Diversion

Hi Gurus,
Sales made from the factory to the Customer A.Customer A Denys the taking material for some reason.Company divert the material to customer B without taking back the material to factory.
Legacy system flow :
Factory -
>Customer A----
>Customer B
Sales order A--->DLV A>Excise Inv. A->Commercial Inv. A---->A denys and diverted to B -
>Credit note to A and Debit Note to B
For the diversion Of the truck,  procedure follows  in legacy as below
1] Taking the letter from the dealer-A with detail of Challan no.Date, Qty & Truck no.
2] Marketing Dept Prepare diversion note on the base of Dealer’s letter and submit to Branch A/c
3] Branch Account will issue the credit note to Dealer-A and debit note to Dealer-B
4] No excise invoice will be issued to Dealer-B only commercial invoice will be given.
5] If not unloaded by any of dealer than in Extreme case unloaded into Godwn with proper Gr Note and update the stock records also.
While diversion not taken back the material and  Excise inv.also
The above process how to handle in SAP
Pls reply ASAP
Regards
Prem

Step 1
Do an OR > LF < F2 and then do a J1IIN with the F2 document.
This ensures that material is shipped to Customer A.
Hence Customer A gets debited and sales a/c is credited.
Now, Customer A refuses to accept the material.
Step 2
We have to raise a credit note with ref to the F2 document created in step 1.
This ensures that Customer A is credited and sales a/c is debited.
After Step 2 gets completed, the financial transaction with Customer A is completed.
Now, we will request Customer B to accept the material.
Step 3
We have to debit Customer B and credit sales a/c to the extent of F2 document created in Step 1.
So with reference to the F2 document created in Step 1 raise a Debit note on Customer B.
Hence Customer B gets debited and sales a/c gets credited.
If no customer is lifting the material, then take a sale return for the document flow in Step 1. This will be doing RE > LR > CR.

  • Br350 - Diversity and drivers issue

    Hi
I have a problem with the Aironet BR350, in the way it handles diversity. I run V12.05, and I use them as bridges with clients which means other bridges can route through.
I have Tx/Rx diversity enabled on both rightand left antennae, and I log the signal strength every second via SNMP. It is my perception that the radios will keep the connection down to 30-35% signal strength.
However, some times when the Rx signal strength on a non-root unit is averaging around 60-70, a singular drop to 35-40
    (or even higher like 45)
would coincide with the root unit to restart the process to the non-root-bridge, which causes a dropout of about 30 seconds. Reason for the drop of signal strenght is believed to be a short temporary multipath fade much less than 1 second, and in some of these cases the signal quality also gets worse. But I only get one outlier hit in the log. It is too bad that this causes 30s outage.
At this time I know for sure that the other antenna has a reasonable signal.
Has anyone got any similar experience, and maybe a solution?

here is a transcript of debugging. Note that these are logged on the RootBridges network, and timestamp is when they arrive there after the link is restored.

  • Diversity and trying to conver two different areas

So the whole purpose of diversity is to provide/improve coverage in a same area.  Basically two antennas placed with a reasonable distance from each other and the concept is that one antenna might receive a better signal than other and then both signals can be combined to get a single stream.  End result better communication.
Now something I have noticed that people are doing is taking the two antennas and putting them like 25 to 50 feet apart with diversity enabled trying to cover two different areas.  At times two different rooms so like one antenna is in one room and second one is in another room with a concrete wall between them.  Apparently they are saying that it is working for them.  I'm trying to understand the logic behind that how something like that wouldn't cause issues unless they have clients only on one side?

I've seen set-ups like this before and people at the site can (and will) say that it's "working".
Until I get a wireless sniffer out or do some scanning, it seldom works.  They will say that it's working purely for political (don't want to get themselves into trouble) and/or financial (they can't afford to put two APs) or both.
This may work (somewhat) in 802.11a/b/g but stick 802.11n/ac and I'm certain it won't work.  When I mean it won't work, I mean you won't see the full benefit of connection speeds of >155 Mbps.

  • Quicksilver 2002/ Elegato eyeTV diversity

Will a dual 1Ghz Quicksilver 2002 with 1Gb SDRAM,80Gb HD,running OSX 10.4 be able to use the Elegato EyeTV diversity 2008? It does have a PCI hispeed USB card (I assume therefore USB 2.0?) but I do get error messages about a USB hub drawing too much power & being de-activated. (I think this possibly is due to the PCI card having a VIA chipset.) Any thoughts would be appreciated

I know nothing about eyeTV but if the message is too much power is being requested then I'd suggest trying the device with a powered hub if there isn't the option to power it directly.

  • Aironet 1300 antenna diversity query

    good day!
does anyone had already configured an antenna diversity for aironet 1300 with 2.4Ghz frequency?
we want to have a ring type network, we have a site A that needs to have a stable link and this site A has an line of sight to two active sites, this are site B and site C. site B is a root bridge and has a different frequency and SSID and site C is a non root and also has a different frequency and SSID, do i need to re configure the two sites (B & C) to have a uniform transmit frequency and SSID so that we can have an antenna diversity in site A? so that, in case the link between site A and site B will have a problem the data will be re routed to the site A and site C link. Can anyone give us some tips to make the antenna diversity works.
    hoping for some replies. thanks!
    wel

maybe you are confusing diversity with redundancy??
If this is a point to multi-point setup and A is central to both B and C, then A should be the root bridge. B and C should be non root and have the same SSID as A. The channels are determined by the root bridge(A).
If the link between A and B goes down, C and A will continue to work only if A still works. B will still be down. If A goes down, both B and C are dead.
You will need to do multiple bridge shots with two root bridges as in A to B and A to C and possibly B to C with a bunch of spanning tree in there somewhere.
You should research this further; at this point the shot itself isn't the hard part, it's getting the fail-over to work correctly.

  • More about diversity

About two years ago you clarify my doubts about diversity, but today after seeing a hyperlink patch antenna data sheet, a doubt came to my mind, what if both antennas are identical and cover the same cell but with a little difference, the polarization, the antennas are cross-polarized , which happens in this case?
    Thanks

The antenna that is not in the right polarization will be about 3dB down.
Since it get a weaker signal, it will be selected less often.
In a case where you have PC antennas (tend to be vertical polarization) and laptop NICs with built in antennas (like the Cisco, which tends to be horizontal polarization), perhaps some benefit could be gained, I can't say I've ever measured or monitored it in that config.
    Good Luck

  • Mapping SIP Diversion Header into SIP To: field

Does anyone know how to use SIP Profiles on a CUBE to map the SIP Diversion Header into the SIP To: field?

It looks like, according to the below note from the "Additional Configuration Notes" section in that doc, that this is not possible on the CUBE:
"Regular expression variables can be used to extract and store parameters from an existing header, but the values stored in variables in one rule can be used ONLY in the replace-pattern of the same rule; it can NOT be used by any other rules, which means you cannot insert the values extracted by one rule into another rule. "  (third bullet in http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps5640/products_configuration_example09186a0080982499.shtml#notes)
Sounds like I can extract the number in the Diversion header in one rule but I cannot then use it to modify the To header in another rule.
    Can anyone confirm this?

  • BT Infinity and DECT Phone BT Diverse 6350

I have just had BT infinity installed at home with the latest Home Hub (V3).
I am using a BT Diverse 6530 digital corded /cordless phone for my voice calls. Due to the location of my study the engineer wired  the telephone directly to the master socket which also hosts the broadband connection to the router and then straight out of the home to the external telephone line.
The problem appears to be on incoming calls . When answered on the corded phone on the base station the reception is fine. However when an incoming call is received on the cordless handset downstairs in another part of the house the calling person cannot hear any speech (although I can hear the other person clearly).
This problem has only surface since I have had the new infinity installed last week . I suspect it is something to do with the channel frequency separation on the BT Home Hub Wi-Fi and the DECT system the BT  phone is operating in.
Any suggestions to resolve this problem would be most welcome
    Many Thanks

If you have not already tried it move the base station and the router a few feet apart - both can interfere with each other but a few feet of air can help a lot!

  • Antenna diversity in LAP1242AG?

Is the antenna diversity functionality in the LAP1242AG described somewhere? I have checked that both antenna ports are used for both transmit and receive. Eg is there a memory that remembers what port a client was best heard/receieved on? What happens with mobile client in a multi path environment. Note: I plan to use dual polarised antennas.

    Hi Niklas,
    Here is some info on the use of Diversity Antennas;
The purpose of diversity is to overcome multipath reflections. Diversity antennas that share the same physical housing are placed at an optimum distance apart. The maker of the particular antenna determines that distance based on the characteristics of the antenna. When you use a pair of antennas with matching characteristics to provide diversity for cell coverage in your facility, the guideline is to put those matched antennas at a distance apart from each other that is equal to a multiple of the wavelength of the frequency that is being transmitted. The 2.4 GHz wavelength is approximately 4.92 inches. Therefore, to support diversity on a 2.4 GHz radio with two separate antennas, the antennas should be spaced approximately 5 inches apart. The antenna pair could also be spaced at multiples of 5 inches, but the distance between should not exceed 4 multiples: reflected waves farther apart than that are likely to be so distorted and different in delay spread that the radio could not work with them.Because each antenna is selected by itself, both antennas must have the same radiation characteristics and be positioned to provide similar cell coverage. Two antennas connected to the same access point must not be used to cover two different cells.
    From this good doc;
    Multipath and Diversity
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk722/tk809/technologies_tech_note09186a008019f646.shtml
"You can relate this to a common occurrence in your car. As you pull up to a stop, you may notice static on the radio. But as you move forward a few inches or feet, the station starts to come in more clearly. By rolling forward, you move the antenna slightly, out of the point where the multiple signals converge.
A diversity antenna system can be compared to a switch that selects one antenna or another, never both at the same time. The radio in receive mode will continually switch between antennas listening for a valid radio packet. After the beginning sync of a valid packet is heard, the radio will evaluate the sync signal of the packet on one antenna, then switch to the other antenna and evaluate. Then the radio will select the best antenna and use only that antenna for the remaining portion of that packet.
On transmit, the radio will select the same antenna it used the last time it communicated to that given radio. If a packet fails, it will switch to the other antenna and retry the packet.
One caution with diversity, it is not designed for using two antennas covering two different coverage cells. The problem in using it this way is that, if antenna no. 1 is communicating to device no. 1 while device no. 2 (which is in the antenna no. 2 cell) tries to communicate, antenna no. 2 is not connected (due to the position of the switch), and the communication fails. Diversity antennas should cover the same area from only a slightly different location."

  • 3315 - Number of rings before diversion to voicema...

Is there any way of setting the number of rings before diversion to voicemail?
Currently my 3315 rings about 6 times and then diverts. This is too quick for me and I want to make it (say) 12 rings.
I cannot find anything on this function in the owner's guide.
    Thanks!

I also received this belated but nicely detailed response from Nokia Support, so I'm posting it here for posterity:
In response to your enquiry, the extension of a ring time is a network related feature. Hence, network features are not listed in the phone's user guide.
You may contact your network provider to request for the ringing time to be extended to the maximum time (normally its 30 seconds).
If this has been done, you can check if the time delay has been set to the maximum time from the phone.
    1) Menu>scroll to Call Divert and press select
    2) Scroll to Divert if not answered and press Select
    3) select Activate and press OK
    4) select Voice mailbox number and press OK
At this point, if the call feature has been activated, you will be able to see step (5) as per below. Otherwise, contact your network provider to request them to activate the call divert service and repeat the steps.
    5) Active:Voice Calls, press Details
    6) scroll to Delay and press OK
    7) You will be able to see the time in which the phone will ring before diverting the call to your voice mailbox.

  • Plötzlich diverse Bugs (Illustrator, Indesign, Acrobat Reader) unter OS X 10.7.2

    Hallo liebe Community.
    Acrobat Reader:
PDF Datein laden extrem lange.

  • Etherchannel via path diversity (different path length)

    Hello,
I have a question about path diversity within an etherchannel.
    Situation : One stack of 3750G-12S (2x) and 2x uplinks to 2960S stack (2x)
I want to improve redundancy in the form of path diversity.
One link via path A ~220 metres
and one link via path B ~ 500 metres.
The idea is to bundle those in one etherchannel.
Is the feasible ? (what about delay ? )
Is there any documentation about this on the Cisco website ?
    Thanks Bert

The delay between the two links will be ~1 microsecond, you should not worry about it.
