then look into the partner profile setup, look for process code and moves the status to 64 and calls the inbound FM which will post the application document.
In you case, you need to find out what file is coming in and where E1EDP05 has missed. The data will only be sent by Gentran. The inbound function modules will never update IDOC data records (unless there is a customization). The status records are updated.
If E1EDP05 is not mapped and sent by Gentran and you still used to see it, then there should have been a customization in place to add values to IDOC segment fields. Try to get the final file that is mapped from either X12/EDIFACT and then see if E1EDP05 segment is present in there. If it is present then upload the same file into AL11 using CG3Z and call EDI_DATA_INCOMING or WE19 to process it. Once processed, you'll can observe if E1EDP05 is being created or not. -
Hi,
I have an outbound queue failed with the error 'SYSFAIL' and the error text ,"for object, number range interval doesnot exist" in CRM system. Please help me as i would like to debug the queue. As i am new to CRM middleware, i would like to know the process of debugging it.Hi,
Can you please check the very helpful note 656823 for interface debugging.
Please see as well link
http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/x/JovwDg
Please check as well in t-code SNRO if the number range is set properly in both system ECC and CRM.

Entered DATA missing from the Database ( SEM CUBE )
Hi,
We are in the process of compiling the Annual Budget for 2011- 12. We
are using BW-BPS for capturing the data.
The Problem, is that we are not able see the Data entered in last two
days. The users have entered the data in SEM-BPS layouts and saved it.
Also they have executed the Queries through the Bex Analyzer which had
the data till yesterday evening, but today if the user tries to refresh
the query then the data is missing.
The name of BW SEM-CUBE is "ZUCOPA_TC".
Please suggest some solution.
Thanks
NileshNilesh,
someone might have run a delete function or another incorrectly configured planning function that deleted the data (or set records to zero).
First, STOP any compression jobs on your planning InfoCubes. (If any compression job with zero eliminiation ran the past two days, the data is probably lost for good).
Second, check in LISTCUBE if the data is still in the InfoCube. Make sure to select ALL fields for the output (including request id). If you are lucky, you will find all the deltas of changes that happened in the past days. If there was a delete (or similar) you should find these deltas, too. Now you can recreate the original data again (it's tedious but can be done).
Whatever the outcome, you should implement some operational improvements to your planning applications:
1) Create backup InfoCubes of your planning InfoCubes (fill with nightly DTP for example)
2) Implement audit log of planning activities (see how-to guides)
Both will give you a much better chance of recovering data in such cases.
Good luck,
Marc

Service Level Reporting - Trend Analysis data missing in the report
Hi Experts,
I'm working with sap solution manager and Business Process Monitoring.
I can't get to know how to configure the system in order to get Service Level Reporting collecting data for "Trend analysis" related to business processes.
In fact, in my reports each trend analysis graph (last week/month six months) is empty, no matter which aggregation type (AVG, MAX or SUM) I use.
It seems like the BI within the Solution Manager doesn't collect the data, or doesn't provide them to SL reporting.
How can I check whether something is missing in my configuration?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Querying Dates missing in the table
I have columns name, taskname start_date and end_date in my table.
e.g.,
Name Task StartDate EndDate
abc task1 2008-04-01 2008-04-03
abc task2 2008-04-05 2008-04-15
abc task3 2008-04-08 2008-04-18
abc task4 2008-04-21 2008-04-25
abc task5 2008-04-19 2008-04-23
abc task6 2008-04-25 2008-04-30
I need to find out the dates for which there are no tasks planned for the person in the month excluding Saturdays and Sundays.
Is it possible to get the output in a single SQL itself, or else how could it be done in PL/SQL procedure ?Hi,
You'll need to do an outer join to a table (or subquery) that has all the possible dates. Here's one example from this site:
OUTER JOIN -
How to select data missing in the table?
<p>
<strong>I have a list of strings as follows (not in the table):
'aaaaa'
'bbbbb'
'ccccc'
In the table T1 I have a VARCHAR column x. The data under x are as follows
'aaaaa'
'ccccc'
I want to formulate a query such that it will bring 'bbbbb' since 'bbbbb' is not in the table. Please help!
Thanks.
</strong>
</p>We get asked this question on a reasonably regular basis.. Apparently people think it's perfectly normal and acceptable to ask a data repository for all the data it doesnt contain. We normally have a conversation that runs:
Tech "So, you want to see all data in the database, that is not in the database?"
User "Yes"
Tech "How do you propose that a database gives you all the information it doesnt have"
User "Oh. Now you put it that way.."
Actually I wish someone would hurry up and invent a data repository that does this, that way if I suddenly took a liking to The Beatles, but didnt have any of their songs in my collection, I could ask the data repository for all the Beatles songs I didnt have and.. bam! I'd have all the Beatles songs! cool
Seriously.. youre asking us to tell you how to make an oracle db tell you what information it doesnt have, but youre refusing to supply a block of data for it to compare against (i.e. so it can know what "Everything" is, in the phrase "Everything it doesn't have".
Do you really see it as possible?

Stuck Outbound Queues in CRM system
Hi Guys,
In CRM system the out bound queuse for the Sales Orders got stuck with the following error "Too many recursive subroutine calls"
The Sales Orders are not getting replicated from the CRM system to R/3.
The business partners associated with the sales orders are getting replicated to the From CRM to the R/3 system.
anyone has clue regarding the issue.upon debuggin we found the follwoing nformation
In debugging the program it states the following:
Too many recursive subroutine calls.
What happened?
Error in ABAP application program.
The current ABAP program "SAPLCC01" had to be terminated because one of the
statements could not be executed.
This is probably due to an error in the ABAP program.
What can you do?
Print out the error message (using the "Print" function)
and make a note of the actions and input that caused the
error.
To resolve the problem, contact your SAP system administrator.
You can use transaction ST22 (ABAP Dump Analysis) to view and administer
termination messages, especially those beyond their normal deletion
date.
Error analysis
An ABAP/4 subroutine was called recursively too often.
This is probably due to a conversion exit or a user exit
triggering the same exit again and again.
These exits are implemented by function modules with the names
CONVERSION_EXIT_xxxxx_INPUT/OUTPUT or USER_EXIT_xxxxx_INPUT.
You can find out which ABAP/4 subroutine is affected in the
section "Active Calls / Events".
Conversion exits are triggered during screen field transports or
WRITE statements, field exits during field transports from the
screen to the ABAP/4 program, so they are not called directly by
an ABAP/4 program. Most likely, this is due to the implementation
of a conversion exit which contains a WRITE statement for a field
to which the same conversion exit is assigned in its Dictionary
domain. As A result, the exit is triggered
recursively.
You can make up to 50 ABAP/4 subroutine calls.
How to correct the error
Probably the only way to eliminate the error is to correct the program.
You may able to find an interim solution to the problem
in the SAP note system. If you have access to the note system yourself,
use the following search criteria:
"RPERF_TOO_MANY_CALLS" C
"SAPLCC01" or "LCC01U05"
"PCA_CHECK_LUHN_MOD_TEN"
If you cannot solve the problem yourself, please send the
following documents to SAP: -
Error in outbound queue. Packed field contains incorrect BCD format
Hi,
Can anyone please help me with this.
In the outbound queue of CRM, the queues are stuck up in SYSFAIL state.
The error is ' Packed field contains incorrect BCD format.'
Can anyone suggest what this could mean?
Regards,
PratimaHi Pratima,
In the CRM Server, the structure has more fields than in the R/3 System. Fields BAPISDIT-TAX_AMOUNT, BAPISDIT-CR_EXCHRAT_V and BAPISDIT-EXCHRATEST_V have data type 'DEC' and do not exist in the R/3 System. During the initial download, the fields receive the value '020202...' and cause the termination "The packed field does not contain a correct BCD format" in function module CRM_SALESDOC_MAP_BAPI2MBDOC.
Use Transaction SE11 to add the following fields at the end of structure BAPISDIT in the R/3 System:
PLANDLVSCH PLAVO CHAR 4
SEQUENCENO CHAR35 CHAR 35
CREDPRIC UMREFF FLTP 16
PAY_GUARAN CHAR2 CHAR 2

Reg:Outbound Queues are strucked in CRM
Hi All,
After Extracting Data from CRM source system, the rercords are still displaying in the outbound queues of the CRM Source system.what might be the issue? In outbound queues the status is NOSEND or is it maintaining one more copy of the records.what happens manually if the queues are deleted.if any queues are deleted the posting to BI is stopped. If any data is missed by deleting the queues ,shall we recover the data back.what are the steps to schedule the those jobs in BI.
Thanks & Regards,
MD.Kalim.Hello,
I would check the customizing in SPRO. It seems that your System is customized to distribute billing numbers.
My guess is
Customer Relationship Management
Billing
Country-Specific Functions
Official Document Numbering
Transfer Official Document Numbers to Accounting Documents
Check whether there is an entry somewhere there forcing the System to behave the way it does.

Outbound queue locked due to incorrect password
Hi Gurus,
I'm having a problem to activate an Integration Model as I'm getting an error stating that the outbound queue is blocked due to incorrect password.
I have set up the RFC destination of the SCM ECC logical systems wit a valid user (I tested it). I've changed between using a Dialog user and a Communications Data user. Between every change I made I've cleaned the queue using transaction CFQ1.
Do you have an I idea of what I might be missing?
Many thanks,
DiegoDiego,
It is unclear to me which system you are experiencing the problem on. Either way, the reasons are usually the same. I will address establishing the ECC>SCM link. Works the same way in the other direction.
Every time I have had the problem you are experiencing, I usually find that the fault lies with me, not the system - I have made assumptions that were not correct.
BD54 ensure that your logical system name is what you think it is. Unless you are rigorous in your naming conventions, it is easy to become confused between logical names/hostnames/system names for SCM and ECC, ,
NDV2 ensure that the SCM system is properly identified
SM59 Make sure your IP address, or hostname is right. Make sure the system you are logging onto interactively is the one being accessed in SM59. Make sure you have the right userid. Password is casesensitive on some versions of R/3 and APO, but not casesensitive on others. I always use UPPERCASE text only for PWs, at least until everything is totally debugged.
From a technical standpoint, your RFC userid can be interactive or system, I always start with interactive until the intefaces are totally debugged. You auditors may have an opinion the final settings in the production system in this area..
